Oz slid a piece of paper over to Logan who looked at him confused Oz pushed his glasses up smiling at the young boy

He had noticed how little Logan's mom's were around and looked into it Oz didn't like what he found so his going to take Logan in

"I'm having a child" Oz clasped his hands together Logan tilted his head looking more confused

"Uh congrats Mr Oz?" Logan isn't sure why Mr Oz is telling him this or what the paper is

"No my boy you're the child sign the adoption papers please" Oz hated the way Logan looked shocked that someone wanted him "if you wish that is"

'You....want me?" Logan watched Mr Oz nod he hiccuped grabbing the pen signing the papers as he starred crying no ones really wanted him around

"Oh Logan it's alright" Oz has never been tempted to hit a woman but right now his tempted to hit Logan's mothers for what they've put him through

"C-can I call you dad?" Logan rubbed at his eyes while Oz had to keep it together

"Yes my boy you may call me dad if you wish" Oz is NEVER giving Logan's mom's him back Logan is his son only now

Izzie leaned against Logan she doesn't know why Mateo can't like him now sure he was a turkey but once you got to know him Logan was actually pretty fun!

Though Mateo didn't get it she's pretty sure Cooper didn't either Zoey? Maybe but she's kinda odd with things so Izzie isn't sure on it

But what she is sure of is that Logan changed he had just needed an actual friend and Izzie was that friend for some reason to Logan

"Hey thinking to hard" Logan poked her face "You literally made a thought bubble"

"Wha!?" Izzie looked up and yeah she has a thought bubble that's so cool!

"Whatcha thinking about so hard?" Logan isn't sure he really wants to know but Izzie is his friend so it couldn't hurt to ask her about this

"Just how Teo and Cooper aren't really giving you a chance" Izzie sighed before frowning when she felt Logan shurg

"Don't blame them Iz I'm not the best person to them" And Logan knows that for a fact but it's nice to have Izzie upset on his behalf

"Lo-lo you totally deserve a shot!" Logan snorted when Izzie puffed her cheeks out she was silly but a good friend to him

Okay so I have been reminded of something. So, There have been multiple times Kai's been referred to as selfish. While I do not know the context for all of these moments, I know there has not been a single moment in the show outside of the stuff with him wanting to be the green, ninja and S1 along with the stuff that regarding the element staff back in S4.

There have been multiple times to work Kai has died or has made it very clear that he would die to protect another member of the team.

Some examples of these:

Back in S4 literally in the first episode of the season Kai said something that roughly meant "I should have died instead of Zane". Whoever Lloyd cuts him off saying "First it was being the green ninja now this can't you think about someone other than yourself?"

Despite not knowing how to swim towards the end of S5, Kai was the only one out of the ninja that could/ would swim because they wouldn't or would be less likely to die from it who was willing and did jump into the water to save Lloyd from drowning, Cole didn't jump into the water because if he did he would have died so he wouldn't have been much help. Meanwhile, Jay and Zane were fighting Moro leaving the ghost and the guy who can't swim to save Lloyd

KAI PRETTY MUCH RAISED HIS SISTER EVER SINCE THEIR PARENTS WENT MISSING/ GOT KIDNAPPED BY THE TIME TWINS.

KAI HAS SAVED LLOYD'S LIFE LIKE THREE TIMES!

IN DR KAI DIED TO SAVE NYA, WYLDFYRE, AND THE REST OF THE TEAM THAT WERE THERE!

If I didn't know any of this and this would have gotten brought up to me, I would have been annoyed as heck because this is a man who is willing to die for his friends yet they call him and have labeled him selfish when he has directly said that he would have died instead of Zane (causing Nya to lose her brother and only family that she knew was alive), has risked his life like three times to save Lloyd, And pretty much raised his sister yet. He's called selfish. The only one who hasn't done this is Zane and the only other people who haven't are some of the newer characters introduced in Dr. Who don't exactly see him that way. Seriously if I had to say how some of the new characters see Kai, I would say:

