It's funny that fanfiction is considered a lesser form of literature because "anyone of any skill can write and post it" as if the same doesn't apply to regular books. Any rich asshole with too much free time and an underpaid ghost writer can slap anything they want on the market, and this was the case well before fanfic and webnovels were getting published.
