i’ve seen the behind the scenes of the tug of war game where the actors, ljj included, couldn’t even get one word out between takes because they were too exhausted to speak. but ljj thought the last game (squid game) was even more difficult. wonder if it was because the emotional aspects (fighting sang-woo) of the game? and if it’s true, wonder what kind of emotional scenes we will see in the very last game? ㅠㅠ
Do people care if u get inspired by other polls.... Anyway the red/blue poll I see going around is nice but I found that I associate my friends with all sorts of colors so. here

update; her name is gonna be min chae-yeong and she’ll go by min for short
this is great because both ‘yeong’ and ‘min’ can mean jade spending on the hanja used, and that’s an important part of her theming and design. ‘min’ can also mean ‘clever’ or ‘agile’, both of which also suit her
squid game fic readers, how many characters with -yeong at the end of their given name is too many?
my upcoming WIP features gi-hun’s daughter ga-yeong as the main POV. I have an OC who I’ve been trying to find a name for, and research has given me the name chae-yeong which for a number of reasons fits her perfectly, but she’s going to be part of the core trio with ga-yeong and I worry it’ll be confusing to keep up with
do koreans ever go by the first part of their name only? we call sae-byeok ‘sae’ but is that a westernism or is it actually the done thing? because I could introduce the character and then shorten her name to chae immediately
Idk gang anyone have any thoughts
this is now a fic I’m planning as something to work on!
I’m not going to do pre-game because we know enough about that (she was recruited straight out of prison) but I am gonna explore all of her time between the ‘leave’ vote and her return to the games all the way up to her final scene in E6
basically this is gonna be the entirety of ji-yeong’s time in the games (or most of it) from her POV
I just had a thought; how did ji-yeong survive the night time brawl/“special game”? she wasn’t in gi-hun’s team at that point so she must have either hid or fought solo, right?
personally I think she wouldn’t have gone out of her way to kill people but if she was threatened she would absolutely have killed a man
I’m thinking shard of glass rather than bludgeoning someone with a metal bar. girlie’s already proficient with sharp objects
alternate take because suffering is fun: curled up under a bed in the foetal position with her hands over her ears waiting for it to be over

People are sleeping on familiar/platonic relationships when it comes to media in favor of romantic/sexual ones and it's so sad. Why can't we have both? Why are the platonic relationships pushed aside?
