So fucking cool and smart and funny and handsome and pretty and cute and I think it’s divine to reject your own body in favor of your own path in life and all of them are so fucking brave for being trans in a world that would beat them up and spit on their wounds if given half a chance and yet so many of them are proud of who they are and that’s beautiful in such a simple way and I love every trans person so much but then again I’m biased :P

It's kind of fucked how the original Scandal in Bohemia is essentially about a woman being harassed by her wealthy and politically powerful ex when all she wants to do is mind her business and move on with her life, and every single adaptation that isn't a line-by-line recreation of the short story turns her into a self-serving Femme Fatale con artist criminal, like fuck the only crime she committed was being poorer than her boyfriend.

She doesn't want to fuck sherlock and sherlock doesn't want to fuck her either.

The people around us are highly homophobic and transphobic, which leads to our isolation. Even doctors refuse to provide us with proper medical care. Some of us were born with HIV, but we do not receive enough treatment and support due to the discrimination we face.

There are times when we go for days without food or essential supplies. Life here is extremely difficult, and we struggle to survive in an environment where we are rejected by the very people who should be helping us..

EDIT: do not mail your ballots now! It's too late to mail them, check your county's rules for returning them to get them counted. You may be able to drop them off at a ballot box or voting site.

Be aware that there are limits on who can return them, and that you may need to provide ID. Check your county's website before you go.

Additionally, you don't have to tell people how you voted. You can lie! They will never know.

And vote the whole ballot! I know it's a lot, but it is so important. It helps how our schools are run, how your local police department is run, and even the potholes in your area.

Not to mention the citizen-submitted bills/propositions!
