i know. i've made many posts in the past asking for help with money, but hopefully this will be the last of the angolmois ebegging posts saga. in the past, i was very unprepared for most situations i was asking for money for. i didn't have a job, nor any help from my parents, and i was younger. this time i'm actually somewhat prepared, not financially, but i know what i'm doing now, and i have a job.
i'm planning to move out of california entirely, i'm currently in a temporary housing program for homeless youth (which by the way, sucks ass. the men in here are disgusting and i feel so unsafe) and i'm working on saving up money. the issue i've been running into is the fact that literally everything in california is like, 2x as expensive as it would be elsewhere, and i can't really handle workdays more than 6 hours, nor does my job schedule me for long all that often. it's hard to even just go buy myself enough groceries for a week without it costing a good chunk of my paycheck, and i only get paid twice a month. i also have to pay for bus fares to and from work, to get around anywhere really.
my goal is to save up at the least $8,000, but i'd prefer to have $10,000. my only issue is that goal may be hard to reach on my own in the span of a few months, when my paychecks usually are only around $200-$300, i'm not scheduled often, and i'm being required to move out of the program by november, specifically the 28th.
i'll only ask for help with $5,000 of the 10k though, so please if you can, consider sending a couple bucks my way, or just reblog this post. i'll be updating this post throughout the year, so genuinely and truly, there is no rush and anything will help me.

The US National Black Doll Museum closed their doors due to Covid-19, and they lost their physical location.
During the month of February 2022, which is Black History Month in the US, they are trying to raise $100,000 for a new physical location in Attleboro, MA (USA). Please consider donating. You do not need to choose any of the default amounts. Click "Just helping" at top right (after clicking the support button) and type in the amount you would like to give. If 8,500 people gave $10 USD each, they would meet their fundraising goal. Donations are tax-deductible charitable donations in the US.
Also - please consider reblogging/boosting.
bad things about The Dark Knight Rises:
- Bane is whitewashed
- Bane's luchador-inspired mask (which is significant since he is Latino) is changed to a crappy looking apparatus that is supposed to act as some kind of anesthetic device?
- in the final confrontation between Batman and Bane, Batman purposely targets and destroys this mask in order to bring Bane down by forcing him to be overwhelmed by his unbearable chronic pain. yikes.
- Bane's main motivation is reduced to wanting to destroy Gotham because Talia wants to because Ras Al Ghul wanted to? and then instead of just destroying it Bane wants to draw it out for some reason? and he does this by creating a pseudo-revolution that the filmmakers seemed to include just so they could show how "bad" revolutions are? idk man.
good things about The Dark Knight Rises:
- i guess the allusions to A Tale of Two Cities were interesting but it also didn't really go anywhere so. yeah.
conclusion: 1/10
