I've been sitting on this one for days I'm so excited to post fahdsghdgls. Day 18 for TMNTember: Turtle Tots!!! I just think about how Splinter may have done like, SOME cursory knowledge on turtle care prior to buying them, but once they were. Actual INFANTS. it became a lot more important to know the specifics HFKSAHGHSG. while ALSO having 4 shockingly-agile newborns to deal with.
Closeup of his face bc I put so much detail into making his face all scrunchy bc Mikey is pulling on his whisker and you can barely even see it XD

TW!: SWEARING!
The disaster twins were seated in the kitchen, Leo watching over Donnie's shoulder as Bluey played on his phone. It was an episode about a little delivery game, Bingo and Bluey making mud pizzas. At one point, Muffin had strictly demanded that no mud enter her car, and then proceeded to accelerate at rapid speeds once her cousins were inside, catching Donnie off-guard.
"Pfffahahah!"
Leo had smirked at the scene, but his smile increased ten-fold at the sound his brother let out. "Dohonald, was it reheally that funny?"
The softshell was still cackling, head thrown back in mirth, a surprising noise for the other to hear. "Ihihi'm sorry.. I dihidn't expect thahat!" Leo looked genuinely amused.
"Mahan, you have the best laugh."
Donnie had recollected himself enough to process the comment, giving a slightly confused look at his brother through a residual smile. "What?.."
The slider shrugged, smiling back as he went on. "I dunno, it's just really fun. I don't get to hear it enough." The purple-themed turtle seemed to get a little flustered at that, eyes looking back at the screen. "Ihi- I have no idea what you're talking about.."
"Sure you do! I love your laugh!" The softshell's head shook, and he paused the show, turning to look at his sibling. His face had returned to its neutral state, continuing to try and prove the other wrong. "I don't see what's so great about it. It's just a laugh, Nardo."
The sword-user huffed. "Are you serious? Laughing is what you do when you're happy, and it's the best when you're happy!" He moved his arms in front of him, gesturing with jazz-hands when he said 'happy'.
Donnie's eyes averted at the sight of wiggling fingers, attempting to distract his brother from the topic by unpausing the show, but Leo didn't stop his rant. "..And you're my brother. My twin. All I want to do is see you smile and laugh and- hey, why's your face all red?"
Donnie forced his mouth to stay in a blank position, but he was going into fight-or-flight mode without the other even knowing. At least, he thought he hadn't. In reality, Leo had immediately picked up on the difference of body language, and watched as the other kept looking away every time his hand moved. But all he was doing was moving his fingers around? Or- Oh. So that's what it was.
"Hey, Donnie?" The tech-lover glanced up. "What is it.." Leo readjusted in his chair, letting his leg that was previously resting up at his chest fall to the floor. "I think I just thought of a way to show you how great your laugh is.."
Donnie froze. He wouldn't.. He wouldn't dare.
"No- No no, that won't be necessary!- HAHAH! Leeheee!" The slider had reached over, tweaking the other's side. Donnie had instantly shot his hands down, gripping onto his twin's wrists. "Are you sure? Because you don't seem to see how amazing it is. Just sayin'."
The scientist collapsed in his seat as his sides were clamped down on, quiet laughter forcing its way from his mouth. "Stahahap ihit! Heheh- hohohoOLYHY SHIHIAHAHAT!" Leo had scooted closer, reaching forward ever so slightly and forcing his fingers over his brother's softshell. Donnie reflexively flailed, almost bucking himself onto the ground as he exploded into loud cackles.
"Aw, there it is~ There's that laugh I love so much!" The blue-themed turtle glided his fingers along the sensitive skin, grazing slightly higher. There was a loud shriek, Donnie throwing his head back as his arms clamped down, entire body arched at the crazy feeling. "AAAHAHAHAHAHAH! PLAHA- LEHEEAAHAHAHAH!"
"So! Are you ready to admit the inevitable? Or do you just want to stay here and get tickle-tickle-tickled~" Donnie let out an inhumane screech when the tracing turned into scribbling, eyes tearing up from the force of his mirth. Even so, he was not about to let his least favorite brother win.
