Wally had been wandering the halls of the school, bored out of his mind, his thoughts drifting aimlessly as he just tried to make it through another day—not that he ever expected much on a normal one, at least. But then, there were those days. The ones that turned into trouble. The kind of trouble that you made happen.

It didn't really take much to turn an average boring day into something unforgettable when you were involved. You were the life of the party. You and Wally? Every single time you two were together, trouble seemed to follow.

And today? Today was no different.

You had both made a promise long ago: make eternity fun. It was a pact, a way to deal with the fact that you two were dead, with no going back to your old lives. So, you'd sworn to make the most of every single day, even if it meant causing chaos along the way.

You'd even written down an entire bucket list with him. Wally named it "100 things to do before crossing over." You two hadn't really crossed off many of the things you'd written down; some of them were not very possible, given the fact that you two couldn't really leave the school grounds. But that didn't stop you from trying to make every day feel like it mattered.

After walking aimlessly around the school, Wally finally spotted you, sprawled out on the bleachers of the football field. The sun was making your skin glow, and despite the fact that you couldn't tan anymore, you still seemed to soak up every single ray as if you were trying to relieve the feeling of it. One arm draped over your eyes, one leg over the other. Wally smiled; you always found a way to look effortlessly cool and beautiful, even in moments like this.

Wally climbed up the steps, settling on the one just below you, his eyes studying you. "We're gonna have field day in an hour," he said, his voice light. "Mr. Martin wants to do something...different. A bonfire or whatever. I don't know. Rhonda told me."

But you didn't respond. Your silence made him arch an eyebrow.

"You good?" he asked, his tone shifting to a more serious now. He wasn't too used to you being so quiet.

You opened your eyes, lazily glancing at him. “Just thinking,” you murmured, your voice soft.

“Dangerous,” he teased, though he could tell something was off. You smiled at him, rolling your eyes, but he noticed they didn't have that usual sparkle.

“Are you sure you’re okay?” He asked again, a little more worried now.

You propped yourself up, your gaze flickering to the school building for a moment before focusing back on him. “Yeah,” you said, your voice steadier this time. “I’ve just been thinking about that list we made.”

“The one with a hundred things we’re supposed to do before crossing over?” Wally asked, smirking. “We’re halfway through, but there’s still plenty of time left.”

He watched your expression closely, trying to figure out what was going through your head, but you were unreadable as ever.

You shook your head. “We haven’t really crossed off much…” You trailed off for a second, your gaze flicking to the sky before you let out a sigh. “I just feel like... days are getting boring, Wally.”

He tilted his head. “Well, let’s do something not boring, then. Something stupid.”

“Define stupid.” You raised an eyebrow.

Wally’s lips curled into that signature cocky grin. The one that always meant he was about to take things to another level.

“Number 16,” he said, his eyes gleaming.

“Do you expect me to remember?” You shot back, trying to act nonchalant, but there was a flutter of excitement in your chest.

He rolled his eyes dramatically. “Skinny dipping, dumbass.”

You froze for a moment, processing his words. Your mind raced, the idea catching you off guard. It was reckless, a little insane—but totally on brand for the two of you.

"You're serious?" you asked, staring at him with a mix of disbelief.

Wally leaned forward slightly, his voice low, his gaze burning with that familiar mischievous fire. “Dead serious.”

You couldn’t help it. A wicked smile spread across your face as you locked eyes with him. It was just a stupid thing to do. Just another one of your meaningless games. No harm in it, right?

"You're insane," you muttered under your breath, pushing yourself off the bleacher to stand right in front of him. You looked down at him, your gaze meeting his with a challenge in your eyes.

Wally just shrugged. “Yeah, well, eternity wouldn’t be fun if we weren’t at least a little bit insane.” His eyes traced the curve of your body, the unspoken tension between you both suddenly feeling palpable, thick in the air.

You swallowed, suddenly aware of the heat that seemed to spark between you both. “I swear you’ll get us caught.” You half joked, but the wild idea was starting to feel too good to back away from.

“Let’s make it quick then,” he replied. “We’ll make sure no one sees us.”

"I swear, Wally, if we get caught... I'll kill you," you warned, your voice a mix of a playful threat.

Wally chuckled, the sound low and dangerous. "You wouldn't," he teased, but there was a spark of mischief in his eyes that made your stomach flip. "Besides, it's not like anyone's out there anyway. Everyone's off by the bonfire, telling ghost stories or whatever it is they do. We're fine. I'm sure they won't miss us."

You shot him a skeptical look, doubting if you should agree to it but you craved the adrenaline more.

"Come on," he grinned, grabbing your hand. "Let's go have some fun."

The thrill and the adrenaline coursed through you as you followed him, letting him guide you through the school. Wally was always the one to get you into trouble, but you couldn't deny how much you loved it.

As you both snuck through the hallways, being very careful to avoid Rhonda, Charley, Mr. Martin, or anyone who might spot you. You both could hear the muffled sounds of chatter echoing from the field.

When you finally reached the indoor pool, Wally paused at the entrance, opening the door slowly, and scanning the room. It was empty. The sun was almost gone, and the full moon shone brightly through the roof, illuminating the pool in a way that made the entire space feel almost otherworldly.

Wally turned back to you, a grin spreading across his face. "Looks like we have the place all to ourselves."

"Good," you smiled. "Kinda wanted some alone time, y'know?"

