I absolutely need this. I need to see one of the heroes (probably Batman, let's be honest) put two and two together, realizing that A) these kids only ever interrupt one of Flash’s fights to stop him from time traveling, and B) they supposedly don’t exist and.. Oh, oh no, Flash erased them from this timeline but they still exist. No wonder they’re pissed-
Especially if the kids is uno reverse Bruce Wayne bait.
These two kids literally stopped him from running back through the time 13th times in a roll by doing something distracting that completely took his attention alongside this them saving the day before Flash went back to fix it.
Scary accurate, too, after the last time he was tackled and manhandled by a giant glowing green dog when the kids play hot potato and threw a purple dog toy at him saying fetch cujo.
This little brats has some type of vendetta over him that they keeps stopping him from time running.
The 'We will break your kneecaps' on the watchtower in glowing green marker is new to him.. in the middle of a meeting with the Justice league.
You know, for the fastest man in the world, he didn't expect to get stalked and unabled to catch the stalkers even at last speed 13 times in a roll.
Especially with a group of heroes and Batman staring down at Flash for him to explain what had happened.
That two little kids were stalking the fastest man in the world to stop him from running sounds ridiculous, but it was true that even his team investigating can't seem to find anything or nothing on the database about this two children.
As if they didn't exist in the first place...

All danny wanted to do was go home after a lesson about being the Infinite Prince and its duty from Clockwork, but yet he couldn't seem to find the home portal, not even Vlad’s was opened which was very odd.
He did catch Ellie zooming around the ghost realm, who was panicking as well about the missing portals, but thankfully, Johnny and Kitty helped them find a natural portal to their home dimension.. Danny is going to have a stern talking with them about that later, but right now, he wanted to go home now.
Only.. there was no home to go to because Amity Park had disappeared.
If it weren't for Clockwork's sticky notes all over a stump trunk that used to be Amity Park's welcome sign that saved Danny from having a total meltdown and psychic break in his core with how small he and ellie became slipping out of the natural portal.
Apparently, some Jackass Time Speeder changed the timeline too many times in which Amity Park, the world greatest ghost town, ceased to existence.
Thankfully, Clockwork left them a little gift that were time watches to help located the dirty bastard that basically ruined Danny's timeline in exchange of punishment for all the timelines clockwork had to fix due to this man.
Danny and Ellie would gladly accept beating up this wannabe timeline ruining bastard, and they'll be creative at it, too.
Absolutely amazing 🤩🤩
Danny Phantom was a story that built a generation of superheroes.
It’s the story of a young boy that had power thrust upon him and he rose to the challenge. Him and his friends worked hard to keep their town safe no matter how crazy things got.
He fought monsters and gods and even kings but still struggled to balance school and protecting the town. His sister did what she could to help but it wasn’t until after she learned the truth behind his identity that they were able to truly bond as a family.
The story end with Danny going off to college after closing the portal forever. He would go on to be an astronaut and fulfill his dreams.
Jazz wished it was true. She wrote the Danny Phantom books so there would be a record of what her brother had done. That in some small way he would never be forgotten.
When she was in her late 30s, heroes came out into the light. It hurt to see them, they reminded her so much of her brother.
One day jazz, now 46, gets a call from a newspaper celebrating authors and they want to present an award to her in metropolis.
What she wasn’t expecting?
As they are announcing her award a new person comes on stage to present it.
Superman. He went on to say that the Danny phantom stories were part of what inspired him to become a hero “when he arrived on earth”
She felt a pang in her heart as he spoke, but when the flash, green arrow, black canary, green lantern and even Batman stepped forward to tell similar stories she could feel tears welling up in her eyes.
She manages to hold back her tears until she is at the podium looking at the bronze plaque with her brothers name on it.
The brother she hadn’t seen in almost 30 years.
She fell to the ground sobbing, the plaque clutched tightly to her chest.
“I’m so happy” she sobbed “I was so afraid this world would forget him, after everything he did for it.”
Jazz Fenton refused to elaborate. She couldn’t, other wise she would break the deal that kept peace between the realms.
The GIW saw no harm is foolish bedtime stories. They hid any and all proof that Danny Fenton otherwise known as phantom ever existed.