"NEEHEHEVEHER! AAH! HAHAH!"
Leo shrugged, watching as his brother lurched forward when the lip of his shell was touched, hunching over the table. Really, this was just too easy! "Oh? Do I get to here moore of your incredible laugh?" He stood up, as Donnie was frantically kicking at his chair's legs, and raked his fingertips down the length of his back.
"NOHOHO, STOHOHOAAAHAHAHAH! WHAHAT THE FAHAAHACK! HAHAH!"
Don threw his head back, laughter going silent before he gasped for air. Leo sighed, but moved to more carefully tickle at his shoulders. The whole point was to be able to hear his laugh, after all.. "Geez, you're laughing a lot. This must really tickle, huh?"
Donnie was thrown back into full-force laughter, curling in on himself, which only left more of his poor shell open for attack. "..hic- LeeHEHEOHO! OKAHAHAHAY, OKAHAHAY! IHIHI- HAHAHAH! IHI GIHIHIHIVE UHUP!"
"Say that your laugh is adorable~"
"IHI AM SOHOHOHO GONNA KIHILL YOHOU! FUHUCK! hic- MYHY LAHAHAUGH IHIS ADOHOHORABLEHE! NOHOW STOHOHOP!
Leo smiled, tickling a little harder, watching as his sibling's eyes went wide, before stopping. He sat back in his chair, giving the scientist some space. "Ihihi.. I hohope you knohow I hahahate youhu.. Soho much." The taller snickered (yes he is taller 😉), grabbing the other's phone that had long since turned off, and unlocked it, resuming the episode of Bluey.
"I mean it though, your laugh is great."
"Pfft- yohou went from 'incredible' and 'amazing', to just great? Ihi am offended."
The slider shook his head fondly. "Yohou know what I mean.."
First week down! Honestly, it's crazy to get so much writing done, but I really hope I can keep my motivation up and get enough time to do everything. Wish me luck I guess?
Also, this was an interesting idea I had, and wanted to explore it a bit. Enjoy!

TW!: MILD SWEARING! ANXIETY FINGER PICKING! (Like, pulling on the skin around your finger, just in case)
THIS HAS SPOILERS FOR LATE SEASON TWO! Just a heads up!
(This is not a ship. These two are SIBLINGS!! Please respect that.)
Why did he feel so.. awkward? Like he can't even have a normal conversation with his brothers, let alone Karai.
Their dynamic had been a bit different ever since.. Miwa?.. found out that she was a Hamato. Having a sister was weird, especially because she was older than them. There were so many things that were missing in their lives, and now they had a chance to make up for it.
Their family had taken a couple days to warm up to each other, but it was difficult for Karai to gain the trust of the younger brothers- especially Raph.
Even so, there weren't as many fights between them as there had been, and Leo had found himself peacefully enjoying their time spent together. More focused, more relaxed..
Except for today.
For some reason, Leo found himself stuttering over his words in front of everyone, using the the wrong moves for training, and even held his katana wrong, the blade facing him. Everyone would give him a weird look, but other than a disapproving comment from Mikey, no one really said anything.
And so he sat on the ground, hoping maybe television would make him feel better. One of the earlier seasons of Space Heroes was on, but even that made him feel weird. Captain Ryan's voice actor sounded so much younger than he would later on, that watching it made him seem incompetent, and inexperienced.
All of the things Leo couldn't be as a leader, and all of the things that no good leader should be. Especially his hero.
"Hey, Leo. I heard you were screwing up a lot today. Guess your 'perfect' act wore off, huh?"
The blue-themed turtle winced, turning around to greet his sister. His hands pulled apart, having been picking at the skin of his fingers, and he gave her a wave. "Uhm- Hey.." There was a slightly pause, but soon enough, she came and sat next to him on the ground. "Did- you want me to pause it?" He asked, head tilted to the tv.
"Nah, I wanna see what kind of nerd show you've been watching. What's it about?" That brought a smile to the younger's face.
