Wow
Nothing lasts forever,
but you were gone too soon
You were robbed of summer
I was robbed of you
I'm feral about these sad dead kids.

Spend time between the holidays
Ryan Baker x Reader
Summary: A holiday sex joke, if your left leg was Thanksgiving and your right leg was Christmas, I wouldn't mind spending time between the holidays.
CW: Death (not you), grief, nakedness (non-sexual), fighting, breeding kink, daddy kink, I'll edit this when I'm awake
Sleeping over at Ryan's house was the norm. The two of you are inseparable even more so since the infamous RightMart massacre the year prior, which shook your town to the core. 2023 started off with a bang, so to speak. Countless town halls, trials, and press interviews Plymouth was forever changed. Halloween came and went, and Thanksgiving was around the corner. Everyone is on edge because the one year anniversary is coming up. A mystery instagram account appeared and was tagging thoses who were in the store during that time. Gaby & Evan were missing and killings have been occurring lately. It looks like a lot of the victims had to do with the RightMart massacre. The waitress who was a bit bitchy from the restaurant that Ryan and you would frequent to your best friend Yulia.
God, that killed you to find out about. You spoke to Yulia that afternoon via facetime and she was telling you about how her and her dad were moving to Florida because he didn't feel it was safe for them to remain here, when the murders were occurring. That was the last time you spoke to her and she promised that she would call when she made it to Florida. Scuba was the one who told you about what happened to her. During that time you pretty much unofficially moved in with Ryan.
He wouldn't dare to leave you alone while you were processing everything that happened. The first few days you didn't speak, eat or leave his bed, days turned into weeks and Ryan was getting worried about you. It was Sunday night & Ryan was holding you in his arms when he gently started the conversation not too sure if he'd get a response from you. “Baby.” He softly spoke. You looked up at him, waiting for what he had to say. “ I know how hard everything has been for you these past two weeks. I will always be here for you, but don't you think it's time for a change in scenery?” He carefully asked with nervous laced in his tone. You didn't say anything, which he was expecting, but he was having a bit of trouble reading your emotions. The two of you sat there for a moment, he just let you ponder in your thoughts. After what felt like eternity to Ryan who was observing you, you gazed into his eyes and nodded your head to his question from earlier. A smile broke out on his face and he pulled you into his chest. He asked “Would you like to take a shower together?” Again you nodded to his question. Together the two of you head off to the shower.
Steam filled the bathroom and water cascaded over the two of you. Ryan washed your hair and then he started the process to wash your body. The moment was very intimate just the two of you in the silent moment, no words need to be spoken just simply washing one's body. Once Ryan was finished, you turned to him and said “Let me return the favor.” Your voice cracked and dry from not speaking for a long time. Ryan was simply over the moon hearing your voice in a long time. “Yeah of course baby.” He said softly. Once you finish in the shower and step out, Ryan instantly wraps you in the fluffiest towel he owns. He sits you on the toilet and walks back into his bedroom to gather clean clothes for the both of you. When he returns, he pretty much dresses you and then starts your night time route. You wanted to protest to let Ryan get himself dressed, but he said that you were more important and didn't leave any room for argument.
Monday came and you returned back to school. It was the week before Thanksgiving break. You could feel pity from teachers and fellow students. Some try to offer sympathy but fortunately for you Ryan, Scuba and Jess would always step in before they could but unfortunately for you that didn't stop the grievance counselor attempts to corner you every chance she could get. Sure it was nice that the school seemed to care, but holy shit she's persistent and a small damper in the week that you returned back to school. It was Friday which was a half day thank fuck. Color started to return back to your face and Ryan couldn't be anymore happier. The final bell rang out signaling that the day is over. As Ryan waited for you by his truck, you and Jess were making your way towards him discussing the party that she was throwing at her dad's house because he felt guilty about what happened and pretty much did whatever his baby girl asked. (It wasn't because he was trying to persuade her that he was a good dad while he was planning on opening RightMart for Black Friday again.) You and Jess go your separate ways and call out “ See you tonight lovely.”
You were getting ready at Ryan's house, music playing from your phone. Ryan came back into the bedroom from the bathroom, towel hung low on his hips. You make your way into the bathroom to do your makeup and hair. He starts to get dressed and his back is visible in the mirror that's in the bathroom. You were watching the way his muscles rippled with each moment he was making. He turns around and the two of you lock eyes with each other through the mirror. Time stopped for a moment while the two of you were holding that contact. “Like what you see, darling.” He said. You roll your eyes and giggle at his cheesnesses. He stalked towards you with his button up hanging around his shoulders and wrapping his arms around your waist caging you in between himself & the vanity. You could feel every part of him pressed up against you. Heat thrumming through your body. Ryan grinds himself into your ass that pressed directly on his hard on. Heavy pants and breathy moans fill the air. “Baby.” You pant out loud. He slows his movement, but not fully stopping and his hands travel up your body giving your breast a firm squeeze. “Baby, we can't.” You whined out. It was then when Ryan stopped, he knew you were right. You couldn't be late to the party & it was your first non-school outing since the passing of your best friend. He places a kiss to your shoulder and a slap on your ass while he exits the bathroom to finish getting dressed.