Wally's smile grew bigger, his gaze deepening. He took a step closer to you, his eyes locked onto yours. "I was actually thinking the same thing," he said, his voice low, more intimate. There was a flicker of something between you, a feeling that had been there for a while but neither of you had ever acknowledged it. "Just you and me."

"Just you and me," you repeated slowly, the words lingering in the air between you two.

For a second, everything faded away. The pool, the school, the world—it all felt distant, like a memory. It was just you and him, standing there in the moonlit pool, the adrenaline cursing through your veins.

Wally's hand was still intertwined with yours; his touch was warm, and even though you were technically dead, you still felt alive in moments like this. His gaze never left yours as he stepped closer, his breath becoming quicker.

"You sure about this?" he asked, his voice a mix of excitement and something else, something deeper, though it was hard for you to place.

You met his gaze and smirked. "Dead serious."

Wally's lips curled into a grin, there was a flicker of something darker in his eyes and it made your pulse quicken. The weight of his gaze on you caused your head to spin, his presence was overwhelming. He leaned in, his voice lowering to a whisper that sent shivers down your spine. "Just us?"

"Mhm," you nodded, your gaze never leaving his.

There was a subtle shift in Wally's demeanor, a possessiveness in the way he looked at you, but it wasn't the kind that felt controlling, it was the kind that made you feel like he was claiming this moment, claiming you, without saying a word. The air grew heavy with the weight of unspoken thoughts, you couldn't really tell if it was the adrenaline or something else, but you felt your heart pound louder in your chest.

"Yeah?" Wally repeated, a challenging tone lacing his voice, his smile never wavered. He stepped a little bit closer, closing the distance between you, his body just a fraction of an inch from yours. You could feel the heat radiating from him, the tension between you so strong, so thick you could almost touch it.

You tilted your head slightly, feeling the weight of his gaze, how it seemed to pierce right through you, taking in every single inch of you. His pupils were wide, dark, hungry, and the intensity of his stare made your heart race faster than before.

There was no going back now.

And honestly? You did not want to.

"Yeah," you whispered, a little breathless, words barely escaping your lips.

Just you and him, no distractions, no one to come between you two, no rules, no secrets, no limits.

Just you and him.

"So...Skinny dipping?" his lips brushed against your ear, his voice now a low whisper.

This might actually be the worst idea you've ever had. You'd suggested skinny dipping as a joke, both drunk and laughing while writing the list, not actually expecting him to go forward with it.

But here you were, bodies so close you could feel the heat radiating off of him, the air thick, almost suffocating. His eyes so dark, filled with something you couldn't quite describe, but you knew this wasn't just about a dare anymore.

This wasn't just a game.

It was about to become something entirely different, something that could change everything, ruin everything, but... maybe, just maybe, you wanted it to.

Wally Clark x fem reader Y/N slow burn story

Part 21: Summary: In complete bliss that you have finally told Wally that you love him and that he loves you back, you tell Maddie and then there is a meeting with the living kids to figure out a plan to lure Janet to the school and lure Mr Martin out of the scars for answers.

After kissing what felt like hours on the grass, you and Wally get up still in complete bliss of finally admitting your feelings. “Um, I know this is properly the last thing on your mind, but what are we going to tell Maddie? I know you two were close.” You ask while interlocking your fingers with his as you head off the field. “I don’t know, but I think she will understand right? I mean she’s not technically dead.” Wally responded. “We can tell her together if you want to?” you ask. “Darling, I want to do everything with you.” He replied lifting your hands and placing a kiss on yours. You head inside and go to the library figuring out that’s where everyone would be, and you were right they were all there discussing who would go into their scars next.

You and Wally approach the table, still holding hands and Wally says, “Hey Maddie, is it ok if Y/N and I talk to you for a sec?” he asks letting go of your hand. She nods and gets up from the table and heads to another section of the library to talk in private. “What’s up guys?” she asks. Not wanting to beat around the bush, Wally comes out and says, “Y/N and I just discovered we have feelings for each other, and we want to explore that connection. I had a really nice time getting to know you and I really do like you, but I can’t hide my feelings anymore. I’m sorry.” You expected her to get mad or something because you have seen how close they have become in such a short period. “It’s ok Wally. I’m not really dead anyways so it would have been awful to grow attached to someone that I can’t be with. And I kind of figured you guys had something going on. I mean the way Wally talks about you I’m surprised you guys weren’t together this whole time.” She says “Thank you for understanding. And I want to let you know, I did really like spending time with you, but I just need to be true to myself.” Wally says. She gives you a reassuring nod as you head back to the table with the others.

“By the look on your face I’m assuming you finally told him?” Charley asks as he notices you and Wally holding hands. “I mean I didn’t technically, I was practicing what I was going to say when he was in his scar and forgot that of you are close enough in the veil? Whatever it is, he heard everything, and he admitted he had feelings too.” You reply. Charley jaw drops and Rhonda adds, “I’m really happy for you guys but we really need to know if you saw Mr Martin in your scar Wally because I really don’t want to experience my murder again.” “He wasn’t there.” “So, he’s in either Charleys, Rhonda’s, mine or even one of the loopers and how can we even check those ones?” Tommy questions as he opens one of Mr Martins notebooks. “So, who is going in next?” Maddie asks. Silence fell over the library well the living kids were still around the library. “Fine, Ill go.” Tommy says as he grabs his item, a denim baseball cap with badges all over. “Wait” you say rushing after him as he leaves the library. “It will be hard in there, but just remember you already lived it; nothing can hurt you. Just try and forget what you are seeing and find him.” He puts his baseball cap on his head and says, “Thank you Y/N” then he leaves out of the library to the main entrance of the school.

