Chapter 1-'𝘜𝘯𝘦𝘹𝘱𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘦𝘥 𝘌𝘯𝘤𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘳'

Pi accepted their rejection and gave up on making friends like them. He could do anything but be fake, his life was bad enough on its own. It was more important to be a human than pretend what was being done was 'entertaining'. Adding them in his life would make things worse.

It's important to focus on what you are than bother judging them for what they do. It never ended his trouble, but he sleeps at night satisfied that he had two people waiting in the house that loved and cared about him the most.

He doesn't need friends asking for free treats and showing off money, leeching off greedily only to abandon soon when no benefit was seen.

Or friends who were fake, laughing at his back. Worshipping him when he was of use and throwing him around when word was done.

A face was so familiar and unexpected that his heart skipped three beats at once. Then started ponding furiously again on his chest. Could anybody look cute with glasses? Surely, right now, someone did.

For a minute, he blacked out. Like ice-cold water dumped over him on a warm and sunny day.

If someone asked Mork what amount of time could've prepared him for such a face then there were no words to answer, cause there wouldn't be.

Someone who had been in his thoughts so frequently before he forgot the fading memory.