You arrive at Jess's house, seeing the party in full swing. Hand in hand the two of you make it up to the door and enter the party. Music was fully blasting and you could feel the vibrations in your bones. Making your way through the sea of people in the house and finding the door that leads to the backyard where more people were congregating at. You spot Jess and make your ways towards her. Conversations are flowing and the party is in full swing that even Michael McCarty makes any appearance. Lost in conversation with Jess, you glance over your shoulder trying to find Ryan so you could ask him to get you some water . That's when you spotted the last person who you thought you'd see here tonight, yet alone in Plymouth. Your eyes narrowed watching the person making their way across the yard without a single care in the world. Jess, who was trying to regain your focus, gave up and followed your line of sight to see what had all of your attention. That's when she spots him as well. Her breath hitched. Bobby fucking De Stasi.
Out of all the people you were gobsmacked that he showed his face here. Jess looks like she's about to say something but you beat her to it. “What the hell are you doing here?” Jess shouted at him. Ryan who was nearby heard Jess’s voice and made his way over to where you were. He stood next to you and was a bit confused on what was going on until he noticed who ever one was looking at. He scoffed loudly and he reached for your hand and entwined your fingers together. Again Jess repeated the question at Bobby who was just standing there. Bobby finally spoke up “ I'm back to help out with my uncle at his auto shop.” Jess scoffed at his answer and continued on “ I meant was what are you doing at this party?” Bobby looked around and noticed that an audience was forming. “Can we go talk in private, Jess?” He asked. A scoff left your lips and replied “Anything that you have to say to Jess, you can say it in front of us.”
Bobby looked in your direction and noticed Ryan Baker standing next to you which for some reason caused Bobby to laugh. Ryan was ready to fight him, but you held up your hand signaling to him not too. “Well?” Jess asked. “I wanted to talk and explain things to you and see if we could try again.” He mumbled out. “Are you serious?” Both you and Jess say at the same time. “You seriously think I'd want you back after you ghosted me for an entire year with no contact!” She shouted. Jess turned around and headed back into the house, Bobby tried to follow but Ryan stood in front of him to block him doing so. “Move it Baker.” Bobby firmly spoke. “Not a chance in hell.” Ryan said. In a blink of an eye a fight between them breaks out. Fists repeatedly landing blows between them. It wasn't until Michael and Scuba broke up the fight between them. “Get the hell out of here Bobby!” Ryan yelled.
Adrenaline was running through Ryan's bloodstream and he needed to release this energy. He grabbed your hand and dragged you back into the house and looked for an empty bedroom. Once he found one he pulled you inside and the door shut he immediately walked you over to the bed and pushed you down on the mattress. He hovered above you and began to place kisses all over your face. His hands are exploring and squeezing your body. His fingers slid under the hem of your dress and slowly started to lift over your head and he removed his clothes as well. He began kissing down your neck and sucking bite marks into your neck. His lips traveled further down your body and made it to your breast. His lips enveloped one of your nippple in his mouth and he began sucking and biting it while his other hand messaged your boob and pinched your nipple. Once he thought that side was good he switched to the other one giving it the same treatment. Afterwards his lips trailed down your sternum and down your stomach. Right to the waistband of your panties. He places gentle kisses across your hip bones. His teeth grabbed the waistband and he began to pull your panties down.
When they were removed he spread your legs apart and started kissing your ankle up to your inner thigh leaving bite marks in its wake. One he reached your cunt he placed a kiss on your mound and then moved down in front of your entrance. He ran his tongue up your folds and kissed your clit. He repeated motion for a bit then on his way back down, he decided to interest his tongue inside your pussy and began fucking yourself on his tongue. He ate you out like a man on a mission to make you cum. He kept changes between fucking you with his tongue to focusing it on your clit. Your legs were beginning to shake which Ryan knew was a tell tale sign that you were about to cum. So he began to pick up his pace to get you to fall over the edge. He began humming into it and that sent jolts up your body. After one particular harsh suck on your clit, you came hard and boy did he love that.