“Ok, while we wait, tell me everything!” Charley says enthusiastically. “I mean there isn’t much to talk about, we already told you every-“ “When did you fall in love with her Wally?” Charley says as he interrupts you. “Halloween 1983 when I accidently walked in on her changing. I tried to push away the feelings, same reason why Y/N did, because we were afraid of losing each other and being stuck in this place for God knows how long.” Wally admits as he places a hand on your knee gently stroking his thumb up and down your jeans. “So, if you guys just talked, you would have been together this whole time?” Maddie asks. “Yeah, well I guess it’s hard for a himbo and a chickee.” You say looking at Rhonda who gave you those nicknames and you all laugh.

Tommy enters back into the library out of breath like he’s been running. “I saw him in there. As soon as I got close enough, he went through a door and disappeared.” “What the fuck? Where does he keep going?” Rhonda says angerly. You remember some sketch in Mr Martins satchel. Grabbing it from the table you find the paper and examine it. A piece of parchment paper with initials spread out over it. “Guys, remember this piece of parchment paper he had, what if it’s some kind of map?” Looking at it closely Wally runs out of the library and comes back with a map of the school. You place the parchment paper on top. “Holy shit, it is a map.” Charley says. “But what are all these initials?” Tommy asks. “Wait I remember something at the back of Wally’s notebook.” Maddie says as she grabs his notebook. She opens up to a page that seems like it’s a football play. She grabs a marker and copies what’s in the book to the paper. “It’s defiantly a map. They are all connected. That’s how he can easily outrun us and disappear.” Maddie confirms. “Shit, now what do we do?” Rhonda asks. “What are we all meant to go into our scars at the same time or something?” Tommy says. “We can’t do that. We have no idea what that could do, it could fuck everything up, we can’t risk it.” You say. “We have to think of a game plan somehow trap him, while my friends in the real world are trying to get Janet out of my body.” Maddie says. “Right, we need to have a group meeting or something between the living and us. Maybe Simon could translate our ideas.” You utter. “I can’t think of anything else so let’s do it. I’ll find Simon and tell him the idea; we can do it on the theatre stage after school.” Maddie shares as she leaves to go find Simon.

The bell rings signalling the end of the school day, while you watch most students head home- gosh you wish you could do that- you and the other ghosts head to the theatre were Maddie is with Simon setting up chairs with our faces on. “Uh, what’s with the faces on the chairs Cherry Pop?” Rhonda asks as she directs her attention to Maddie. “Simon thought it would help, just take a seat, the others should be here soon.” She says as she looks over to the door waiting for her living friends to appear through. You take your seat next to Wally and Charley on the other side. You notice Wally move his chair closer to yours and takes your hand- internal screams! -. Suddenly the door opens, and you see Maddie’s friends walk in. imminently your eyes focus on your niece, Lily as she walks in. You knew them all, Nicole, Xavier, and Claire but of course they don’t know you-or that you are sitting on the chairs- they bring their attention close to the photos to look. “Ok, your way to close blue eyes.” Rhonda snarls when Xavier gets a bit too close to her face for her liking. “Wait, that’s my mom’s maiden name. That’s my aunt that died in 1983, she’s here?” Lily says with concern discovering that her aunt she’s never met has been trapped in school before she was born. “Maddie, tell Simon to tell her that I’m ok and that I’m so proud of the person she has become.” You ask. Maddie nods her head and Simon tells Lily. She instantly cries and Nicole and Claire comfort her, something you wish you could do.

Waiting for Lily to settle, Simon starts the meeting? “So, we need to come up with a plan on how we can lure Janet back to school so Maddie can get her body back and the ghosts need a plan to try to get Mr Martin out of something called scars. Is that right?” Simon says as he directs his attention to Maddie to which she nods her head. “This Janet girl likes science stuff, what if we tell her that the school has some new science experiment that she has to see for herself.” Claire suggests. “Ok, you guys’ figure that one out but how are we meant to get Mr Martin out of the scars?” Tommy says. “I read this thing that ghosts don’t like salt so maybe you can get some and fling it on him or something?” Xavier replies. Silence spreads through the air. You don’t know if you are meant to laugh or if he was serious. Completely ignoring what Xavier said, “Rhonda and Charley, I know you guys want to go into your scar, but it may be our only option.” You voice out, looking at them.

“She’s right Rons, we have to try I mean they did, what’s the worst that could happen?” Charley says looking at her. “But he could be in another fucking scar, and we went through that for nothing.” She snaps in anger. You stand up and crouch next to her “I know you can do this. Mr Manfredo can’t hurt you. Yeah, you will see him, but he can’t hurt you anymore.” You say trying to reassure her. “And if he isn’t in yours or Charley’s we can try one of the loopers, maybe Yuri in the art room or one of the marching band kids, maybe we can figure out a way to break their loop” you add. Maddie briefly tells Simon what we are discussing to the living kids to which Lily says, “She sounds exactly like my mom. Kind, caring and always there for others.” Hearing that felt like a punch to your gut, devastated that you can’t hug her. Wally sees your upset and hugs you instead.

