This image was submitted to GhostHauntings.org by a policeman named Roy. Roy, who is also an amateur photographer, says he came across this abandoned truck on Honey Run Road located in Chico, California. The image shows what looks to be a ghostly face peering out the passenger side of the truck.
Roy says that prior to snapping the photo, he looked inside the truck and saw nobody. Thinking he was seeing what was left of the truck’s sliding back window, Roy sent the image to be examined. After studying the photo, examiners ruled out Roy’s theory and believe the image to be genuine.
Despite the examiners’ conclusion, some still believe the face is nothing more than an optical illusion. What do you think? Did this police officer photograph an actual ghost? Or is this simply a case of pareidolia?

Your regular commercial airliner, like a Boeing 747 is fast. A super-spy jet like the SR-71 Blackbird is much faster than that, traveling at over three times the speed of sound. So how does a deep-space probe like New Horizons, which recently flew past Pluto, compare? Thanks to this animation, you can see it’s very, very fast indeed!

The seventh row of the Periodic Table of Elements is now complete, rendering all textbooks out of date. The discovered elements don’t have permanent names yet, but their atomic numbers are 113, 115, 117 and 118.
Livermore Lab scientists and international collaborators have officially discovered three of the four new elements: 115, 117 and 118. The illustration above is of 117, tentatively named ununseptium or Uus.
The new elements’ existence was confirmed by further experiments that reproduced them — however briefly. Element 113, for instance, exists for less than a thousandth of a second.
