Just wanted to say that originally SJM had Lucien & Nesta together. That means Elain was already paired with either Azriel or Cassian. She said that once Cassian & Nesta were in the same room they became the obvious pairing thus changing a lot of characters in Prythian’s future to shift. I think Azriel & Elain were always going to be together but now the obstacles include Lucien.

Loved to get people’s opinion on this.