Charley and Rhonda look at each other knowing what they have to do, they get up and leave to grab their object- key? - to get into their scars. “We are going to try and talk to one of the loopers and see if they know anything and you work on a plan to get Janet here” you say to Maddie who repeats to Simon. You Wally and Tommy leave the theatre in hopes of talking to at least one of them.

With no success with either of them you head to the library to discuss what to do next when you see Rhonda and Charley in the hallway. “Well, we both did it and he wasn’t fucking there.” Rhonda yells. Maddie appears from one of the classrooms. “I don’t get it, where is he?” Charley says as Maddie approaches. Suddenly in one of the classrooms you hear some yelling, someone who defiantly shouldn’t be here so late at night. You all scramble to the noise when Maddie says “Mr Anderson?” “Maddie, thank god your alive!” the man says hugging her. “Wait who the hell are you guys?” he adds. You are all in shock that he can see, hear, and talk to you. “Wait if you’re here that means…”. Maddie utters. “Holy shit” Wally says. You all gasp in realization. You can’t find Mr Martin in the scars anymore because he’s not here, he’s taken over a body just like Janet did.

You Belong With Me 💙🏈📖

You Belong With Me 💙🏈📖

It's here! My first ever fan fiction story is live! Part 1 is below and I really hope you enjoy it. Im also still learning stuff so bear with me as I figure it out :) Wally Clark x fem reader Y/N

NSFW: eventually there will be smut but i will share which part has it in advance. This is a slow burn story between Wally and Y/N like really slow but trust me it’s worth it 😉

Story Summary:

You and Wally, best friends since birth, you decide to confess your love at the 1983's homecoming game. After a tragic accident, you remain with Wally and other ghosts for eternity. 40 years later, you decide it’s time to finally admit your feelings until someone else asks him out.

Part 1 Summary:

You and Wally have been best friends since birth thanks to your moms also being best friends. You and Wally are experiencing senor year together talking about your future at collage and talking about the big upcoming homecoming game. After keeping a secret from him since Junior year, you decide to tell him after the game.

Part 1:

You and Wally have been best friends since birth. His mom and my mom are best friends, and we are even born 5 days apart. Wally had always been there for you even though he was sometimes annoying, but you wouldn’t have it any other way.

Fast forward a couple of years and we are in our senior year of High school and absolutely dreading collage. Not that you weren’t a good student or anything you were always top of the class. You knew what you wanted to do and that was to become the next best-selling Author. You had a passion for literature and been dreaming of becoming the next Angela Carter. You just dread change always have and always will. Wally on the other hand already had a scholarship for football his mom is so proud, but you could tell deep down that he was holding something back. Something he hasn’t even admitted to himself.

You were sitting on the bleachers reading your book and watching Wally and the football team practice for the big homecoming game on Saturday.

“Y/N did you see what I just did? That was gnarly!” Wally yelled as he came running over to you, all sweaty and gorgeous. Unbeknownst to Wally you have had feelings for him since Junior year of school, but you were too scared to tell him. “No Wally, sorry I was reading, but I’m sure it was good” you said as butterflies exploded in your stomach. You have no idea how you’ve kept yourself together around him for so long.

Wally sat in front of you in the bleachers to have a drink from your water bottle because you always carry one knowing he always forgets his. “Good? Y/N that was the best play the coach as seen! You have to take a break from reading and watch me, please?” He gave you that look, the same look that he’s always used to get you to do whatever he wants. “Ok fine. I can’t stay much longer it’s getting late; you know how my parents get when I’m late for dinner” you say putting your book in your bag. “CLARK! Get your butt back on the field” The football coach yelled at Wally landing all eyes on you. “I’ll see you later, ok” Wally said as he got back onto the field.

You sit back and begin reading again until you are distracted once again. “He’s never going to love you Y/N. The quarterback and a nerd that’s tragic. He will eventually drop you and want to hang out with me instead” Amy snares as her and her bitchy friends laugh clearly trying to hurt your feelings. “You know what Amy; I don’t need him to love me like that I know he does.” You reply back confidently. “Besides Wally doesn’t like girls with a big ego like yours.” As you get up to walk away you can hear Amy and her friends gasp at you and you can’t help but to let out a little giggle.

As you leave the bleachers you can see Wally at a distance and hold up your hand into a phone near your ear singling you will call him later. You see him nod and walk to your car. As soon as you get home you are interrupted by your little sister, Mary. “Did you finally tell Wally you are in love with him already? You guys will be like the ultimate power couple of all of Split River High!” You sigh “Mary geez can you talk quieter? I don’t want Mom and Dad to hear” You sling your bag on the bottom step of the staircase. “Oh sweetheart, we already know how you feel for him.” Your mom chimed in from the kitchen. “I the only one who doesn’t know is Wally himself” She added. Lovely just lovely, somehow everyone knows about my crush. “Wait. How do you know? Did you say something Mary?” You said annoyed at your sister. “Sweetie, it’s so obvious how you feel. Its cute. Two best friends since birth developing feelings and falling in love. Now that’s a romance story I would read!” Mom said giggling with Mary. “Ok cool I’m going to wash up and we won’t talk about this more” you slurred leaving the kitchen to head up to your room.

You thought as you entered your room. Maybe it was time to admit your feelings to Wally. He could feel the same was as you did. Or worse he doesn’t, and you ruin your only friendship you’ve ever had. The thing about yourself you liked to keep to yourself. Got all your schoolwork done and wouldn’t dare be seen at a party unless it was one that Wally through. You and him are the complete opposite in the social scene but you somehow worked not because you were desisted to be friends by our parents by because you and him got on so well. Screw it, I’m telling him after the homecoming game. You thought to yourself as you walked back downstairs for dinner.