So long as he never returned, his friends and family would be safe.
Unfortunately for them, superman is one hell of an investigative reporter and he has the world’s greatest detective at his side.
I don’t have anything to add at the moment, too overwhelmed by the many stories from this post. (my heart can’t take all this angst/fluff) But just has to share.
Danny gets adopted by Bruce Wayne au but consider: Danny was brought up in a loving-if absolutely insane- household where pda and mushy gushy stuff wasn't only said, but expected.
The bats almost never voice thier love for one another, instead showing it in a variety of different ways.
What I'm saying is that Danny keeps nearly killing them by saying "I love you." I'm not even joking. Danny has nearly offed the bats more times in his week staying in wayne manor than any Gotham villian would dare try
I like this one, the idea of Duke being able to see them too is fun and cute, and perfect bonding for the two of them. ☺️
Danny had been adopted by Bruce Wayne. Of course his new siblings were busy a lot but he knew that they were confused by him. Even Cass who went by body language was confused because of his inhuman mannerisms. But the thing he knew they were most confused about was that there was a section of the manor he absolutely refused to go near. It’s not his fault that he was part ghost and could see what was really going on there. Not that they knew about the half ghost part of his life.
I’m just imagining that sudden switch, like, everyone in the League has taken a call from Amity Park at some point. They’ve had daily calls for years now, there’s no way that they haven’t. So there’s this collective realization of every single league member, at the same exact nanosecond, realizing all of a sudden, that: “why were we ignoring those distress calls?! They called so many times!” And they all panic, because clearly something was going on here. Someone had to’ve cursed the town. There’s no other explanation for it. Why else would they have all had this realization at the same time? Why are we realizing this now? Is Amity Park ok? Did the town get destroyed, thereby lifting the curse?
I saw the idea that Wes Weston, everyone's favorite fan character, has the curse of Cassandra and no one will believe any of his "visions." Since I have been on a DCxDP AU kick lately, I feel the desire to combine this.
So, the reason the justice league never came to answer any of amity park's distress calls? It is because Wes made a call for help at the very beginning, before he even knew about his curse. The curse took hold and every message after that one was dismissed as a joke by the league.
It is only when something or someone breaks the curse that the league collectively realize they have been ignoring thousands of aid requests for years.
yess! It would be so interesting putting his talents into like, creating non-deadly escape rooms, or creating Indiana Jones-esc stories with all the temple riddles and puzzles for the hero to solve. 🤩
I feel like if Danny ever moved to Gotham he would get mugged way too often. He’s got his ghost sense to warn him of supernatural dangers, but he’s got nothing for living beings.
So I’d imagine the trio would make a joke out of it after the first few times.
“Gimme your money and no one gets hurt!”
Danny just looks the robber up and down and then starts snickering.
“You think this is funny kid?! I’ll gut you here and now!”
The mugger pulls a knife out and steps forward threateningly, Danny doesn’t notice because he’s doubled over in laughter now.
The guys kinda unnerved but he lunges anyways. Danny ends up with a knife in his side and an unconscious thug slumped beside him.
He snaps a quick selfie and sends it to the chat.
Sam- Another one bites the dust
Tucker- L in the chat for mugger.
Jazz- L
Sam- L
Danny- L
Tucker- Is that the third one this week?
Danny- fourth
Jazz- Wait what’s that on your shirt?
Danny-…
Jazz- Danny what is that.
Danny- A knife!
Jazz- No!
When Selina was pregnant with her's and Bruce's child, she was thinking of settling down and raising the child. But when she had given birth to the boy, someone had broken into the hospital and stolen not only her baby but also other babies had been taken from the hospital. She tried to find out who took her baby boy but couldn't find the perpetrator.
Heartbroken at the loss of her baby, Selina masks her grief with being Catwoman. She doesn't tell Bruce about their baby boy, even after the new boy that goes under the Bats wing. She does treat each new Robin as if they were her own son. She talks to Harley about what had happened when Damian comes into the fold, where she then reveals that she had a baby with Bruce to the man and what happened to their baby after a few sessions with Harley.