After you came down from your high, Ryan flipped you over on all fours and ran the tip of his cock through your folds. He pushed himself into you until he was fully sheathed . He didn't move and you started begging, “Please move , daddy.” That caused him to stutter and let out a whine. He began to move which caused the both of you to let out long, loud, echoing moans, ecstasy hitting you both. His hips moving at a steady pace in and out, his tip gently tapping against your g-spot. He began to pick up the pace and his cock head repeatedly hit against your g-spot. Your brain was turning into mush and your eyes were rolling into the back of your head. Your walls began to start clenching down on him which is another tell that you are too cumming. Ryan added his finger on your clit and started rubbing it in tight fast circles, helping in making you fall over the edge. Hips moving faster, you started throwing it back on him and he pulled your hair hard and one really harsh thrust brought you over the edge and you came hard. His name falling from your lips in broken moans and tears running down your face. He kept going to chase his high and was overstimulating you. He was getting closer and he pushed your head down on the mattress holding it down and he bent over your back whispering pure filth in your ear. “What if I got you pregnant?” He said. “What if I breed you, huh what then?” He groaned huskily in your ear and you began to cry. “Yeah you like that baby. Me fucking you you full of my cum and giving you a baby ?” Your walls clamped down on him and he flew over the edge cumming so fucking hard and so much. He pretty much collapsed on your back.
The two of you stay like that for a little while letting your high burn out and you return back to earth from that mind blowing sex. Once you both came back down, he removed himself from your back and pulled out of you. A hiss leaves your lips, “I know baby, I know.” Ryan teases. He collapsed right next to you on the bed and he pulled you in his arms. Holding you so close to you and rubbing his hands all over your body in tender love. After a beat or two, he hooks his finger under your chin and tilts your head upwards. You both gaze into each other's eyes and you both can see the love you have for each other swimming in your eyes. “I love you.” He says his voice hoarse and places a kiss on your lips. “ I love you too.” You said against his lips and leaned in to kiss him again. He lays back down and you rest your head on his chest. Your eyes flick around the room until they land on a picture on the dresser and you gasp. Ryan was confused and asked “What's wrong, love ?” You turned to him and said “I think we just had sex in Jess's dad's bed?” He was frozen for a moment then the two of you burst out laughing and fell asleep.
It's definitely the most wonderful time of the year.
Bringing back the cuteness that was this interview 😍😭
└ Milo Manheim: The Puppy Interview
Shapeshifter? - Milo Manheim
Chapter two
Summary: Milo and Auroras friendship is complicated. They act like they're together but both of them swear they're just friends. Well Aurora does. But things starts to change during the break before season 2
Playlist
Song rec - Friends by Ed Sheeran
The best mornings were the ones without alarms.
Aurora stretched lazily under the covers, savoring the warmth of her bed as sunlight filtered through the curtains. No early call times, no back-to-back interviews—just a full day off with her friends.
Her phone vibrated on the nightstand.
Kristian: Lobby in 20. We’re getting coffee first before Bug turns into a menace.
Aurora snorted, typing back a quick rude before throwing on a cozy sweater, leggings, and her favorite sneakers. When she stepped into the elevator, she could already hear their voices echoing from the lobby.
The second she stepped out, Peyton threw an arm around her shoulders.
“Look who finally decided to show up.”
“I am literally two minutes late.”
Nick grinned. “And yet, Spencer was already debating leaving without you.” Aurora shot Spencer a glare. He just shrugged, arms crossed.
“Look, Bug, if I don’t enforce some kind of schedule, these idiots will have us wandering aimlessly for hours.”
“I take offense to that,” Milo said, slinging an arm around Spencer’s shoulder. “I have great directional instincts.”
“You got lost inside a mall last week,” Sarah reminded him, adjusting the camera strap around her neck.
Milo opened his mouth, paused, then huffed. “...That mall was big.”
The group collectively laughed as they stepped outside into the crisp autumn air. The streets were already bustling—commuters rushing to work, the smell of fresh pastries wafting from nearby cafés, a street musician strumming a guitar on the sidewalk.
“Coffee first,” Kiara announced, pulling her scarf tighter around her neck. “Bug gets cranky without caffeine.”
“I do not,” Aurora argued.
Kristian and Rainbow exchanged looks. “You definitely do.”
Aurora huffed. “You guys are the worst.”
Milo grinned, bumping her shoulder. “Aw, we tease ‘cause we love you, Bug.”
Aurora rolled her eyes. “Let’s just get coffee before I start throwing hands.”
The café was warm and inviting, the scent of espresso filling the air. The group lined up at the counter, chatting casually. Aurora was already reaching for her phone to place her usual order— But before she could, Milo smoothly stepped forward.
“Medium iced vanilla latte, extra shot of espresso,” he said without hesitation, then gestured toward himself. “And a black coffee, two sugars.”
Aurora blinked.
The group immediately turned to look at her.
Kiara raised an eyebrow. “He didn’t even ask you.”
Milo just smirked. “Didn’t have to.”
Aurora stared at him, a mix of amusement and suspicion. “Have I become that predictable?”
Milo turned toward her, his smirk deepening. “Not predictable, Bug. I just pay attention.”
She narrowed her eyes. “Creepy.”
Milo chuckled, handing her the drink when it was ready. “You love me.”