Shapeshifter? - Milo Manheim

Chapter two

Summary: Milo and Auroras friendship is complicated. They act like they're together but both of them swear they're just friends. Well Aurora does. But things starts to change during the break before season 2

The best mornings were the ones without alarms.

Aurora stretched lazily under the covers, savoring the warmth of her bed as sunlight filtered through the curtains. No early call times, no back-to-back interviews—just a full day off with her friends.

Her phone vibrated on the nightstand.

Kristian: Lobby in 20. We’re getting coffee first before Bug turns into a menace.

Aurora snorted, typing back a quick rude before throwing on a cozy sweater, leggings, and her favorite sneakers. When she stepped into the elevator, she could already hear their voices echoing from the lobby.

The second she stepped out, Peyton threw an arm around her shoulders.

“Look who finally decided to show up.”

“I am literally two minutes late.”

Nick grinned. “And yet, Spencer was already debating leaving without you.” Aurora shot Spencer a glare. He just shrugged, arms crossed.

“Look, Bug, if I don’t enforce some kind of schedule, these idiots will have us wandering aimlessly for hours.”

“I take offense to that,” Milo said, slinging an arm around Spencer’s shoulder. “I have great directional instincts.”

“You got lost inside a mall last week,” Sarah reminded him, adjusting the camera strap around her neck.

Milo opened his mouth, paused, then huffed. “...That mall was big.”

The group collectively laughed as they stepped outside into the crisp autumn air. The streets were already bustling—commuters rushing to work, the smell of fresh pastries wafting from nearby cafés, a street musician strumming a guitar on the sidewalk.

“Coffee first,” Kiara announced, pulling her scarf tighter around her neck. “Bug gets cranky without caffeine.”

“I do not,” Aurora argued.

Kristian and Rainbow exchanged looks. “You definitely do.”

Aurora huffed. “You guys are the worst.”

Milo grinned, bumping her shoulder. “Aw, we tease ‘cause we love you, Bug.”

Aurora rolled her eyes. “Let’s just get coffee before I start throwing hands.”

The café was warm and inviting, the scent of espresso filling the air. The group lined up at the counter, chatting casually. Aurora was already reaching for her phone to place her usual order— But before she could, Milo smoothly stepped forward.

“Medium iced vanilla latte, extra shot of espresso,” he said without hesitation, then gestured toward himself. “And a black coffee, two sugars.”

Aurora blinked.

The group immediately turned to look at her.

Kiara raised an eyebrow. “He didn’t even ask you.”

Milo just smirked. “Didn’t have to.”

Aurora stared at him, a mix of amusement and suspicion. “Have I become that predictable?”

Milo turned toward her, his smirk deepening. “Not predictable, Bug. I just pay attention.”

She narrowed her eyes. “Creepy.”

Milo chuckled, handing her the drink when it was ready. “You love me.”

Aurora took a slow, deliberate sip of her coffee. “Again Mi, the Jury’s still out.”

Spencer groaned. “You two flirt so much.”

“We’ve been saying this!” Sarah laughed

“We are not flirting,” Aurora and Milo said in unison.

The entire group rolled their eyes.

Fueled by caffeine, the group ventured into the city, stopping in every store that caught their interest.

The first stop was the thrift store Aurora and Kiara immediately made it their mission to find the ugliest sweaters possible.

“This one is atrocious,” Kiara announced, holding up a bright orange knit monstrosity with dancing reindeer.

Aurora cackled. “Milo. Try this on.”

Milo eyed the sweater warily. “That looks like something my grandma would force me to wear.”

“Exactly,” Aurora grinned, tossing it at him.

Meanwhile, Nick and Spencer were in a heated debate over a bedazzled jean jacket.

“You cannot pull this off,” Nick argued.

Spencer deadpanned. “I have kids to think about.”

“You don’t have kids.”

“You don’t know that.”

The Next stop a record store.

Sarah, ever the photographer, was snapping photos of everyone.

She caught Milo flipping through vinyl, Peyton balancing a ridiculous stack of albums, and Rainbow dramatically posing next to an old jukebox.

Aurora found a vintage Fleetwood Mac record, running her fingers over the worn cover.

Milo peered over her shoulder. “Classic Bug. Old soul.”

Aurora smirked. “I like good music, sue me.”

Sarah snapped a candid shot of them before Aurora could protest.

And then—

Sephora.

Milo groaned the second Aurora grabbed his wrist.

“No. Nope. Absolutely not.”

“Oh, yes,” Aurora said, already dragging him inside.

The others followed, highly entertained.

“You’re so dramatic,” Aurora teased, leading him toward the makeup displays.

Milo sighed. “I do not belong here.”

Aurora grinned. “Oh, you do now.”

Before he could protest, she grabbed his hand and flipped it palm-up, swiping a deep red lipstick across the back.

Milo just stared. “Did you just—”

“Yep.”

“Unbelievable.” Still, he didn’t pull away as she tested a few more shades

“You know they have paper swatches for this, right?”

She shrugged “where’s the fun in that?”

Milo smirked “so you just wanted an excuse to hold my hand?”

Aurora paused, Narrowing her eyes “do you ever stop?”

