yknow ever since people realized tumblr isnt dead and have decided to flock here from twitter and tiktok ive seen a huge influx of people in fandom spaces who dont reblog anything. at all.

like, i used to have an art blog with 340 followers. not a ton but not a small amount either given how this website works with creators. and in my experience back then even the ones who only left likes still reblogged other things or at least posted their own stuff. literally the only empty blogs were clearly bots.

but on this New art blog, i've had so many people with fandom-specific headers and icons with actual usernames as urls and some kind of title or description, but have. Nothing. no posts. all they do is like things. and it's always public, too. their following list and their likes list.

and honestly all it makes me think is that these people are New and also don't know how tumblr works. how likes don't give exposure. not even in a "oh, i know it doesn't give exposure, but i'm still going to reblog anyways" way, but in a genuine honest to god straight up doesn't realize tumblr likes don't work like twitter's.

PLEASE please if you're from tiktok or twitter or whatever please reblog people's art both fandom and original if you like it!! and maybe actually pad out your blog's content in some way so people won't potentially see you as a bot and block you.

This is a ninjago AU I’ve been working on for months, and I finally finished designing the main cast! It’s named the cyberpunk Ninjago AU because of its cyberpunk themes and aesthetics (not in any relation to the cyberpunk games.) The ninja and a few other side characters from canon Ninjago live in a cyberpunk city named Ninjaglow (yes, pun, funny haha) where there are three main industries;

The Ring Fighters, an industry where different skilled fighters clash for rewards and fame.

Consists of Akita, Kai, Cole and Skylor (also technically Harumi and Zane, but I’ll get into that later.)

The Party Animals, are people in the party industry. They mostly consist of DJ’s and musicians, but anyone can party at the club.

Consists of Lloyd, Harumi and Morro.

The Car Racers, are.. you guessed it, part of the racing industry! In this industry skilled drivers race for rewards and fame.

Consists of Jay, Nya, Pixal and Zane.

So that’s the gist of it, but of course there’s a lot more that needs to be said about this AU, so I created a relationship chart! (Hopefully it’s not so messy that it is illegible)

Please refrain from shipping anyone in this AU unless they are explicitly lovers or have the ambiguous tag!

Something has happened in the Minecraft YouTube fandom

It’s such a mess… antis learned that an artist that was commissioned for one of SMajors thumbnails drew NSFW and attacked. Artist tried reaching out to Major about it and major basically said he didn’t want to get involved. But then on a live stream major basically threw the artist under the bus saying he didn’t know what proship was, just to save his own hide.

Which triggered another wave of attacks from antis. That ended in a full dox needing police protection and suicide watch. And deactivation of social media.

And it’s just awful. Major changed his boundaries just to save himself. For him it’s kinda a face eating leopard party, kind of thing. If antis had even an ounce of a real mission they would tear him apart. ‘So much flirting, queer, age gaps.’ Every thing they say they hate. I’m so tired of the hypocrisy.

ugh what a mess, I hope that that artist is okay
