Great Day For The Leclers
I really feel for Liam Lawson. He got his chance last year and proved himself, only to have it taken away. While I have a lot of love for Daniel Ricciardo, Liam truly deserves a spot on the grid. We've seen his potential, and he deserves a real opportunity. As a reserve driver for one of the top teams, he has shown he can deliver. Although I hate seeing drivers leave, Liam deserves his place on the grid.
GET IT HAMILTON!
Lmao i wanna say gg everybody
Props to Zhou for P9🫶🫶
Okay so a few months back, maybe two, I read a really cute fluff fic about Liam Lawson- where the reader was helping him dye his hair- long story short- I didn’t like it then and I am craving that fic like a MFR- so please help me find it-

This might be a very unpopular opinion, but I feel like Lando has been potentially mixing up keeping his childish/boyish charm with immaturity. And I don't think it's a purposeful thing, but it has happened. And I hesitate to say he's annoying, but some of his actions have rubbed me the wrong way. Don't get me wrong, I think he has a great work ethic, and we've seen he likes to talk to the workers and is humble, but I also think he's not as in tuned with how ruthless and practical the world is, much less the Formula One world.
Lando is also from money, and not in the same way Lance is. His father helped build one of the most successful pension companies in the UK, and even retired at age 36. Lando is the 101th richest person in the UK, allegedly, and the Stroll family is the only family on the grid that is richer than the Norris family. The Sainz family's money mostly came from Sainz Sr 's success. Max's family's money comes from his father's racing career, and his mother's racing. Even the Schumacher family's money comes from Micheal's racing. All of these families rank under the Norris family.
He, and I've said this before talking about Carlos, has a level on entitlement that he was born with due to his surroundings and upbringing. He's used to money, used to seeing it move pieces, but there's a limit to that, and we're seeing that now with the 2024 season. I think he's feeling a bit miffed about his limited success, especially when you have Oscar coming in. Oscar is an insane talent, very much like Charels and Max in a way. He's got a lot of support both from fans and his family and team, behind him, and that's extremely important as a driver.
Also, Lando is used to being the younger one in the team. Yes, Oscar does seem very mature and it heightens the contrast between the two, but it makes their dynamic a little weird. They balance each other out well, but Lando can't claim his actions look normal because he is younger, as he's a year older, I think closer to a year and a half older. He also is the youngest boy in the family. And, despite having two younger siblings, being born a boy is still ingrained in the general unconscious as being better than being a daughter. (And I know that's not the way it is in a lot of families, but its been ingrained in our history for so long, it's very hard to get rid of it.). That means he's potentially been pampered a bit more than normal.
In general, he's being hit with the hammer of reality and it's not going well for him, and this is how he reacts. I like Lando, and his speaking up about mental health was so important to me. I was diagnosed with chronic insomnia, general anxiety disorder, and major depressive disorder late 2020, early 2021. I know how depression and mental health struggles can tear down a person, and him bringing it up and bringing it to light was so important to me. But, there is the issue called reality that is going to destroy him if he doesn't realize that boyish charm and immaturity are two different sides of the same coin.