Aurora took a slow, deliberate sip of her coffee. “Again Mi, the Jury’s still out.”
Spencer groaned. “You two flirt so much.”
“We’ve been saying this!” Sarah laughed
“We are not flirting,” Aurora and Milo said in unison.
The entire group rolled their eyes.
Fueled by caffeine, the group ventured into the city, stopping in every store that caught their interest.
The first stop was the thrift store Aurora and Kiara immediately made it their mission to find the ugliest sweaters possible.
“This one is atrocious,” Kiara announced, holding up a bright orange knit monstrosity with dancing reindeer.
Aurora cackled. “Milo. Try this on.”
Milo eyed the sweater warily. “That looks like something my grandma would force me to wear.”
“Exactly,” Aurora grinned, tossing it at him.
Meanwhile, Nick and Spencer were in a heated debate over a bedazzled jean jacket.
“You cannot pull this off,” Nick argued.
Spencer deadpanned. “I have kids to think about.”
“You don’t have kids.”
“You don’t know that.”
The Next stop a record store.
Sarah, ever the photographer, was snapping photos of everyone.
She caught Milo flipping through vinyl, Peyton balancing a ridiculous stack of albums, and Rainbow dramatically posing next to an old jukebox.
Aurora found a vintage Fleetwood Mac record, running her fingers over the worn cover.
Milo peered over her shoulder. “Classic Bug. Old soul.”
Aurora smirked. “I like good music, sue me.”
Sarah snapped a candid shot of them before Aurora could protest.
And then—
Sephora.
Milo groaned the second Aurora grabbed his wrist.
“No. Nope. Absolutely not.”
“Oh, yes,” Aurora said, already dragging him inside.
The others followed, highly entertained.
“You’re so dramatic,” Aurora teased, leading him toward the makeup displays.
Milo sighed. “I do not belong here.”
Aurora grinned. “Oh, you do now.”
Before he could protest, she grabbed his hand and flipped it palm-up, swiping a deep red lipstick across the back.
Milo just stared. “Did you just—”
“Yep.”
“Unbelievable.” Still, he didn’t pull away as she tested a few more shades
“You know they have paper swatches for this, right?”
She shrugged “where’s the fun in that?”
Milo smirked “so you just wanted an excuse to hold my hand?”
Aurora paused, Narrowing her eyes “do you ever stop?”
He grinned. “Not when it comes to you.”
“You’re so annoying.”
“It’s okay I know your game, Bug.” She rolled her eyes fighting the urge to shove him.
Rainbow, watching, started humming “Unwritten”.
Milo immediately joined in. “FEEL THE RAIN ON YOUR SKIN—”
Spencer groaned. “I swear to god, you two—”
It only got worse from there.
Milo and Rainbow started singing everything anyone said that reminded them of a song.
At one point, Peyton said, “We should grab a drink after this,” and Milo immediately launched into “bartender” by akon
By the time they left, Milo’s hand was covered in makeup swatches, and Spencer looked one second away from putting them all in time-out.
A small group of fans spotted them on the street.
“Milo! Aurora!”
Milo lit up immediately, turning toward them with a grin. “Hey, guys!”Aurora stepped back, watching as he immediately pulled them in for hugs.
“You guys having a good day?” he asked, voice warm and familiar, like he knew them.
A girl in a lavender sweater beamed. “This just made it way better.”
“D’awww,” Milo cooed, ruffling her hair. “You guys are too sweet.”
Aurora watched as he took selfies, signed things, and—of course—kissed one girl on the cheek, making her squeal.
Aurora shook her head. “You’re so ridiculous.”
Milo turned to her, still grinning. “Hey, don’t be jealous, Bug.”
One of the fans giggled. “You guys are such cute friends.”
Milo smirked. “Hear that? We’re cute.”
Aurora groaned. “Come on, Loverboy.”
After hours of wandering through thrift shops, record stores, and makeup aisles, the group found themselves standing at a crosswalk, the neon lights of the city casting a warm glow over them.
“I refuse to let this day end without a drink,” Nick declared, stretching his arms over his head. “We deserve a little celebration.”
Spencer checked his watch. “One drink. Then we all get some actual sleep.”
Milo smirked. “Look at you, Dad Mode activated.”
Spencer just rolled his eyes. “Someone has to be responsible.”
“Do they?” Peyton teased.
Sarah nudged Aurora. “What do you say, Bug? One drink?”
Aurora, still buzzing from the day, grinned. “Let’s do it.”
They ended up in a cozy little bar tucked between two towering buildings, the kind of place that wasn’t too loud but still had a steady hum of conversation and low music playing in the background. Edison bulbs hung from the ceiling, casting a golden glow over the dark wooden bar top.
Milo leaned against the counter, flashing the bartender his usual easygoing smile. “Alright, what’s everyone having?”
