*sobbing profusely* THEY ARE BROTHERS, YOUR HONOR. AND THEY LOVE EACH OTHER VERY MUCH, THEY JUST HAVE THE COMMUNICATION SKILLS OF A WET NOODLE
Hello everyone
Help me and my family get more out of life
My name is Mahmoud Morshed, born on June 26, 1996, when the light of the world shone in Gaza, Palestine. I studied in elementary, middle, and high schools dreaming of becoming a prominent legal consultant, a dream that came true as I pursued law at university and completed a Master's in Criminal Law. Currently, I am a doctoral researcher in the same field.
I dreamt of having my own office where I could help people with their problems and secure their rights. However, war had other plans.
Then came October 7th, a day that brought us closer to death than ever before, marking us all among the dead. I used to feel safe in my home, going to work every day, until the war consumed our bodies, destroyed our lives, and left us as living dead. The Israeli occupation completely destroyed my office and my home within the first three days of the war. We received a call from the army demanding we evacuate within 60 seconds, leaving behind all our belongings, personal documents, and everything essential for life. Our home was utterly destroyed.
We fled to an area the army claimed was safe. During our escape in a large vehicle with many others, a nearby car was targeted, narrowly sparing us from certain death. We ended up living in southern Gaza (Nuseirat), on barren land devoid of life's necessities—no food, water, trees, or shelter.
At that time, we managed to set up a plastic tent to shelter from the freezing winter cold and rain showers. On November 16, 2023, I was injured in the left side of my back by a cluster of burning shrapnel from a phosphorous rocket that fell on the piece of land where I was living. The army ordered us to evacuate to another area again, so we moved to Zawaida, where the occupation bombed the neighboring house next to the tent we had pitched, saving us for the second time.
We then moved to Rafah, where we lived with over 300 families on a piece of land no larger than 500 square meters. There was no clean water, no healthy food, and none of life's essentials
Today, I am in Khan Younis after the occupation fully entered and took over Rafah. I am living on the beach in a plastic tent, using seawater for bathing, washing, and drinking. We lack even the most basic food, not even flour to make bread. I have lost over 37 kilograms, and my health is deteriorating.
My dream and hope are that you can help me escape even slightly from this inevitable death, just a hair's breadth away. Please read my story and truly imagine with me—I mean really imagine—that I cannot even provide my mother with a piece of dry bread.
I humbly seek your support.
Thank you all.

I’m Anas Basil, a recent high school graduate with dreams of a brighter future through studying e-business management and building a career. But the war has shattered everything. After graduating with a 93% average, I enrolled at Khan Younis Training College (UNRWA), only to find that it’s now a shelter for displaced families instead of a place for education.
My younger brother, Ahmad, 14, is known as the "Doctor of the Future" because of his extraordinary talent in mathematics. However, the war has kept him out of school for two consecutive years. Ahmad is also a gifted football player who used to win tournaments, but the war has taken that away from him too.
The war forced our family to flee to Rafah, where we lived in a tent for several months. Every day is a struggle for survival—fetching water, gathering wood, and making a fire.
🎯 We are seeking €29,000 to:
- Secure safe passage out of Gaza and cover education fees to help us pursue our dreams.
- Provide Basic Essentials—food, clean water, and medical supplies—to support our family’s day-to-day survival in Gaza.
Every donation, no matter the amount, brings us one step closer to our goal.
With gratitude,
Anas & Ahmad

Eid al-Adha is sad for the children 😢
Last Eid, my children felt very happy as they lived the Eid atmosphere with all its details.
Today they spend this Eid in tents, without games, entertainment places, television, food, and sweets.
We ask you to help them return to their normal lives before the war, as you are their great hope.

follow @safaabed8 and @abedalazeiz verified by 90-ghost note: safaa + her family has had to make multiple accounts- they have all either been suppressed/terminated (this is also why the verification/reblogs from ibtisams/heba-20 no longer have working links)
dear moots/lovely lurkers,
i am not sure how to start this- what iteration of words will move a kind stranger to action or convince another that this passage is worth the five minutes it'll take to read it
would you be inclined to learn just how a body shuts down after being malnourished for so long? or what lengths families must go to in order to survive? perhaps a retelling of the rising temperatures-- how everything from the contaminated water they drink to the dirty pillows they lay on is hot will be enough
do you need me to lay it out so plainly that your stomachs churn and your eyes well up with tears? are you waiting to feel that pang inside your chest- the one that screams "enough is enough." do you look at safaa's beautiful family and think they deserve more?
would you still feel that way even if i told you nothing at all?

safaa's family has managed to raise just short of 50% of their goal (€24,809 / €50,000)- campaigns require a sustained, collective effort for them to be successful. more importantly, the onus is on the rest of us to uplift stories the world will do anything to suppress. please don't leave them unheard-- donate if you can, share so others may help as well

Now that I have your attention...
My other posts on Nader's campaign got traction which is great but have since slowed and I want to clarify something: funds on GoFundMe CANNOT be accessed until the goal is reached, and GoFundMe also takes a percentage of them. Basically these situations look more promising than they are. So really there's no time to give up.
This campaign is organized by Abdul Salam Al-Anqar who has a 1 year old daughter suffering malnutrition as well as seven other family members. Their home and places of employment have been destroyed.
Can you match my donation of €10 today? Share in replies if you can.
Or, if not, at least share the post, not only on tumblr but other social media platforms.