"W-Well, it's about this hero, Captain Ryan, and he's the captain of a space ship." He explained, gesturing towards characters as they appeared on the screen. "He and his crew go through space and fight aliens, that- that kind of stuff. It's really cool. Captain Ryan has the best catchphrases like- ever."
Karai nodded, listening to his little spiel for a couple minutes. Eventually, the episode that was playing ended, and Leo started on a whole other rant, and the elder placed a hand on his shoulder to bring him back to real life.
"Hey, woah. Give me a minute, I'm losing track of it all now." Leo cut himself off, bringing his knees up to his chest. "Oh, sorry. I get carried away when it comes to Space Heroes."
The turtle wrapped his arms around his knees. Karai shook her head. "No, you're fine. Just gotta give me time to process what you're saying." She crossed her legs, slouching a bit now. "It's nice to hear about things like shows. Anything interesting, really."
Leo hummed, still feeling a bit embarrassed about going on a tangent. "Did you not watch any as a kid?" she shook her head. "The Shredder didn't want me exposed to things like that. I mainly just trained, or went to talk to friends, or.. was influenced into hatred."
The younger cringed slightly. The Shredder really was awful.. "Yeah.. That makes sense, I guess.." The heavier topic made him feel bad, and he went back to pulling at the skin on his finger. Karai watched for a second, then put her hand on his shoulder to get him to stop. "You shouldn't do that, it could get infected."
Leo huffed, but it.. didn't sound annoyed? More like he was about to laugh. She looked at him, and he quickly went to change the subject. "Uh- so! What.. did you want to do now?"
Her brows furrowed slightly. "I want to know what's so funny. Are you laughing at me for trying to help? That's really low."
By now, the kunoichi had already made the connection, having seen a couple of tickle fights between the brothers within the last couple days of her being here. Leo immediately shook his head, though a smile formed on his face when her hand moved a little, so that it was resting more on the base of his neck.
"No! No no, I'm not laughing at you, I just.. thought of something funny that happened." Karai didn't look impressed. "Oh, really? And what is it that's so funny?" Leo's face went pink as he tried to think of something, shoulders scrunching slightly at the anticipatory touch. Her hand curled into a claw form, fingers digging slightly into the side of his neck and shoulder. "..Or will I have to make you tell me?"
Leo's hand went to grab hers, to pull it away, or something, but he was slapped away. "No, you're going to tell me what you found so funny just now. I want to know." "It's nothing! Really, you won't even care!"
"Then why is it such a big deal to not tell me?" She maneuvered slightly, scooting behind him. One leg propped against his shell, and the other wrapped around his torso. Karai began gently dragging her nails up his neck, and Leo immediately squeaked, shoulders shooting up the rest of the way to protect the sensitive area.
"EEK! Noho- wahait! I cahahan't!" Karai only smirked, reaching her other hand over to carefully pull his head to the side, smushing his cheek into his shoulder so that she could keep tickling. "I'm not letting you go until you tell me. Unless.. maybe you like this?"
Leo frantically squirmed, legs now drumming out on the ground as he tried to arch away. She had him held in place; he couldn't even move his head! He weakly slapped at her leg, face burning brighter by the second. His voice kept breaking, but through his struggles he finally got an idea. He could just pull his head into his shell!
It took a couple seconds of fighting with her hand, but his head successfully retreated inside his shell. Karai looked puzzled for a second, holding onto his shoulders to peer into the hole of his shell. "Wait.. you guys can just.. hide in there? What the hell, that's really useful."
The leader was having trouble stopping his giggles, and shrieked when she dug into his underarms instead. For a second, he flailed, then pulled his arms into the safe space as well, then his legs. "Pfft- Ihi- hehe I cahan't Karahai!"
The elder turner his shell around, grunting with effort because of his weight. "Don't think you've won just yet.." She laid his shell down on the ground, plastron up, and started scratching at his belly. "Are your shells ticklish too?"
As it seemed, they were. Very much so, in fact. Leo screeched, squeaky laughter filling the room as soon as her hands made contact. "BAHAHAHAH! KAHARAI! NOHOHOO! SNRT-"
"Noho way! Did you just snort? You guys are so funny." Leo let out a whine at the tease, unable to do much more than rock slightly, as he was basically immobile.