Danny is on the run from Amity, from the Fentons, from the GIW, and from Vlad. The Fentons found out about him being Phantom and attacked him. They then teamed up with the GIW to hunt him down. He doesn't want to go to Vlad, as the Fruitloop is slowly becoming more and more crazy to get him to become his son and slowly focusing less and less on Maddie.
He heads to Gotham, as the city spirit, when she was chosen to be part of his court because of her knowledge and power, had told him that he was one of hers, a child born in Gotham to a woman that wasn't Maddie, Catwoman, and that's also how he found out that he's the son of Batman as well, because Lady Gotham gave him that answer as well, but she didn't tell him their real names. He just hopes that his mom and dad will be happy to learn that their son is still (mostly) alive and on his way to them.
And then Danny is caught by the Joker. He couldn't put up that much of a fight as he used up a lot of Ectoplasm escaping the lab he was in. Tucker's family moved away during middle school, and so did Sam's family when the start of high school came, Jazz had returned from college to help him escape the lab he was held in, but had to go back if she wanted to keep the scholarship.
The Batfam was having a family day out in Gotham. Bruce and Selina were engaged and wanted to bond as a family. Then Joker began broadcasting across Gotham.
"Hello Gotham! Today, I have a special guest with me"
The camera panned to a boy tied up in a chair, head hanging low.
"Brucie Boy seems to have forgotten to mention that he has another brat to call his own, so I took it upon myself to inform you all about him!"
When Joker grabbed the face of the boy and showed it to the camera, the entire Batfam tensed. Because the boys face had the features of both Bruce and Selina, the cuts, bruises, and blood on the boys face couldn't hide that fact, and now they need to find the boy to save him from what Joker has planned for their son.
perfect, don't stop. Give Bruce that one more traumatic incident so that he’ll finally go the therapy. 😈
I think Duke should be immortal in the "cannot die" sense and Jason should be immortal in the "cannot stay dead" sense and that they should keep this a secret from everyone including each other. And then they should both get caught in a situation that Absolutely Should Kill Them Instantly, miraculously not die, and then be like:
Like Jason shields Duke from some massive explosion or something, and Duke is horrified because he thinks Jason just pointlessly sacrificed himself for someone who would've been fine anyway - only for Jason to very casually come back from the dead, look at a completely unscathed Duke Thomas, and go, "Hey, what the fuck."
And Duke should look at a freshly revived Jason Todd and be like, "Me what the fuck? No you what the fuck."
And they end up both agreeing to not say a word about this to the rest of the Bats. Which poses issues. Because here you have a pair of unhinged vigilante siblings that do not fear death, that additionally now know they don't have to fear each other's deaths either, both unwilling to give anything less than everything they have to do what they think is right (and/or what they really, really want to).
So. Some things that happen in consequence:
Duke throws Jason off a fifty-story building in pursuit of some shoplifting rich asshole that was caught on camera insulting Duke's favorite metal band and being a classist fuck about it. This does, incidentally, re-traumatize Nightwing, who was ten feet away and not prepared to see his little brother yeeted off the side of a building, no grapple in sight - but it also traumatizes the shoplifter when Jason lands right in front of him, grotesquely knits himself back together, and rises from the ground in a distinctly horrifying fashion just to beat the shit out of him. So Duke takes the win.
Jason shoots Duke in the head to get him to stop shining light in his eyes in the middle of a gunfight. He does stop, but only because Batman shows up out of nowhere, and now Duke gets to pretend to be grievously injured while Batman yells at Jason about "self-control" and "maturity" and "putting teammates at risk." Meanwhile Duke is playing up this horrible concussion that he doesn't even have. Jason is seething. (Duke gets checked out at Leslie's. They convince her to lie for them by appealing to her inner petty bitch.)
Jason gets his payback a few months later by poisoning himself at an undercover op and subsequently forcing Duke to drag his dead body around a mob-owned nightclub for like half an hour trying to convince seasoned criminals that this brick shithouse of a man sprawled awkwardly across his back is just... really wasted. Totally not a corpse.