He grinned. “Not when it comes to you.”

“You’re so annoying.”

“It’s okay I know your game, Bug.” She rolled her eyes fighting the urge to shove him.

Rainbow, watching, started humming “Unwritten”.

Milo immediately joined in. “FEEL THE RAIN ON YOUR SKIN—”

Spencer groaned. “I swear to god, you two—”

It only got worse from there.

Milo and Rainbow started singing everything anyone said that reminded them of a song.

At one point, Peyton said, “We should grab a drink after this,” and Milo immediately launched into “bartender” by akon

By the time they left, Milo’s hand was covered in makeup swatches, and Spencer looked one second away from putting them all in time-out.

A small group of fans spotted them on the street.

“Milo! Aurora!”

Milo lit up immediately, turning toward them with a grin. “Hey, guys!”Aurora stepped back, watching as he immediately pulled them in for hugs.

“You guys having a good day?” he asked, voice warm and familiar, like he knew them.

A girl in a lavender sweater beamed. “This just made it way better.”

“D’awww,” Milo cooed, ruffling her hair. “You guys are too sweet.”

Aurora watched as he took selfies, signed things, and—of course—kissed one girl on the cheek, making her squeal.

Aurora shook her head. “You’re so ridiculous.”

Milo turned to her, still grinning. “Hey, don’t be jealous, Bug.”

One of the fans giggled. “You guys are such cute friends.”

Milo smirked. “Hear that? We’re cute.”

Aurora groaned. “Come on, Loverboy.”

After hours of wandering through thrift shops, record stores, and makeup aisles, the group found themselves standing at a crosswalk, the neon lights of the city casting a warm glow over them.

“I refuse to let this day end without a drink,” Nick declared, stretching his arms over his head. “We deserve a little celebration.”

Spencer checked his watch. “One drink. Then we all get some actual sleep.”

Milo smirked. “Look at you, Dad Mode activated.”

Spencer just rolled his eyes. “Someone has to be responsible.”

“Do they?” Peyton teased.

Sarah nudged Aurora. “What do you say, Bug? One drink?”

Aurora, still buzzing from the day, grinned. “Let’s do it.”

They ended up in a cozy little bar tucked between two towering buildings, the kind of place that wasn’t too loud but still had a steady hum of conversation and low music playing in the background. Edison bulbs hung from the ceiling, casting a golden glow over the dark wooden bar top.

Milo leaned against the counter, flashing the bartender his usual easygoing smile. “Alright, what’s everyone having?”

Orders started flying in—Spencer with his standard whiskey neat, Rainbow with a fruity cocktail, Kiara and Kristian opting for classic gin and tonics.

When it got to Aurora, she barely had time to open her mouth before Milo spoke up.

“She’ll have a spiced rum and coke.”

Aurora blinked. “Okay, seriously, how do you just know these things?”

Milo gave her a lazy grin. “Like I said earlier—I pay attention.”

Kiara smirked. “That’s a little suspicious.”

Milo winked at Aurora. “Maybe I’m just invested in Bug’s well-being.”

Aurora groaned. “You’re insufferable.”

Milo lifted his glass. “And yet, you’re still here.”

Nick raised his drink. “Alright, to chaotic friendships, successful press tours, and not getting lost in a mall again.” Milo pointedly avoided eye contact. Glasses clinked, and for a moment, everything just felt easy. No cameras, no schedules—just them, laughing, reminiscing, and enjoying the simple comfort of being together.

At some point, Aurora and Peyton got distracted by a dog sitting outside the window.

“Oh my god,” Payton gasped. “That puppy is so cute.”

Aurora practically melted against the bar. “Look at his little face.”

Kristian sighed. “That’s it. We’re never leaving.”

Meanwhile, Milo and Rainbow were still turning every casual statement into a song.

Spencer, exhausted, pinched the bridge of his nose. “If you two sing one more time—”

Rainbow smirked. “Oh no, guys, Spencer’s mad.”

Milo, without missing a beat, started singing “Mad” by Ne-Yo.

“So both of us are Mad for nothing!” He sung

Spencer groaned.

By the time they finished their drinks, the group was just tipsy enough to be giggly but not enough to make getting back to the hotel a struggle.

Milo, ever the gentleman (or so he claimed), offered Aurora his arm as they stepped out into the chilly night air.

“Shall we, Bug?”

Aurora rolled her eyes but took it anyway. “You are so dramatic.”

Milo grinned. “And yet, we’re still best friends.”

She didn’t respond.

But she also didn’t let go.

Back at the hotel, the group split off to their respective rooms, exhausted but still buzzing from the day. Aurora sighed, kicking off her shoes as she stepped into her room, only to hear a knock at her door before she even had a chance to sit down.

She didn’t even have to ask who it was.

With a knowing smirk, she swung the door open. “Couldn’t survive five minutes without me?”

Milo leaned against the doorframe, arms crossed, that familiar grin tugging at his lips. “Busted. What can I say? I need my daily dose of Bug time.”

Aurora rolled her eyes still took his hand to head to his room knowing he’d drag her there at some point eventually.

“Also,” he added, flopping down dramatically onto his bed, “I figured we should probably eat before we pass out. What’s the move? Room service or takeout?”

Aurora stretched, glancing at the bedside clock. “Room service takes forever. Takeout?”

Milo pulled out his phone, already scrolling. “Okay, what are we feeling? Pizza? Sushi? Burgers?”