They were in a stalemate, Karai using her nails to scribble along his plastron, demanding to be told what he found funny, as all the turtle did was laugh and laugh. Well, until she decided to explore more of his shell, and raked her fingers down his sides.
"GHKAHAHAHAH! NAHAH- OKAHAHAY WAIHIT! SNRT- I GIHIHIVE UHUP! PLEHEASE!"
"No, you wait. I told you what you need to do."
"PLEHEASE- I LIHIHIED, IHIHI LIHIED! THEHERE WASN'T AHAHANYTHING FUNNY!"
Karai gasped in mock-offense. "You lied to me? I thought we were supposed to be family, but you lied! You don't deserve to be let go!"
Leo snorted again, spewing out pleas and 'sorry's. She scratched harder at his shell, sending overwhelming tickly sensations through him. On bare skin, it would've been painful, but on the hard exterior of the bridge of his shell, all it did was force the blue-themed turtle into uncontrollable laughter.
"IHI DIHIDN'T MEHEAN TO! IHI'M- SNRT- SAHAHARRY! PLEHEASE!"
Unbeknownst to him, Karai was smiling fondly at his crazed state, though her nails attacked him like he'd just committed an unforgivable crime.
"Sorry Leo, but this is your punishment. I'm going to make sure you never lie to me again."

I thought this would be harder to write, if I'm being honest, but I actually really like it! All of my years of watching 2012 helped me write her dialogue better, I guess. Anyways, happy first week of October! 🎃🌕🪦

YAY! I looove 2012 Leo, and I really hope I was able to do him justice! He is so traumatized, poor child.
THIS IS SET NEAR THE END OF SEASON 4! IF YOU HAVEN'T WATCHED PAST THAT POINT BE AWARE OF SPOILERS!!
Lee! Leonardo
Ler! Master Splinter
TW!: DEPRESSION, FEELINGS OF WORTHLESSNESS (Dw, things get better! 😘)
'Something is wrong with my boys.'
The sad realization hit Splinter with a harsh blow. His children, as he has noticed, didn't have the same spark in their eyes, the same lighthearted goofiness and child-like immaturity they once had- and hadn't for a while.
This was exceptionally noticable in his eldest son, Leonardo. After countless horrors and freakish battles, Leo's face had turned stony, and his personality dry. His brothers were in a similar state, though the grayness in the leader's face couldn't go unnoticed.
This had become more apparent when he had relocated his stack of 'Space Heroes' DVDs to his bedroom, and hadn't taken them out for weeks. All he did in his free time was train, lecture his brothers, or stare off into space, a dull look of shame in his eyes.
Splinter had noticed this, of course. Something so drastic in their energy was very hard to miss, but he had thought it as a maturity settling over them, rather than a deep numbness hanging over their heads.
Something had to be done.
Later that day, his boys had returned home, all irritable and tired. Leonardo had kept his swords on his back, seemingly preparing for another home invasion or something of the sort. They had all eaten, and were scattered about the lair until it was time to go to sleep.
The katana-wielding teen stayed seated on the couch, as he had for many nights, gazing into the distance instead of going to bed. Unbeknownst to him, however, his father was aware of his poor resting schedule, but had left him to his thoughts, knowing that the things he had seen took time to process.
Tonight, though, the turtle seemed more melancholic, picking at the skin of his finger as he sighed. Yoshi peered from the dojo, sensing the upset radiating off of him, and knew he had to act now, before his son's condition grew worse. He stepped out into the wide space of the common room and cleared his throat as to not startle the younger.
"My son, what troubles you?" It seemed his efforts to be unthreatening were futile, as Leo had nearly jumped out of his shell, scrambling to grab his swords with a yelp. Splinter's expression darkened at this, but he was quick to give reassurance.
"It is alright, Leonardo. You are safe." The turtle's shoulders relaxed, and he voiced his relief. "Oh, it's just you, sensei. I'm fine, don't worry about me." His dad shook his head, making his way over to his son and sitting beside him, ears pressed to his head in concern.
