having a rough evening and processing my emotions by writing impromptu jibyeok hurt/comfort in my notes app
I love writing sae-byeok because even in a fluffy context she’s still (mostly) cool and collected from external POVs and then her own POV is an opportunity to explore her more vulnerable side, the insecurities she still feels, and how experiences from her past have affected her
I love writing stories where she gets to be happy 💗
a thought:
in S1 E2 they vote to end the games, right? gi-hun and sang-woo hang out a bit, ali goes back to work, sae-byeok sees her brother…
what does ji-yeong do?
she mentions having been recruited straight out of prison, and we know she has nothing to her name and nowhere to go. she tells sae-byeok as much.
she probably slept on the streets, waiting, cold and hungry and alone, and might even have been relieved when the car showed up to take her back.
I regret to inform you all that after consulting with a friend I WILL be adding a doomed lesbian to this fic, in keeping with the traditions of this series
ok squid gang help me out here!!
I’m planning a fic set during a hypothetical future edition of the games, which means I need to come up with a new cast of characters to interact with the existing ones who’ll be involved
can anyone think of any believable reasons why people would be joining the game, which haven’t already been done repeatedly? I’m trying not to inadvertently copy canon characters but there are only so many ways I can think of to get into vast amounts of debt
I’ve got a couple of ideas but if anyone feels creative and has any thoughts please let me know!!
also now I’m thinking about it what if I published the fic and her blog concurrently in real time with the timeline of the games
the url I’m considering for my OC is available 👀
Hey, don’t cry. You can log onto the computer and talk to other gay people about The Characters okay??
