Republicans Deliberately Use Coded Language To Trick People To Vote For Them And Radicalize Their Group.

Republicans deliberately use coded language to trick people to vote for them and radicalize their group. Many don't even realize they're radicalized or what they're saying is even racist. This is why they think the Left is "over reacting" because the either know they're using coded language and don't care, or they don't know anything at all.

for those who don't know, there's a mod for stardew valley that adds toshinori as a full, romanceable npc with a TON of events and dialogue. here's a link!

all of this to say- that's why i haven't been active this weekend at all. i've been sucked hardcore back into stardew

okay so if you need more veggies/fruit, protein or fibre (bc most people do NOT eat enough) in your diet but you struggle to do so, hear me out:

look up recipes (especially snack recipes) that are child/toddler/baby-friendly

i can guarantee there is a woman with a cooking blog out there who has found away to pack a bunch of vegetables into a surprisingly delicious little snack for her kids. this process has never failed me when i feel like i am not eating enough fruits and veggies. my entire flat is eating spinach muffins at the moment, which doesn’t sounding particularly appealing to most people and yet somehow. they’re delicious.

now seems like a good time to remind my fellow alt kids out there that you do NOT wear your political patches on your back.

wear them on the front. that way if someone disagrees and decides to get violent about it, they’re less likely to sneak up on you and catch you off-guard. stay safe.

If I hear one more person say "Federal workers should strike!" I'm gonna lose it.

1. While many federal workers are unionized, it is specifically illegal for us to strike. Before joining the federal workforce, we have to sign agreements to not strike against the government.

2. Musk wants to dismantle these organizations and dissolve the positions. If feds strike, they won't care. They'd love that. They'd lock the doors behind us. It would give them permission to fire everyone immediately and dissolve their positions forever.

YOU need to strike. Non-feds. For us. Federal workers have been holding the line against fascism for you, and it's time for you to get off your ass and hold the line for US. You need to strike because we cannot.

Let These Be The Photos That Mark Tonight.

Let these be the photos that mark tonight.

This evening, Rep. Al Green of Texas was forcibly removed from the joint session of Congress by the sergeant-at-arms for standing up and yelling “You have no mandate to cut Medicaid.” during the president’s address.

“He is a person who has consistently used incivility against civility,” Green said.

“I’m willing to suffer whatever punishment is available to me,” he continued. “I didn’t say to anyone, ‘Don’t punish me.’ I’ve said I’ll accept the punishment, but it’s worth it to let people know that there are some of us who are going to stand up against this president’s desire to cut Medicaid, Medicare and Social Security.”

“This is about the people who are being punished by virtue of losing their health care,” he added. “This is the richest country in the world, and we have people who don’t have good health care.” (Per HuffPost)

"As Soon As I Discovered That Comics Were Made By People, I Wanted To Be One Of Those People, Even If

"As soon as I discovered that comics were made by people, I wanted to be one of those people, even if I didn't have anywhere near their skill set. And I still don't think I have that skill set. But the language of comics is exciting to me... Comics are a very democratic medium, and you don't need much more than a pencil and paper, as a minimum." —Art Spiegelman speaking to Hyperallergic Discover the Pulitzer Prize–winning classic that is as as relevant and impactful today as it was forty years ago.
