Omg this is a great explanation. My mom always acts like I’m her “human dictionary” and will ask me what certain words mean while she’s reading a book and I can never give her a good explanation cuz I just know the word’s vibes. Like mom you have Google, ask her!

the problem with reading and writing leading to a strong vocabulary is that you tend to know the vibe of words instead of their meanings.
