It was just a normal patrol as Oracle was informating the batfam about the whereabout of Riddler's new hideout after he brought nearly four dozen suspicious boxes.

Then came the unfamiliar male voice in the coms.

"Hey honey, do you want almond raspberry babka no-

Oracle's coms immediately cut off.

It would be 26 minutes after the batfam finished patrol and spam nearly 5 dozen messages in the collective Robin chat before Oracle's com came back on.

"Who's with you, Oracle?"

"Father, she is obviously compromised after the coms cut off early."

"I'd been trying to find her location on the Batcomputer, but it's keep glitching out!"

"First of all, I am not compromised, Two, I forgot to take speaker voice off, and Three, who he is isn't none of your business. I mean It, if I catch any of you trying to dig into this, then I'm pulling all the embarrassing blackmail materials I have on all of you." Oracle hissed in the coms with words that swear she will do it. The sound of soft munching could be heard.

"Soo, how good is that almond raspberry Babka worth cutting off coms for?"

"....."

"I'll send the recipe to Alfred, but no digging, That means you Dick, Tim and Bruce, and Cass you better not help them out." Oracle spoke a bit softly before cutting off coms for the night.

"Oh, hunny~" Bab said softly, looking down with a smile that sends shivers down his back that promised pain.

"Ymhnzs?" Danny muffled voice could be heard as he was still in a headlock, his mouth covered by her hand as he was bend awkwardly that shouldn't be possible for a a very tall guy's back to bend in a way with the tray once almost full batch of freshly baked Almond Raspberry Babkas.

"What had I told you about coming in during my night hours~?" Babs said sweetly if it weren't for the arm nearly choking hold she had on his neck as she uncovered his mouth.

"Not allowed unless you're finished with work or Dante got stuck in your spare wheelchair again.." Danny quietly said with his face flushed.

"You're unconsciously becoming like your Dad, but at least he texted me before breaking down my wall to show me your baby pictures again."

"B-b-but, honey you ar-

"No buts, you're sleeping in the couch for tonight or in the thermos until next week until I figured out how to make the correct diversion to trick the bats, now make your choice now considering the babka asba bribe for a lesser punishment."

"Well~?"

Danny pouted, his pointed ears droop down with his eyes all wide but he knew the Jack fenton puppy eye look isn't going to save him now from his wife's wrath.

Why am I suddenly picturing a Danny that doesn’t need to sleep because of his ghost half and is seen near constantly, and inconsistent times because of it. He becomes the cryptid Taxi in town-

Now I need a fic where Danny Phantom is an uber driver and has to deal with the batfam ordering him around town, chase scenes, maybe even an intangible moment

One of them yelling, “DRIVE DRIVE DRIVE” maybe killer croc or a big bodied bad chasing after the car (manbat?)

The tips he’d get, but also the complaints because these mfs keep bleeding into the seats

(A scene where he drives into the cave while a bat is knocked tf out in his back seat, drops them off in the med bay, and drives out like a ghost car)

2 Dracma

There’s so many prompts where Danny gets kidnapped instead of a Batfam member or visa versa. Usually by a random group of ransomers or the GIW.

Give me the most buckwild kidnapping reason that isn’t that.

Two-Face mistook Dick for Danny and Danny owed him $22 from a bet over five years ago.

Danny gets kidnapped instead of Brucie Wayne even though Bruce is very publicly at an event multiple states away. (The kidnappers aren’t too bright)

Plastic Man (pretending to be Bruce Wayne. Most likely because Batman needed both Bruce Wayne and Batman in the equation and Plastic Man was able to Body double and be there the fastest) Danny wrong place and wrong time happened to be near Plastic Man as he intentionally was jumped by members of a new gang in Gotham. The gang members, connecting very loose dots, take Danny as well as Plastic Man to an undisclosed location (this was intentional by Plastic Man to find out where the new gang operates, the kid wasn’t a part of the plan but hey! Winging it can be just as fun as a plan going perfectly (Batman is nearly yelling Plastic Man to stick to the plan and to not deviate))

Tim doesn’t even remotely look the same as Danny. This one (incredibly reckless, especially for Gotham) Bounty Hunter keeps on trying to bring him in for escaping an extradimensional prison and causing a riot???

one day, Sam and Tucker finally get tired of all of this and are just like: Danny, you’ve only been dead for 2 years, quite treating us like your children! *angy wittle bby ghost pout* And the rest of the ghost just freeze and go: wait, we’ve been fighting ghost bby? None of these are an adult? We’ve tried to destroy ghost bby?! And he’s ghost hunters child?! They try to kill him every fight?!

Danny may be a Ghost Baby who feels like an Anicent, but his friends don't.