Arin: He wouldn't call Kai selfish. If anything, he'd be the kind of person that would glare at the other ninja because of things like risking his life to save Lloyd on multiple occasions saying that he would have been willing to die in Zane's place and even raising his sister even though he was like at the youngest four when his parents went missing. If anything, Arin would look up to this guy because he's gone through hell and back but is still willing to do anything for his team and sister even if they think he's selfish but he's only technically been selfish twice

Sora: very similar thing to Kai, but because she wouldn't have pretty much any of the context of all of the stuff that happened without being told stories of it or directly seeing some of the records from the cloud Kingdom (which I doubt you'd even get access to, unless Euphrasia gave her the access because Euphrasia might but not likely). So pretty much Sora would be the same thing as Arin but because she would be straight with no biases towards him because she isn't even from Ninjago!

Wyldfyre: She would see Kai as well. A father figure. Sure, he may not be the best dad in the world, but hey he's trying and he's not a terrible dad again. He's not the best either but no one's perfect. To be honest, I feel like if she ever learned about pretty much every member of the team calling Kai selfish at least once she would just go ballistic because she doesn't see him as selfish. She sees him as someone who's willing to and has died to save her and other people's lives. Directly saying that he would have died in Zane's place. Sure that would have left Nya without her brother But the world would be safe, He's risked his life on at least three different occasions to save Lloyd, back in the fire temple because it was about to erupt because for some reason it was put in a volcano, And despite not knowing how to swim being the only one out of the two that weren't fighting Morro who could have actually gone into the water to save Lloyd and he did that despite not even knowing how to swim. Then of course there's the time he actually died saving Nya and the rest of the team. And well sure he died at that point. His sister didn't need him and Wyldfyre had heatwave plus the rest of the team to keep her safe. Let me tell you when you know your dad is willing to die for you. You know he's a good dad and you know he's an extremely good dad when he has died for you!

Euphrasia: It's likely she's seen the scroll that Kai's Destiny was written on. She knows he's not selfish and the only times he has been was because of my adulteration because of the staff and when he wanted to be the green ninja. Outside of that, he's wrist his life more times than she's willing to count and has been willing to die for the team pretty much ever since Lloyd became the green ninja. Yet they refer to him as selfish. She doesn't get it.

Seriously I want this to be brought up in the show and for someone to go ballistic on the rest of the team because this mine has been willing to die for them pretty much ever since Lloyd became the green ninja and they took him for granted, not realizing who they had with them. Someone who cared for them a lot and was willing to die for them, even willing to die in the place of another member of the team when he died that one time, And yet every time they've called him selfish, he's seemingly never cared, still caring for them and willing to die for them. You can call him selfish after he's died to save his sister the rest of his team and at that point pretty much adopted daughter. If anything, he was selfless down to his very damn soul. And if anyone tries to tell me anything else I will punch you!

1) if you were writting the show how would include Jay’s bio parents or if at all keeping his adoption? (means he’s Ed/Edna’s bio son)

2) how would you do Cole’s relationship with his dad if Lily were to still pass away? Or have her live?

Well for one thing I'd have Libber trapped in the prime empires game Jay meets her there and another Cliff doesn't die let Jay have four parents lol

Now Lilly I'd have her get super sick still and almost die give Cole a sad backstory but keep his mom Lou & Cole would still argue but normal shit no running away

Libber did run from something not sure what but was attacked Jay was left at the Walker's as Libber led the attackers away she ended up on the run for a bit until they got her and when they thought she was dead threw her into some water which ended up with her washing up near Kai & Nya's home Nya is the one who finds her and with Kai's help they dragged her back home and Kai while grumpy did nurse Libber back ta health while she was outta it

Okay! So them my beloveds!

Dareth:

• I'd have him run the dojo still HOWEVER I'd make it more of a wrestling (or kick boxing) type dojo I feel like Dareth and his body type would be good for it?