"You have given me reason to worry, I am afraid. You and your brothers seem so disturbed, so I thought I would confront you about it." Well, that sure caught him off guard. Leo shrugged, struggling to hold eye contact as he muttered an explanation. "I'm just tired. We all are."
At the quirked brow of his rat father, his walls crumbled.
Leo sighed. "We've just seen so many things.. Things we can't unsee, unhear, or unlive, for that matter." he shook his head sadly. "It makes things hard, Sensei. Really hard."
Splinter's gaze softened. He should have guessed. His children, very early in their years, had seen more than he had in his entire life. They'd been across the world, the universe, heck- they'd even been to different dimensions and stopped wars. It was no wonder they were so void.
Yoshi's heart ached for his child, and he held his arms out to him, which, after a moment of shock and hesitation, was accepted. The eldest son let out an uneven breath, and closed his eyes, enjoying the physical affection he did not receive very often. "I love you, Leonardo, and I am proud."
That sure got the tears flowing. Next thing he knew, the rat father held his weeping turtle son in his arms, holding back tears himself. He rubbed the young boy's scarred shell, allowing him to express himself after putting on a brave face for his family for so long.
Eventually, the teen's tears ran out, and his tight grip on his father's kimoto loosened. The overburdened turtle wiped his eyes, standing from his spot on the couch, followed closely by Splinter. A worried look crept onto his face again. "Sensei, what if I can't protect them.. What if I'm not good enough..?"
"Hmph." His father cut him off before he could spiral into a 'not good enough' mindset. He thought for a moment, eventually asking a question. "Leonardo. A wise man, who I believe went by the name of Ralph Emerson, once said, "The best lightning rod for your protection is your own spine.". What do you think he meant by this?"
Leo blinked, and pondered for a moment, repeating the words to himself until he decided on an answer. "Huh. Well, I know a lightning rod is supposed to protect homes from lightning, and.. I guess our spine represents ourselves as an individual, and it supports us.. I- I guess it could mean that we need to face some things on our own.. and be our own protection!"
He looked up hopefully, and was rewarded with an impressed smile. "Very good, Leonardo. So as you have said, there are some things that you cannot rely on others for, and so they are not responsible for you in that time, yes?"
Understanding flooded over Leo, and he bowed. "Hai, Sensei. I get it now. I cannot worry about my brothers all the time, or they will fail to grow and learn on their own."
"Wehell, you certainly can worry about them. What do you think I do most of the day?" Splinter chuckled. "No, but you must not intervene and take control of their lives in a way that jeopardizes their independence."
The leader in blue smiled, performing another respectful, albeit smaller bow, and listened to more of his father's intel. Well, at least it seemed like intel at first.
"One last thing. There is another saying I know of, this one relevant to young leaders such as yourself.." The smaller looked intrigued, not taking notice of the unusually playful glint in Splinter's eyes, and hardly suspecting a thing when he knelt down to his level to speak. He did however, find himself concerned with the fact that in a blink of an eye, he had been flipped over and lied back down on the couch, his legs under the weight of a 6-foot mutant rat.
Seeing his son so unhappy over the past few months, mental health at a clear decline, had concerned Splinter greatly. He was so used to the bright smiles he wore, and his efforts to be a great leader, though it became more apparent that the latter was overtaking his mind, and he planned to stop that constant strive to be perfect, at least for a little while. "Laughter cures all."
Before the turtle could gasp out a question as to why this was happening, or better yet, what was happening, sharp claws were gently dragging down his plastron. Leo squealed, practically convulsing as soon as the fingers made contact.
"GAHahaha! S-Sensehei, whahahat?-" Leo was in shock. His father, who had so scarcely given approval, or physical affection, had not only hugged him, but had him pinned underneath himself and was tickling him.
It didn't matter whether he processed it or not, as Splinter had dug under his arms, leaving him to screech in mirth, gravelly voice straining with giggles. His father only smirked at him, glad to hear laughter coming from someone who needed it so much.