SO, we all know the Ghost Baby Headcanon by now right? The idea that Danny is literally a Toddler by Ghost Standards, but because of how powerful he is everybody else believes that he is an Ancient or a God who is hogging the Mortal World to himself.

But what about his friends?

They were right there when the Portal opened. No Hazmat Suits, no Cover, no Protection from the Dimension of Pure Energy that had just been opened right in front of them.

That has to have some kind of Side Effects!

And actually, we do know of a Character who was just standing in front of a Portal when it opened and still got affected by it. Vlad.

While Danny was turned into a Halfa instantly, his friends would be more similar to Vlad in that they are slow to transform.

It takes weeks, but eventually they become mini-halfas themselves. Except they didn't have an entire Dimension of energy pushed into them upon fully forming, so their Ecto-Signatures actually feel like the babies they are supposed to be.

So imagine this from the Ghosts perspective.

They meet this guy called Phantom, a Halfa who is Extremely Powerful, but nobody has seen him in centuries. He was known as a very powerful Protector Spirit for millennia, randomly showing up across history, but always helping others. And then he just vanished one day, not seen again for centuries.

Until recently, when he showed in the Mortal World, stopping any other Ghost from fulfilling their Obsessions with Humans. And by his side are 2 smaller Halfa's that feel like they must have barely formed. You can see where this is going.

They think Sam and Tucker are Danny's children.

It makes sense! A Powerful Ancient, known for protecting people, suddenly disappears for centuries and then shows up again with 2 baby Halfa's in tow? That sounds like a Protector Spirit who lost his will to fight, decided to settled down in the Mortal Realm, and then found out that 2 baby Halfa's were formed when a Portal was opened!

He isn't selfishly holding the Mortal Realm to himself! He's protecting the Fledgling Haunt of his 2 Babies! They must still have living Family, that's why he is so adamant that they don't hurt the Civilains in their battles!

Now they just feel like assholes for attacking the Baby's dad when he was just trying to protect their stuff.

Danny finds this both extremely infuriating, and also agonizingly hilarious.

No matter the time of year there's always a fandom event going on

Green green green. Nothing but an endless sea of green. No haunts, no islands, no portals. Nothing except for the lonely ghost boy filled with regret. Not from what he did. Danny had no choice but to destroy the portal. And even if he had known the shock wave would blast him to this unknown part of the zone, he'd still do it. No, this regret was from so much more. It was from not saying 'I love you' one last time. It was from not savoring his youth. It was from fixing that stupid portal. So, so much regret. And an eternity of green to stew in it.

Wait. What's that? Is that... a portal?

Yes! It is!

A natural portal spawning before his very eyes only a few feet away. Danny would have wept if he hadn't exhausted his tear ducts long ago. Instead he drifts over to the portal, stopping just before he enters it. He's filled with hesitation. Natural portals are unpredictable. It could spit him out into an acid pit or in the middle of a war. There wasn't even a guarantee he would land in his own dimension. But... wasn't it better than here? Wasn't whatever was through this portal better than the green infinity he was currently trapped in, no matter how unpredictable?

Danny took a deep breath. And then another. Screw it. He plunged himself into the portal, embracing whatever chaos that would receive him from this unending sea of green.

Danny gets adopted a lot

Danny travels a lot, always looking for the best places to see the stars and dealing with ghost shenanigans and lot of people think this poor sleep deprived kid needs help and before he knows it he’s been adopted.

His parent don’t mind and actually love the fact that so many nice people care about their son so much they decide to adopt him.

Of course they add them to the rotation of adults in charge of reminding him to eat and sleep, and keep a close eye on him.

None of the heroes that adopted him are aware that they are one of many. Not until the Fentons send out a parent network message informing them that Danny would be going to another dimension for awhile and not to worry his grandfather Chronos will make sure he’s eating daily

The heroes end up joining a an adopter anonymous group

(Sam and tuck have a betting pool on who will adopt hm next while jazz takes this opportunity to psychoanalyze loving super heroes)

The fact that not only Jason, but all of the batkids willing marched through the portal right behind him has to be the biggest slap in the face that Batman could have ever gotten. 😏 Also, love a sweet mama Talia, and it’s so precious here. 🥰 Loved this take on it, and also, imagine the future consequences. Not only do you have the first wave of loss, but you also have the impact of now, as soon as someone becomes death touched, a green portal opens, beckoning them home. No more time to say your goodbyes, once they are touches by death, that’s it, it’s time to go. The population of the living dimentiln slowly dwindles as death takes them home sooner, and the world continues to mourn and grieve their loss.

July 22: Illustrious

The Justice League are well known for their heroic acts and overall saving the world. Them eradicating ectoplasmic beings (aka ghosts) was seen no different, as it was classified by many organizations and governments for ghosts to be a threat needing to be rid of. The general public also congratulated the JL for continuing to do what was the best for the world they live on, seeing ghosts as an intrusive species of sorts.