Orders started flying in—Spencer with his standard whiskey neat, Rainbow with a fruity cocktail, Kiara and Kristian opting for classic gin and tonics.
When it got to Aurora, she barely had time to open her mouth before Milo spoke up.
“She’ll have a spiced rum and coke.”
Aurora blinked. “Okay, seriously, how do you just know these things?”
Milo gave her a lazy grin. “Like I said earlier—I pay attention.”
Kiara smirked. “That’s a little suspicious.”
Milo winked at Aurora. “Maybe I’m just invested in Bug’s well-being.”
Aurora groaned. “You’re insufferable.”
Milo lifted his glass. “And yet, you’re still here.”
Nick raised his drink. “Alright, to chaotic friendships, successful press tours, and not getting lost in a mall again.” Milo pointedly avoided eye contact. Glasses clinked, and for a moment, everything just felt easy. No cameras, no schedules—just them, laughing, reminiscing, and enjoying the simple comfort of being together.
At some point, Aurora and Peyton got distracted by a dog sitting outside the window.
“Oh my god,” Payton gasped. “That puppy is so cute.”
Aurora practically melted against the bar. “Look at his little face.”
Kristian sighed. “That’s it. We’re never leaving.”
Meanwhile, Milo and Rainbow were still turning every casual statement into a song.
Spencer, exhausted, pinched the bridge of his nose. “If you two sing one more time—”
Rainbow smirked. “Oh no, guys, Spencer’s mad.”
Milo, without missing a beat, started singing “Mad” by Ne-Yo.
“So both of us are Mad for nothing!” He sung
Spencer groaned.
By the time they finished their drinks, the group was just tipsy enough to be giggly but not enough to make getting back to the hotel a struggle.
Milo, ever the gentleman (or so he claimed), offered Aurora his arm as they stepped out into the chilly night air.
“Shall we, Bug?”
Aurora rolled her eyes but took it anyway. “You are so dramatic.”
Milo grinned. “And yet, we’re still best friends.”
She didn’t respond.
But she also didn’t let go.
Back at the hotel, the group split off to their respective rooms, exhausted but still buzzing from the day. Aurora sighed, kicking off her shoes as she stepped into her room, only to hear a knock at her door before she even had a chance to sit down.
She didn’t even have to ask who it was.
With a knowing smirk, she swung the door open. “Couldn’t survive five minutes without me?”
Milo leaned against the doorframe, arms crossed, that familiar grin tugging at his lips. “Busted. What can I say? I need my daily dose of Bug time.”
Aurora rolled her eyes still took his hand to head to his room knowing he’d drag her there at some point eventually.
“Also,” he added, flopping down dramatically onto his bed, “I figured we should probably eat before we pass out. What’s the move? Room service or takeout?”
Aurora stretched, glancing at the bedside clock. “Room service takes forever. Takeout?”
Milo pulled out his phone, already scrolling. “Okay, what are we feeling? Pizza? Sushi? Burgers?”
Aurora flopped onto the bed beside him, peering at his screen. “Mmm… Chinese?”
Milo smirked. “You always go for Chinese.”
“Because it’s elite.”
Milo chuckled. “Fine, fine. What’s your order?”
Aurora didn’t even get a chance to answer before Milo tapped on the screen.
“Sesame chicken, extra sauce, fried rice, and an egg roll.”
She blinked. “Okay, you seriously need to stop memorizing my orders.”
Milo just wiggled his eyebrows. “Admit it. You’re impressed.”
Aurora grabbed a pillow and smacked him with it. “Creeped out is more like it.”
Milo laughed, shielding himself. “Hey! It’s not creepy! I just pay attention.”
“Yeah, yeah,” Aurora muttered, but she was smiling.
They finished ordering, and while they waited, Milo rolled onto his side, propping himself up on one elbow.
“So. Highlight of the day?”
Aurora thought for a moment. “Probably taking you into Sephora and using your hand as a makeup palette. That was very satisfying.”
Milo held up his hand, which still had faint traces of swatches. “You ruined me.”
“Oh, please. You liked it.”
Milo smirked. “I liked you holding my hand, sure.”
Aurora groaned, shoving his face away. “You cannot be serious this late at night.”
Milo just grinned. “What about you? Favorite moment?
Milo exhaled, staring up at the ceiling for a second. Then he looked at her, softer this time. “Honestly? Probably when we met those fans. I love how excited they get. Makes all the crazy stuff worth it.”
Aurora smiled. “You are kind of a golden retriever when it comes to them.”
Milo scoffed. “Excuse me?”
“You just—” Aurora gestured vaguely at him. “You love people. Like, really love them. You go all in, full hugs, cheek kisses, the whole thing. It’s kinda cute.”
Milo wiggled his brows. “You think I’m cute?”
Aurora groaned. “I walked into that one.”
He chuckled, nudging her shoulder. “You make it too easy, Bug.”
“And yes Mi, you’re cute.”
