Part of me wonders if this was done to be symbolic. Obviously he’s stunned here, being thrown across a roof into a pane of glass and nearly falling off a building will do that to you, but the way he lays there looking down at the city, half-on half-off the roof almost seems symbolic in a way. Especially since he was so depressed throughout Vendetta and we know he’s been suicidal in the past. This was probably the moment when he thought “how much longer can we keep going on like this” ‘cause he realized that was almost it for him right there.