Now, how did the Justice League permanently get rid of ghosts? They captured the well-known leader of said ghosts, having multiple sources saying that it was the problem for the ghosts, or Danny Phantom. Then they interrogated the ghost, which are known to be malevolent and good actors/liars, and decided that the best course of action was to just make a deal for Phantom to take it's ghosts back where they belong and shut down the portal that Phantom admitted was allowing them in OR be forcefully done so to any extent including violence.

After all, ectoplasmic beings didn't belong in their universe and cause problems, even if their leader tried to contain them. There was plenty of evidence and science from funded government branches and organizations stating ghosts to be malicious and completely non-sentient. Why wouldn't the Justice League properly get rid of them and save the world once again?

Excuse me Ras, I have a question. How do you expect to gain an hair from Tim if you’re having two boys marry? I mean, unless we’re going with trans-Danny here, but like, I don’t know, it always feels weird to me when people expect trans men to just like, be perfectly ok and comfortable with carrying a child like that??? Cause like, I don’t know, but I feel like that would be very degrading or like, dysphoric. I imagine this wouldn’t apply to everyone, of course, but I feel like it would be very rude to just, assume-

Tim Drake’s Worst Nightmare: Ra’s al Ghul’s Matchmaking Skills

It started with a mission.

Tim hadn’t expected to be sent after a new ghost anomaly, much less one that was human-shaped and strangely familiar. But when he found himself face-to-face with Danny—a teenager who radiated Lazarus energy like it was his second skin—things got weird. Fast.

Cue the League of Assassins bursting onto the scene, followed by a dramatic entrance from none other than Ra’s al Ghul himself.

And that’s when Tim learned the big, world-shattering truth: Danny was Ra’s al Ghul’s son. Not adopted. Biological.

“You’ve got to be kidding me.”

Tim stood, slack-jawed, watching Ra’s beam with the kind of pride usually reserved for conquering cities. Danny, standing awkwardly next to him, scratched the back of his neck.

“Yeah, so, uh… surprise?” Danny offered.

Ra’s spread his arms wide. “Timothy! This is a joyous day. My son, Daniel, has found you at last.”

Tim blinked. “Found me?”

Danny shuffled nervously. “Uh, yeah. You’re kind of… important to the family now.”

Tim’s brain short-circuited.

The Heir Situation

Because here’s the kicker: Ra’s had been trying to get Tim to join the League for years. He saw Tim as a potential heir. But now, with Danny in the picture, Ra’s had an even better idea.

“Through Daniel,” Ra’s explained, practically glowing, “I can finally bring you into the family as I always intended.”

Tim pinched the bridge of his nose. “I am not marrying into the League of Assassins.”

Danny choked. “Wait, what?!”

Ra’s nodded sagely. “I see you are both shy about it. No matter! Destiny has a way of unfolding as it should.”

Tim and Danny exchanged horrified glances.

Danny and Tim’s Relationship

Despite the chaos, Danny and Tim clicked. Danny was chaotic but genuine, a refreshing contrast to the constant stress of Gotham. And Tim? Tim was the most grounded person Danny had ever met.

“You know, you don’t have to listen to Ra’s,” Tim pointed out after one particularly tense League encounter.

Danny shrugged. “Yeah, but if I don’t humor him, he gets pouty.”

Tim snorted. “Ra’s al Ghul? Pouty?”

“You have no idea.”

The Batfamily’s Reaction

When Tim brought Danny back to Gotham, the batfam had questions.

Bruce: “He’s… Ra’s’ son?”

Tim: “Yep.”

Jason: “And you’re… what, his fiancé now?”

Tim: screaming internally

Danny: “I’M RIGHT HERE.”

Damian, eyes wide: “Uncle?”

Danny grinned. “Hey, kiddo.”

Damian, flustered: “I—no. This cannot be.”

Ra’s Is Thrilled

Back in Nanda Parbat, Ra’s couldn’t be happier. Every time Tim showed up, Ra’s looked like Christmas came early.

Ra’s: “Timothy, you and Daniel are a perfect match.”

Tim: “In what universe?”

Danny: “Technically, several.”

Danny Was Happy.

That was the problem.

Tim might hate making Ra’s happy, but… Danny was different.

Danny liked being part of the League. He liked the structure, the weird family dynamic. He liked the purpose. And he was thriving.

Tim couldn’t ruin that.

Tim didn’t want to make Ra’s happy—he’d rather swallow glass—but he did want to make Danny happy.

And if that meant putting up with Ra’s al Ghul’s matchmaking schemes, well…

Tim gritted his teeth and endured.