As young children, the turtles had played various games, chase being one of the most common, and discovered the concept of being 'ticklish' when their father had caught them, picking each up respectively and squeezing their sides a few times before carrying on with the game. After that, they went on a craze, chasing each other around and exploring tickle spots, an activity that carried on throughout the years.
Splinter had found it adorable, watching with a soft look on his face as his children tussled, and was glad to see that over time they hadn't grown out of such a lighthearted thing. It became rarer, yes, but they had something to do that showed they were still just kids, despite their mutated bodies and home in the sewers.
Over the years, as Splinter had noticed, it became obvious that the oldest son was the most sensitive, to which his brothers took great joy in exploiting. A poke to the side was enough to get him giggling, and Yoshi had had to take precautions to ensure that this wasn't used against him during training after losing five times in a row because of it.
A loud snort from the teen pulled him out of his thoughts, a growing pink tinge on his face clashing greatly with his green complexion. Splinter chuckled, using one hand to scribble into his son's neck, clawed fingers proving to be an advantage when he quickly tried to duck his head down, then throwing it back in loud giggles when the back of his neck was targeted.
"My son, I don't believe there is anything funny here. I ask that you explain what you are laughing about." Leo tried to reach up to grab onto his father's wrist, but a taze to his ribs left both of his arms uselessly pressed against his torso, trying to wrap them around himself to protect his more ticklish spots.
His ankles dug into the cushions beneath them, unable to squirm away from the offending fingers as they slid past his defenses, scratching along his belly. "Sehehensei, I- EEK! IHI CAhahan't!"
Splinter smiled fondly down at his child, taking notice in how little he actually tried to stop him, clearly needing to get out of his head for a while. Leo jolted up for a moment, curling over his father's hands before tearing his arms away from himself, opting to grip at the pillows of the couch. He tossed his head to the side, lost in giggles.
Yoshi raised his eyebrows, thoroughly amused at how he opened himself up. He scribbled over the expanse of his plastron, resulting in louder and more frantic giggles. "Oh? Leonardo, are you trying to tell me something?" He tapped at the exposed cartilage of the turtle's sides, having to pause for a moment before continuing, as the boy screeched, flinching away in reflex, before falling into cackles.
"NAHAHAHAH! FAHATHER- AHA! PLEHEASE, IHI-" Words were failing him, barely able to articulate anything before being interrupted by his own snorting. Not that he was trying to protest, or anything. In reality, he was having the time of his life, forgetting his troubles and getting the chance to laugh.
Sure, the gentle tickling was driving him up the wall, but he was enjoying himself. Still, after a couple minutes, his eyes began to droop, still quietly giggling to himself. Splinter took notice of this, and gave him one last squeeze to the sides, before picking the worn out teen up, cradling him as he had many years ago, and brought him to his room.
After gently settling him onto his bed, Yoshi covered the nearly-passed out form with his blanket, and softly held his shoulder. "You are a wonderful leader, and your brothers and I love you."
His consciousness slipping away, Leo responded in a quiet tone. "Thanks.. Father. Love 'ya guys too.." And with that, he fell asleep, a warm smile on his tired face.
Yippee, the sillies! 💙 💙 💙 This is longer than I thought it would be, but I'm not mad! Thank you all for your support, and I hope you enjoyed!

“Leeeoooooooo!!! Come watch TV with meeee…” Mikey whined loudly, resting his head on his eldest brother’s shoulder as the other sat quietly on the dojo floor, meditating.
“I’m obviously doing something here, Mike.” Leo said calmly, trying to concentrate on his meditation.
Which…was kind of hard when his little brother was literally breathing down his neck.
The orange banded turtle huffed, hugging onto his brother’s arm like the clingy koala that he was, “I thought you loved meeee…”
The slightly taller turtle sighed longly, stopping his meditation for a quick second as he opened his eyes, looking down at his brother, “Don’t be ridiculous. You know I love you.”
Mikey smiled at the slightly defensive response, hugging the other’s arm tighter, “If you love me so much then watch some TV with me!!!”