Aurora flopped onto the bed beside him, peering at his screen. “Mmm… Chinese?”

Milo smirked. “You always go for Chinese.”

“Because it’s elite.”

Milo chuckled. “Fine, fine. What’s your order?”

Aurora didn’t even get a chance to answer before Milo tapped on the screen.

“Sesame chicken, extra sauce, fried rice, and an egg roll.”

She blinked. “Okay, you seriously need to stop memorizing my orders.”

Milo just wiggled his eyebrows. “Admit it. You’re impressed.”

Aurora grabbed a pillow and smacked him with it. “Creeped out is more like it.”

Milo laughed, shielding himself. “Hey! It’s not creepy! I just pay attention.”

“Yeah, yeah,” Aurora muttered, but she was smiling.

They finished ordering, and while they waited, Milo rolled onto his side, propping himself up on one elbow.

“So. Highlight of the day?”

Aurora thought for a moment. “Probably taking you into Sephora and using your hand as a makeup palette. That was very satisfying.”

Milo held up his hand, which still had faint traces of swatches. “You ruined me.”

“Oh, please. You liked it.”

Milo smirked. “I liked you holding my hand, sure.”

Aurora groaned, shoving his face away. “You cannot be serious this late at night.”

Milo just grinned. “What about you? Favorite moment?

Milo exhaled, staring up at the ceiling for a second. Then he looked at her, softer this time. “Honestly? Probably when we met those fans. I love how excited they get. Makes all the crazy stuff worth it.”

Aurora smiled. “You are kind of a golden retriever when it comes to them.”

Milo scoffed. “Excuse me?”

“You just—” Aurora gestured vaguely at him. “You love people. Like, really love them. You go all in, full hugs, cheek kisses, the whole thing. It’s kinda cute.”

Milo wiggled his brows. “You think I’m cute?”

Aurora groaned. “I walked into that one.”

He chuckled, nudging her shoulder. “You make it too easy, Bug.”

“And yes Mi, you’re cute.”

Before he could retaliate, a knock sounded at the door.

Milo hopped up. “Food’s here!”

He grabbed the bags from the delivery guy and plopped back onto the bed, setting the containers between them.

They dug in immediately, Aurora stealing an egg roll from Milo’s container without hesitation.

Milo gasped, clutching his chest. “Betrayal.”

Aurora took a slow, exaggerated bite. “You love me anyway.”

Milo rolled his eyes, but he was smiling.

They ate in comfortable silence for a few minutes, watching some random late-night TV show on the hotel screen. At some point, Aurora pulled a blanket over her lap, leaning against the headboard.

Milo nudged her knee with his. “Tired?”

Aurora yawned, stretching. “A little. It’s been a long day.”

Milo reached over, tucking a stray strand of hair behind her ear. “Wanna sleep?”

Aurora sighed. “Mmm. But I should probably get back to my room.”

Milo didn’t move, just watched her for a second before shaking his head. “Nah. Just crash here.”

Aurora hesitated, glancing at him. “You sure?”

Milo gave her a lazy grin. “Yeah, Rora. I don’t mind.”

Aurora rolled her eyes but settled deeper into the pillows.

Milo grabbed the remote, lowering the volume. “Sleep well, bug.”

And for once, she didn’t argue.

The soft light of morning filtered through the heavy curtains, casting a gentle glow over the room. Aurora’s eyes fluttered open, the warmth of the blanket surrounding her feeling comforting and familiar. She shifted slightly, but something didn’t feel quite right.

It took her a moment to realize why—there was an arm wrapped securely around her waist.

Her first instinct was to freeze. But as her mind caught up with the situation, she slowly turned her head, heart skipping a beat as she realized why she felt so secure. Milo’s face was inches from hers, his head resting on the pillow next to hers. His arm was draped over her, his body tangled up with hers in a way that should’ve felt awkward but instead felt completely natural.

Aurora's chest tightened for a moment.

But the warmth of Milo’s body next to hers was too comforting, too calming. She slowly breathed in, feeling his steady breaths against her cheek. He was sound asleep, his face relaxed, his lips barely parted in a peaceful expression that was a far cry from his usual playful, teasing grin. She felt the beat of his heart beneath her skin, their bodies still intertwined in a way that felt more intimate than anything they’d shared before.

Her breath caught, and for a long moment, Aurora just laid there, her body still, trying to process everything without waking him. She could hear the soft rhythm of his breathing, the way his arm tightened around her waist every time she shifted slightly.

She should move. She should get up and slide out of his embrace. But the way his body held onto hers so effortlessly made it hard to pull away.

There was something about waking up like this—so close, so tangled with him—that felt different. There were no cameras, no fans, no schedule looming over them. Just this quiet morning, the weight of the world momentarily gone.

Aurora tried to adjust, but as she did, Milo groaned softly in his sleep, his grip tightening around her waist instinctively. His lips brushed against her hair, a soft exhale slipping from him.

Aurora couldn’t help but smile at the softness of it all. She had never imagined waking up like this, not with Milo. They had their playful moments, their teasing banter, but this—this was different.

Her thoughts were interrupted when Milo shifted slightly, blinking sleepily as his eyes cracked open. For a brief moment, there was only silence.

Then his eyes met hers, still blurry with sleep, but a smile tugged at the corners of his lips. “Morning, Bug,” he murmured, his voice rough with sleep.