Both Jason and Duke get caught in many, many, many explosions after that initial reveal, and it's always terrifying for the rest of the Bats. It gets to a point where Batman refuses to partner Duke and Jason together for literally anything, because they always act fucking insane. Big metal vehicle moving hundreds of miles an hour towards an unsuspecting civilian? That's okay! Jason will just throw Duke in front if it. Unknown, volatile substance potentially being used by a notorious serial killer to murder his victims? No lab testing required! Duke will just pour a whole pint of the stuff on Jason's bare arm to see how it reacts. Bomb that can't be disarmed? Why wait for backup when these two psychopaths can just grab the thing and jump into the harbor? Like, genuinely. The stress. Bruce is one particularly traumatic incident away from actually considering therapy.
I agree, and absolutely could not let this addition go unnoticed.
Danny is a homeless kid in Gotham. He lives in Red Hoods' territory. His nickname is Numbers. A couple of kids learned he was good with numbers and quizzed him, and he got them all correct, hence Numbers. Danny loves living in Gotham, well as much as a 15-year-old homeless kid whose parents hate his existence can.
Danny is one of the kids who, when they find out info about people going against Red Hoods' rules, will report them to him. Tonight is one of those nights. Danny had learned someone sold drugs to a kid in the Alley. Danny made sure to retrieve the drugs from the kid, Stiches, and made sure the kids' friend, Patches, looked after him. cause even if Stitches wasn't able to take the drugs before Danny stepped in, the psychological damage of almost relapsing is tough, especially for a kid that couldn't be older than 12.
So Danny is on the lookout for Hood when he sees a group of people on top of a building, one of them being Batman. Danny knows that while not published Hood is connected to the Bat.
Danny scales the building and sees that its the Justice League and Batman.
Danny turns to the JL
Danny: do you have permission to be in Gotham?
Without giving them time to answer he turns to Batman
Danny: Did you give them permission? Or do you need help getting the Just Losers outta here?
Green Lantern (Hal): wha? huh, Kid?
Batman cracks a barely there smile, unnoticed by everyone, at the JL being called Just Losers.
Batman: they are allowed. Now kid what do you need?
Danny: I have info for Hood and I know you bats are all connected.
Batman gets Hood on coms.
Hood: *in Bruce's ear, but still heard by Danny* what do you want old man I'm busy.
Batman: hn a kid is here asking for you.
Danny: tell him it's Numbers
Hood: oh shit what's he got for me this time.
Danny: *tells Bats the situation* should I give the drugs to Batman?
JL in the background horrified to learn so much about Gothams' underground. (like this shit doesn't occur in their cities too)
Batman: yes I will make sure they get back to Hood so he can test and deal with them.
Danny: Cool cool
Danny does a drug deal with Batman.
Danny: so why are the Just Losers here?
Danny dislikes the JL, they never helped Amity. Dannys has gotten better with the bats thanks to Hood.
Danny: is it for the outsider setting up shop in the warehouse by the docks? With the sketchy af alien tech?
I also love this plot thread, and hope i gets another part. I absolutely had to share. 😁
Jack Fenton answered.
Jack Fenton sounds so much like Bruce at first listen if someone is tired and emotionally wrecked that Dick started going on his tangeant, pleading to come home.
Jack Fenton doesn't mind more kids at all! Neither does Maddie!
Jack tells him to come home and gives him the address to Fentonworks, and gets the guest room set up and ready to go.
Dick, finally arriving three days later, still sleep deprived and not all there, stares at the blimp on the building and starts to think he may have dialed the wrong number.
He doesn't have time to cry and go back, though, because Jack and Maddie Fenton whirlwind their way out the door and corral him into his new bedroom, treating him like he's always been their son and he's just been gone for awhile.
And Dick...Dick needs this. He's three steps from a mental breakdown, can't think past two sentences worth of planning, and he hasn't slept in who knows how long. He can regret later, right now, he'll take it.
He allows them to tuck him into bed, allows himself to fall asleep, and leaves the freaking out to a more awake him.
Danny, meanwhile, is having a little chat with a few of the ghosts that regularly follow Dick Grayson, and goes invisible and intangible to just...fly over to where this guy had been and steal the info he was after.
Because holy shit, that dude looks like he needs a break.
Or: Dick gets adopted as an adult by the Fentons instead of Bruce, and gets a really weird support network.
