So I just tend to avoid them in general lolol… you’re free to head canon any one of these babs with whatever race you have in mind though, they’re all adults besides puddles and klay, klay is a kitten a baby awww….

this is an appreciation post for some of the tsbs voice actors!!

davis - their range and fluidity is extremely impressive. there's something amazing about being able to play so many characters and have all of them feel like distinct, well-rounded *people*. i'm also frequently impressed by how smoothly they can switch between voices, especially as the mimic! such care and attention to detail, and i have to call out ruin in particular for being a stunning performance.

reed - it's sometimes hard to remember that moon, lunar, and the creator are all played by the same va. they're all so incredibly distinct. their performance as the creator deserves some recognition i think - it takes some skill to make a character inspire that much hatred. not to mention they're hilarious.

kat - their acting as earth has nearly brought me to tears on many occasions. also, it has to be said that their writing for earth is incredible. beautiful. heart-wrenching. they've created one of the most realistic and heartfelt characters i've seen in a long time.

matt - i'm so impressed by the mimic and the way matt and davis flow through different voices. it's incredibly cool and i can't remember ever seeing anything like that done before, especially in one take like i'm assuming they record it. imo the speed of matt's improvement in skill over the past year+ is almost more impressive than the voice acting itself. i also literally fall more in love with puppet every time she's on screen.

(Thoughts on the redesign below)

-I tried to simplify his color palette I really did

-the anime shirt was a gift from the anime watchers ™️ (he still has his capelet don’t worry)

-Ballora noticed it was a little big on him (it slipped down his shoulder a bit but he’d be damned if he didn’t appreciate a gift from new friends) and made him a lil spaghetti strap to help

-The bow was tied up so it wouldn’t be a hazard during “general maintenance” tasks. Also part of the reason why the skirt was shelved

-I couldn’t decide which anime to put on the shirt so use your imagination. Maybe it changes every day. Or it’s just a shirt that says anime on it idk that’s probably funnier

-slippersss EDIT I JUST NOTICED THE COLORS ARE SWITCHED :( ignore that

-Victorian-woman-flashing-a-bit-of-ankle length pants because I think it’s cute