Before he could retaliate, a knock sounded at the door.
Milo hopped up. “Food’s here!”
He grabbed the bags from the delivery guy and plopped back onto the bed, setting the containers between them.
They dug in immediately, Aurora stealing an egg roll from Milo’s container without hesitation.
Milo gasped, clutching his chest. “Betrayal.”
Aurora took a slow, exaggerated bite. “You love me anyway.”
Milo rolled his eyes, but he was smiling.
They ate in comfortable silence for a few minutes, watching some random late-night TV show on the hotel screen. At some point, Aurora pulled a blanket over her lap, leaning against the headboard.
Milo nudged her knee with his. “Tired?”
Aurora yawned, stretching. “A little. It’s been a long day.”
Milo reached over, tucking a stray strand of hair behind her ear. “Wanna sleep?”
Aurora sighed. “Mmm. But I should probably get back to my room.”
Milo didn’t move, just watched her for a second before shaking his head. “Nah. Just crash here.”
Aurora hesitated, glancing at him. “You sure?”
Milo gave her a lazy grin. “Yeah, Rora. I don’t mind.”
Aurora rolled her eyes but settled deeper into the pillows.
Milo grabbed the remote, lowering the volume. “Sleep well, bug.”
And for once, she didn’t argue.
—
The soft light of morning filtered through the heavy curtains, casting a gentle glow over the room. Aurora’s eyes fluttered open, the warmth of the blanket surrounding her feeling comforting and familiar. She shifted slightly, but something didn’t feel quite right.
It took her a moment to realize why—there was an arm wrapped securely around her waist.
Her first instinct was to freeze. But as her mind caught up with the situation, she slowly turned her head, heart skipping a beat as she realized why she felt so secure. Milo’s face was inches from hers, his head resting on the pillow next to hers. His arm was draped over her, his body tangled up with hers in a way that should’ve felt awkward but instead felt completely natural.
Aurora's chest tightened for a moment.
But the warmth of Milo’s body next to hers was too comforting, too calming. She slowly breathed in, feeling his steady breaths against her cheek. He was sound asleep, his face relaxed, his lips barely parted in a peaceful expression that was a far cry from his usual playful, teasing grin. She felt the beat of his heart beneath her skin, their bodies still intertwined in a way that felt more intimate than anything they’d shared before.
Her breath caught, and for a long moment, Aurora just laid there, her body still, trying to process everything without waking him. She could hear the soft rhythm of his breathing, the way his arm tightened around her waist every time she shifted slightly.
She should move. She should get up and slide out of his embrace. But the way his body held onto hers so effortlessly made it hard to pull away.
There was something about waking up like this—so close, so tangled with him—that felt different. There were no cameras, no fans, no schedule looming over them. Just this quiet morning, the weight of the world momentarily gone.
Aurora tried to adjust, but as she did, Milo groaned softly in his sleep, his grip tightening around her waist instinctively. His lips brushed against her hair, a soft exhale slipping from him.
Aurora couldn’t help but smile at the softness of it all. She had never imagined waking up like this, not with Milo. They had their playful moments, their teasing banter, but this—this was different.
Her thoughts were interrupted when Milo shifted slightly, blinking sleepily as his eyes cracked open. For a brief moment, there was only silence.
Then his eyes met hers, still blurry with sleep, but a smile tugged at the corners of his lips. “Morning, Bug,” he murmured, his voice rough with sleep.
Aurora’s breath hitched, her heart racing even though she tried to remain casual. She swallowed, a slight blush creeping up her neck. “Morning,” she replied softly.
There was a beat of silence, just the two of them in this tiny bubble of quiet. Neither one moved to pull away. Neither one seemed to want to.
Finally, Milo blinked again, his voice teasing despite the grogginess. “So… this is what it looks like when you actuallyfall asleep on me, huh?”
Aurora laughed softly, her fingers lightly grazing the back of his hand where it rested on her side. “Or maybe you just can’t stay away from me?.”
Milo smirked. “Uh-huh. Sure, Bug. Keep telling yourself that.”But his tone was soft, his thumb gently brushing across her skin.
Aurora stared at him for a moment, and she could see it—the way his eyes were a little more vulnerable than usual, the way he seemed more real, more present in a way that felt different from their usual back-and-forth.
For a moment, she felt the tension rise between them. A question hung in the air, unspoken but understood. Was this just a moment of vulnerability? A one-off slip-up, or was it something more?
But before she could say anything, Milo gently pulled her closer, as if he couldn’t help himself. He tucked his face into her hair, his voice barely above a whisper.
“Stay for a while, s’last day I’m gonna see you for at least a month,” he said, and for a fleeting moment, there was a quiet softness to him that Aurora wasn’t sure how to handle.
She didn’t answer right away. Instead, she let herself fall into the comfort of his arms, allowing the stillness of the morning to wash over her.