Leonardo fondly rolled his eyes, squeezing the freckled faced teen in a side hug, “I’ll watch TV with you later, okay? I promise.” The blue banded turtle exclaimed as he went back into the sitting position he was in beforehand. He put the both of his hands in his lap, closing his eyes as he tried to concentrate quietly.
Mikey sighed loudly, resting his cheek on his older brother’s shoulder, causing Leo to stiffen slightly. The taller turtle opened his eyes once more, glaring at the other as the smallest turtle just grinned back, batting his eyelashes dramatically.
“Mikey.” Leo hissed.
“Yes~?” The younger sang innocently as his free hand started to squeeze at his big brother’s side. The blue banded teen’s eyes widened, biting back down the laugh that was bubbling in his throat.
The youngest snorted at his brother’s reaction, raising an amused brow, “What’s going on, man? I thought you were concentrated with meditating.”
“I. Am.” The other said through gritted teeth.
“Really? You sure about that, bro?” The younger asked teasingly.
Leo sighed knowingly, cracking his knuckles at he took one more glance at his baby brother.
So this is the way Michelangelo wanted to play? Fine by him.
If he was going to interrupted during his personal meditation/training session, he should at least take what he’s learned to good use, right? Right.
The elder quickly and swiftly got out of the hold the youngest had him in. And as soon as he did, Leonardo pinned his brother’s arms on the dojo floor as he sat on his legs effortlessly.
The orange banded turtle’s eyes widened in panic, his cocky demeanor immediately crumbling as he realized the situation he practically dug himself into.
But the eldest did take notice how his younger brother wasn’t really fighting and/or resisting all that much.
If Mikey really wanted to get away, Leo would’ve gotten punched in the gut right now.
“Waha— wait wait wahait!!!” The smaller turtle squeaked out, kicking his legs behind his brother “C-Cohome ohon— cahan’t we tahalk about thihis first…?”
“I don’t even know why you’re acting so surprised. You knew this was going to happen, Mikes…” Leo said as he couldn’t help but chuckle at his now flustered brother.
“Buhut Ihi— *snort* Leeheeo!!” Mikey whined, shaking his head back and forth repeatedly as his giggles raised an octave due to the fact that his mean brother was wiggling his fingers above him teasingly.
Okay…well on the bright side of things, Leo and him were hanging out now!
Although, them 'hanging out' was just Mikey about to get his shit absolutely wrecked, but hey! Maybe Leonardo would go easy on him…?
I mean, Mikey might be the smallest turtle out of the four, but he was also by far the cutest out of all of them (April definitely said so at one point in time so therefore it’s automatically correct), so Leo couldn’t and wouldn’t be…that malicious, right?
If he would, the youngest would file a restraining order.
“What? You what, Mikey? You saw I was meditating and I said I would watch TV with you later. And yet you still persisted on bothering me.”
“I-Ihi’m *snort* sohORRY, okAHAY?! Juhust pLEHEASE *snort* d-dohon’t—“
“Please what?”
“TIHICKLE MEEHEE!!!”
“Tickle you? Oh, whahat a wonderful idea.” Leo mused as he scribbled his free hand against his little brother’s side. Michelangelo shrieked at the sudden sensation to his sides, squirming and wriggling as he tried to get out of the hold.
“Gehet *snort* oHOFF *snort* OHOF meehee!” The youngest whined loudly through his laughter, kicking his feet on the ground repeatedly.
The eldest turtle huffed out a small chuckle, letting go of both of his brother’s hands and letting them flail around before digging his fingers into his brother’s underarms.
The orange banded teen let out a loud squeal, putting his hands down as he pushed on his brother’s arms, “GOHOH *snort* A-AWAHAHAY!”
“Your snorting already? I’ve barely done anything yet.”
“S-SHUHUT *snort* *squeak* UHUP!”
“Ehexcuse me? What did you just say?” Leonardo asked, ceasing the tickling for a second as him and Mikey rustled and tussled with each other’s arms.
“NONONONOHO— *snort* PLEHEASE DOHON’T!!!”
“Then moohoove your hands, Mike!”
“IHIHI *snort* CAHAN’T!”
