yes yes i’ve thought about this so often and i agree sm 

Ok so I’ve been thing more and more about Ruby Redfish movies. So basically throughout the series (six books + the survival guide but it wouldn’t get a movie) everything happens within one year. If there were to be six/seven movies, that wouldn’t be possible as filming + editing + production takes quite a long time so here is what I would do if I were able to help out with movies:

1: Every two books a year would go by. Actors a lot of the time have huge age gaps with their characters, i’ve seen some be 10-15 years older, and depending on their face shape & makeup they can look quite convincing.

So it would start with LIME and TYLB with Ruby being 13, then CYD and FTF with her being 14, and PYP and BAYD with her being fifteen.

If she was aged up every year she’d be 18 which is way to old for the story, but i recon 15 would work.

Who I’d cast

I’m not going to go into my full fancast list (I’ll save it for another post), however I think it would be really cool if all the children were unknown actors, as there are so many undiscovered actors out there who this would be an incredible breakthrough for. I would also cast well know actors as the adults

so I was talking with a mutual right and we came to the conclusion that ruby is way more of a nerdy geeky kinda person than she claims to be. 

like she has SHELVES of books about coding/codes, some about advanced maths, a bunch of comics, like she is a stereotype geek despite what she says.

i feel like lauren child did this on purpose but its just so funny to me lmao

today’s productivity tip:

i’m having a wild couple of weeks as i prepare for science olympiad and the SATs while keeping on top of the workload from my 6 AP classes, so i’ve been doing everything i can to stay productive and motivated. this is a trick i like to use to divide up my work and keep it manageable.

first, make a list of all the things you NEED to get done that day. i know there are probably 20 things that you could do or that it would be nice to have done, but those are a second priority.

now, sort your list into three categories: emails/upkeep tasks, small/low-energy tasks, and major/time consuming tasks. you want to have about the same number of tasks in each category, so don’t be afraid to split up bigger tasks into less overwhelming components.

ideally, you should be able to rotate through these categories as you work, which will help keep you from becoming stagnant since each category of task will use your brain in a slightly different way.

if you finish everything on this list, congrats! now feel free to do the same thing with those second-priority, i-could-do-it-tomorrow tasks that you set aside earlier.