“Don’t remind me.”

You begin walking to the car music blaring through your headphones as you look down to adjust your Walkman in your pocket. Unbeknownst to you a car is speeding in the car park. A senior showing of his new car speeds in the parking lot and then BANG instantly collecting you. You get fling over the car and land directly on your head.
You slowly open your eyes and things are all a blur. All you see is the dark night sky and red and blue lights. You slowly get up; you see a big crowd in the parking lot all huddled in the middle and looking down at the ground almost as if they were looking for something.
“Y/N? Y/N” you hear your name being called in the distance. For a moment you thought it was Wally. You get up and walk over to the crowd of people and you try to make your way through. You squeeze past people, but they pretend you’re not even there. You make your way to the centre and see your mom screaming and crying and she’s holding something. You look closer and realise it you. Confusion instantly washes over you. How are you on the floor there when you were standing right here. “Mom, Mom I’m right here can’t you see me?” you say frantically. All the sudden the voice you heard before is right behind you. It was Wally. “Wally, what the fuck I just saw you die, how are you here?” “I don’t know. All I know is that I was playing the game then I woke up and I saw you and everyone over me in a circle. Then I saw 3 other people that I have never seen before talk to me and said I was dead.” Wally said still confused and worried. “Wait if your dead and my body’s over there and I’m here does that make me- “
“A ghost like me. Yeah.” Wally said as he cut you off. The world around you becomes a haze as you revel with the news that you are dead. That you now are a ghost and so is Wally and a bunch of other ghosts? “Huh what? I was just there listening to our song how could I be dead?” Another man with two girls walk to you and he extends his arms. “I know you two must have a lot of questions, come with us and we will talk about it.” The man in the suit that looked something your Uncle Henry would wear. “I know you guys must be scared; I was too when I first found out I died. Trust me it gets better.” The girl with red hair said as the other girl next to her with the paper boy hat didn’t say a word as she directs you and Wally back into the school.
You and Wally and the others walk into school as the man introduces himself. “Hello, Mr Martin. I like to formally welcome you both to your new life or should I say afterlife” Both stunned to what Mr Martin just said. “Hi, I’m Janet and this is Rhonda.” The girl with the red hair says as she holds her hand out to shake which both you and Wally do. “I suppose we don’t need to give you a tour since you went to this school” Mr Martin laughs clearly trying to break the silence. Neither you nor Wally laugh.
“Um yeah hi, nice to meet you all but what are we doing here? If we are dead, aren’t we I, don’t I know supposed to be you know in heaven?” You snap back at Mr Martin as Wally just stands there quietly. “That’s the thing with this school we have no idea why we are trapped here, we just are. If you try to leave the school grounds you get, put back to where you died.” Mr Martin explained ignoring your snappiness. “No, that ridiculous what do you mean we are stuck here?” Wally expressed as he pushes his hair back with one hand and the other on his hip. “It means quarterback if you try to leave school some force, we don’t know about pushes you back to the place you died” Rhonda snarled already bored of the conversation. She walks off down the hall towards the teachers’ lounge. “Ignore her, she gets a bit cranky when she has to explain what has happened to us to new people.” Janet says as she turns to you. “Wait others? There’s more ghosts?” you express. “Yeah, I know it’s a lot, but you will be ok.” Janet says as she starts to walk down the all the same direction Rhonda went.
You and Wally are confused as you look at each other in shock. This is really happening, you and he are dead, there are other ghosts that haunt your school, and you can’t leave the school grounds because some force will send you back to the spot you died. “Well, I’ll let you get settled, its already late and I have to prepare for our group session tomorrow” Mr Martin says and walks away before either of you could respond.
“This is bullshit, they can’t tell us what to do. I’m leaving this place. Are you with me?” Wally raises is voice with furry. “Wally, I think they were telling the truth that we can’t leave.” You respond calmly not wanting to start a fight between you too. “We need to figure that out ourselves. I don’t trust them, not just yet. Please Y/N, come with me.” He looks at you eager for you to respond. You not knowing what to do you agree with him. He’s right who’s to say they are telling the truth about all of this. You had to make sure of it yourselves. “Ok Wally, I’m with you. But maybe you should change into something else besides your football uniform” “I think I have some sweats and my varsity jacket in the boy’s locker room.” Wally says and you and he start walking in the direction of the boys’ lockers. You wait outside and wait for him to change. Once he’s finished you both decide to head to the main entrance of the school and try to leave whatever nightmare you both woke up in., he takes your hand as you reach the end of the school property. You both at the same time walk across and… bam you are by yourself starting up at the sky in the school parking lot. Great just great you thought they were telling the truth that means Wally is on the football field you get up and run towards the field and you see Wally was already running towards you. “Well, I guess they were right, we can’t leave. This is so fucked” Wally expressed as you finally met. “It’s ok Wally, I’m scared too but I think we have to learn to trust those guys. By the way they are dressed they look like they have been here for a while.” You respond back and worry washes over you still in shock and in disbelief that this is happening. “Ok your right. Let’s go back inside and find somewhere to rest because I sure as hell I’ve got a lot of questions for them.” Wally says in a calmer tone then before.