“Then you put this upon yourself…” Leo said as he leaned in and blew a raspberry in the crook of his baby brother’s neck while kneading his hips.
The younger basically screamed in loud laughter, throwing his head back as happy tears shined in his eyes, “EEEEEHAHAHA!”
“Wow. This must tickle really bad, huh?”
“BEEHEE QUIHIHIET!!!”
“If you really want me to stop, you can just say stop, y'know.”
“NAHAHAH— *snort* SHUHUSH SHUHUSH!!”
“Unless…” Leo hinted teasingly, his fingers clamping down on the other’s thigh as he squeezed it mercilessly, still blowing raspberries on the orange cladded turtle’s neck.
“JAHSHHSJAKAHAH!!!” Mikey stuttered through his laugh.
“What was that?”
“MABSGHAJAHAH— *snort* *snort* JDHDHAHAH!!!”
“Oh, you don’t say…”
“MANSHSJWKAHA— *snort* *squeal*!!”
“Really? Wow. You don’t hear news like that everyday.” The blue cladded turtle joked, going back to squeezing Mikey’s hipbones.
“NOHO *squeak* STAHA— *squeak* IHI— *snort* L-LEEHEEHEEO!”
“Yes~?”
“PLEHEHA— *squeak* PLEHEASE NAHA— *snort* STAHAP I-IHI CAHAN’T!!!” Michaelangelo cried as happy tears ran down his cheeks. Leo couldn’t help but giggle at the adorable sight of his younger brother completely lost in his own cackles. The eldest stopped, sitting to the other side of Mikey so the youngest could catch his breath.
The orange banded turtle slumped on Leo’s shoulder once more as the eldest wrapped him in a comforting hug, “Yohou’re freeheeaking *snort* evil…”
The leader in blue snorted softly at the remark, “Ahand yohou’re annoying as hell.”
“Tahakes one toohoo know one, dear ohold brohohother ohof mine.” The orange banded teen grinned, the two enjoying each other’s company in comforting silence before the eldest spoke, “What TV show did you want to watch with me anyway?”
“Star Trek! Dad brought new DVD’s and—“
“AND YOU DIDN’T TELL ME?!” Leonardo basically screeched, leaping unto his feet as he quickly helped his brother up, taking his hand and almost dragging him to the living room. “I-I just said I wanted to watch TV with you!” Mikey yelled as he was being dragged along the hallway, “I didn’t know Star Trek was that important to you—“
Leonardo stopped in his tracks, slowly turning around to his brother, “Star Trek is very important to me.” He explained, turning back around as he saw the TV starting to play his favorite Sci-Fi show. The blue banded teen sat down next to his Father on the couch, becoming almost entranced by the television.
Not so far from where the leader in blue was sitting, Raph was leaning on a wall as he was talking to the second youngest. Mikey approached the two with a big, happy grin on his face, putting an arm around Donatello.
“You got Leo to come out of his meditation cave, I pressure?” The scientist asked.
“Yessir!” The youngest said happily, “But I just don’t understand how he meditates for, like, three freaking hours. I can barely do one!!! It’s impressive honestly…”
“More like concerning.” Donnie added on.
“Well…impressive or not, Fearless over there needs to take a break every now an' again. So thanks for doing what you did, Mike. We all appreciate it.” Raphael said, a small, embarrassed blush appearing on his face as his little brother’s looked at him teasingly. “Awe…Raphie you looooove us~!” Donatello grinned.
The red banded teen rolled his eyes and crossed his arms, “I take back everythin' I said about lovin' any of you dunderheads…” He muttered, although his voice lacked his usual snarky and cocky tone— which the two youngest turtle’s definetley took notice in.
“My sons, are you going to come and watch the space alien science fiction show with me and Leonardo?” Splinter asked the three teens. “Sure, Sensei.” Donnie said as they walked over.
“SHHH SHHH!!! IT’S ON MY FAVORITE SCENE!!!” Leo hissed as he was still looking at the television.
“But…every scene is your 'favorite scene'…” Raphael laughed.
“SAME. DIFFERENCE!!!”