Aurora’s breath hitched, her heart racing even though she tried to remain casual. She swallowed, a slight blush creeping up her neck. “Morning,” she replied softly.

There was a beat of silence, just the two of them in this tiny bubble of quiet. Neither one moved to pull away. Neither one seemed to want to.

Finally, Milo blinked again, his voice teasing despite the grogginess. “So… this is what it looks like when you actuallyfall asleep on me, huh?”

Aurora laughed softly, her fingers lightly grazing the back of his hand where it rested on her side. “Or maybe you just can’t stay away from me?.”

Milo smirked. “Uh-huh. Sure, Bug. Keep telling yourself that.”But his tone was soft, his thumb gently brushing across her skin.

Aurora stared at him for a moment, and she could see it—the way his eyes were a little more vulnerable than usual, the way he seemed more real, more present in a way that felt different from their usual back-and-forth.

For a moment, she felt the tension rise between them. A question hung in the air, unspoken but understood. Was this just a moment of vulnerability? A one-off slip-up, or was it something more?

But before she could say anything, Milo gently pulled her closer, as if he couldn’t help himself. He tucked his face into her hair, his voice barely above a whisper.

“Stay for a while, s’last day I’m gonna see you for at least a month,” he said, and for a fleeting moment, there was a quiet softness to him that Aurora wasn’t sure how to handle.

She didn’t answer right away. Instead, she let herself fall into the comfort of his arms, allowing the stillness of the morning to wash over her.

“Don’t remind me.”

You Belong with Me 💙🏈📖

You Belong With Me 💙🏈📖

Part 6

Wally Clark x fem reader Y/N

Summary:

It’s time for the homecoming dance and you meet a new ghost named Tommy. And reality of your death hits you both as the school is organizing a memorial.

You and Wally reach the teachers’ lounge and you spot Janet, Rhonda and the other ghost who hasn’t said anything except stare at you which you find unsettling, but it could be just his way to cope with new ghosts. “Hi, uh we have some more questions, and we are hoping you can help us?” You ask the group. Janet gets up from her seat “I can try to help but like Mr Martin said we don’t know what causes us to be in this “In between” phase we just are.” She adds. “The more you dwell on your past and how you are stuck here the harder it will be on you. We want to figure our way out of here, to cross over but a big part of that is letting go of your past and embrace that you are here.” Not knowing how to respond to that You and Wally just stare blankly at her and each other. “Right so we just have to accept we are stuck here for how knows how long so we can eventually figure out how to cross over?” Wally says. The other ghost who has blonde hair and a tan who honestly looks like a model straight out of a magazine, is still staring blankly. “Ok blondie, you are starting to creep me out. Why are you just staring?” You ask him. He finally responds. “Sorry, this is all new to me too. I died not that long ago. I was a Junior when you were freshman you properly don’t remember. I’m Thomas but you can call me Tommy.”

You and Wally continue to ask questions to the others until you can hear loud music. The dance has started. “Well, I don’t know about you guys, but I wanted to check out the dance and get some delicious punch they have every year.” Janet says as she gets up and starts to walk to the door. “Y/N and Wally if you want to join, go to the theatre there’s a room under the stage they have a bunch of old clothes if you want to dress up. Tommy and Rhonda follow seemingly also going to the dance. “Well, what do you say Y/N you want to go to the dance with me?” Wally asks as it’s just the two of you left in the room. “We’ve got nothing else to do so why not.” You respond. “But I want to look cute if I’m going.” “They can’t see- you know what never mind let’s go.”

You and Wally leave and walk to the theatre and find the hatch that leads to the room under the stage. Dozens of kids from your year start to pile through the doors all dressed up. You get to the drama room and find a bunch of clothes to wear. You spot a blue frilly dress your size and shove it on as Wally finds an old suit that looks like it’s been here since Janet was here. You exit the room and head to the gym. Entering the gym, you immediately see a photo of You and Wally together with a banner underneath that reads “Gone too soon” Seeing that you and Wally both look at each other as the situation of it all sinks in. you and him are well and truly dead.

“Ugh, I can’t believe the hot jock died. I was going to ask him out.” Amy said to her friends as they enter the gym and see the photo of You and Wally. “That nerdy friend of his had to die the same day as him to steal his moment because those two have to share everything together.” Karen one of Amy’s bitch pack laughs as they enter the dance. “Ignore them, come on lets at least try to have some fun.” Wally says trying to lighten your mood seeing how hurt you were at their comments. You take his hand and walk further in the gym. Wally drags you on the dance floor. You were hesitant at first but then he reminds you they can’t see you. So, you do and dance like literary no one was watching. Just as the dance is about to end, Principal Smith takes the stage. “Can I have everyone’s attention? I want to say that for those who were close to Wally, and Y/N I know it must be hard to be here. This dance is our way to honour both which is why they are both this year’s Homecoming King and Queen.” You both take the stage as if they can see you and you and Wally place the crowns on your heads. Principal Smith gets a photo of you and Wally up on the stage and places the crowns on top of the photo. “Don’t forget students that the school will be closed until Wednesday, and we will be having a memorial service for both of them and as far as I know their parents haven’t set a date for their funerals.” Mr Smith said as the dance dies down and reality hits you. Your family. They must be devastated. You just want to see them, but you can’t. Sadness washes over you as Wally turns and gives you a hug for support. You think to yourself this may be greedy, but you are glad you are here with Wally. Because you can’t imagine doing this alone.