You both head back inside and then Wally remembers something. “Hey Y/N, you said before the homecoming game you wanted to tell me something, what was it?” “Oh, umm it doesn’t matter I was just going to ask if you wanted to go to the diner after the game for some ice-cream before we went back to your place.” You respond back. That was the quickest you’ve ever come up with a lie before because now is not the right time to tell him your feelings when you both are so vulnerable right now. He nods not saying anything as you continue to walk around the school trying to find somewhere to rest… wait do we even need to rest if we are dead? You keep that thought to yourself as you and wally head to the library remembering there’s couches there.
Part 2 Part 4
Part 7
Wally Clark x fem reader Y/N
Summary: It’s the day of yours and Wally’s joint memorial service at school and you see your family for what maybe the last time.
The next few days go in a blur. Mr. Martin is trying to get you to open up about yourself, to share things about yourself and how you are coping. You’re not really. After the dance when the principal mentioned a memorial reality hit like a train. I’m dead. It’s not a dream I’m dead and so is Wally. You are not the only one struggling to talk about yourself in group, Wally is too. He’s shared with you some things, but you can tell he’s holding back maybe the same reason why I am too.
Wednesday arrives it’s the day of your joint memorial service. Teachers and students have been all over the gym setting y up chairs and bringing in flowers. And before you know it, it’s time to start. The other ghosts are already sitting down with you and Wally. The doors open and students and staff pile into the room and then you notice your parents and your sister Mary. They look like they haven’t slept at all, even from a distance you can tell. Mary is quiet which is not like her she’s normally the loud 14-year-old girl who loved horses and music you’ve never seen her sad until now. You don’t even realise but you have been crying ever since your family walked into the gym. Wally sitting beside you puts him arm around you to comfort you. Wally’s parents are next to arrive, and they look just as devastated as your parents. The gym was filled with all your favourite things. Your favourite flowers, books you love, things with your favourite colour and endless photos of you and Wally around. There were footballs and other sports Wally loves, posters of his favourite music groups. All the special things of you and his life around the gym.
The room goes quiet as Mr Smith heads to the stage. “Good morning, everyone, today is going to be tough as we mourn and celebrate the lives of Y/N and Wally Clark. If you could turn your attention to the projection screen, we have made a photo montage of them.” Photos of you and Wally are shared on the screen along with music. Photos of when you two were young all the way up until your last photo together which happened to be 2 days before your deaths. Tears fill your eyes as you run out the room not being able to handle it. it’s your own memorial, you’re not meant to see it but because you are stuck in this ‘in between’ you must witness not only your own pain, but also your family’s and even Wally’s. You leave tears still streaming down your face and air struggling to get to your lungs you just walk as for as your legs will take you before you can’t walk anymore and you drop to the floor, put your head between your hands and bring your knees close to your chest as you sob.
“Hey Darling.” Wally says as he finds you. He crouches down next to you and puts his arm around you. “Well, I guess it’s my turn to be the mess and be embarrassing. I knew it was going to be hard but that-“ you can’t even finish what you are saying as you choke on your words. You feel a lump at the back on your throat. “It’s ok darling, we can get through this. No one besides the other ghosts the sat through their own memorial before” He whispers. Wally has always called you Darling for as long as you remember but now something makes you feel different. Not in a bad way but maybe in a good way. Before you know it, your memorial is over, and you can see your family in the hall as they make their way to the parking lot. This may be the last time you see your family that is until Mary starts high school, so you follow them, just to be near them. You try to speak to talk to them to let them know you are ok… well okish but they can’t hear you. They get to their car and leave. Overwhelmed with emotions you drop to your knees sobbing uncontrollably. Maybe it was time to try to share and talk about my emotions with group.
You take minute to stop crying, you and Wally head back inside. “Wally is it ok if I just have some alone time?” you ask as you make your way down to the teachers’ lounge seemingly where all the other ghosts like to hang out. “I don’t like the idea of you being by yourself when you have been in such a state. He replies. “I will be ok, nothing bad is going to happen, I’m already dead. You silently laugh. “At least tell me where you will be so if I need to, I can check on you. Wally responds. You can tell he’s emotional too. “I’ll be in our spot on the roof, I will be ok I just need a minute to myself. You know how I get when I get overwhelmed. Wally nods as he walks to the teachers’ lounge, and you head in the opposite direction. You get to the roof, and you expect yourself to burst into more tears but to your surprise you don’t. you just sit there quietly watch the world go by, something you need to get used to since you don’t know how long you will be trapped here.