• He'd take more of a fun older brother role for the gang helping them with their struggles

• Like when the whole Nya Jay fights happen (but healthy) Dareth helps them both understand where the other is coming drom

• And his NOT sexists in any way! His our loveable big brother

Ronin:

• okay so hear me out he takes Kai AND Nya under his wing only bc I liked Nya & Ronin's whole thing (until someone ruined it!) and I feel like Ronin can help Kai as well

• Ronin would still be a thief but he doesn't back stab the ninjas at all (he does with Wu tho) his got a soft spot for kids

• Ronin is like a mix of a fun/strict older brother for the gang he helps them find out things ta help but if it's ta dangerous he'll put them in a time out box for no danger bs

• Ronin gets a way better redemption (look I remembered now!) arc where he saves Nya from becoming one with the sea

Toxica:

• I'd give her some more lines firstly and flesh out her character more

• She'd be more protective over the girls on the island keeping an eye on them

• She'll also take Nya (and later Skylor) under her wing so they can have a cool gal as a teacher/role model

• Toxica also gets a gf in Camille and is a SIMP

Camille:

• Oh her powers would definitely be explored more! She'd however take Garmadon under her wing there

• She'd be able ta help him with getting used ta the change in his body again and they'd become quick friends

• Camille is like a fun big sister who'd kick yer ass for being a useless gay

• She'd also be useful if the whole evil Chen & Clouse thing still happens given she can change forms

Shade:

• He definitely doesn't hit on Nya! None of that here....he does however hit on Garmadon (I think it'd be funny-)

• Shade's powers come in handy ta get information on what's happening around the island

• Also he can hide in others shadows bc well yes

• his a pretty cool guy overall and helps the gang out

Neuro:

• Now he was tricky I liked how he was in canon HOWEVER one thing I'd do is make him the gangs therapist

• Neuro's power is also used ta get any missing information bout the tournament and island

• I also allow him ta melt brains if need be

• And,,,,he/they Neuro supremacy

Mr. Pale:

• NOW HEAR ME OUT HERE making him Shade's twin

• He takes Jay under his wing surprisingly and helps Jay figure out more bout himself

• Pale is more of a healer than fighter in my opinion

• I give him a gun tho

Karlof:

• Bear I mean um! He takes Cole under his wing becoming like an older brother/uncle figure

• Their elements are so similar yet different so they'd work well together

• Karlof doesn't do the whole coat thing like in canon his just vibing peacefully bc leave that man alone

• Anywho! Karlof would have probably (in my opinion) lived in a snowy cold area before the tournament happens

Jacob:

• Make him blind look idk why but it's interesting with his element

• Again! His powers would be useful ta help get information

• Jacob ends up befriending Garmadon as well the two are a nice duo

• Jacob also smokes don't ask me why

Griffin:

• Okay him and Lloyd are a duo the chaos they'd bring? Beautiful

• Anywho Griffin surprisingly is a librarian in my thoughts

• So him Neuro and Zane would bond over that

• But he ends up teaching Kai and Lloyd anything they missed out on for school on the sides

Gravis:

• His pretty tricky however! He and Zane are a duo they'd be interesting ta see

• Gravis is pretty chill has some anxiety but overall keeps a level head

• Still he'd be the first ta ask why the fuck are there "kids" here at a tournament ta go against adult's not that he thinks the ninjas can't fight just doesn't enjoy the idea of them having ta fight more adults

• Gravis does befriend Zane once Gravis loses and helps start getting Zane back

Bolobo:

• Now this might seem wild but him and Kai as a duo

• Bolobo is Jacob's weed supplier tho he grows it himself

• He and Ash are somewhat childhood friends let the adults have friends from child hood and all that

• Bolobo is kinda laid back and can get some information bout the island through the plants

Ash:

• Ash idk why but he'd have worked as a bartender before the tournament

• He 💯 knows Kai from after Zane dies and Kai spiraled

• Ash doesn't really say anything bout it but keeps an eye on Kai and the others

• Also he 💯 blows ash in someone's eyes it's happening one way or another

Okay so I didn't expect my lil rant ta get so much views so! Here I am with some mini ideas on a remake of the OG show! And the movie just a bit:

• even amount of seasons ta explore everyone's flaws and arcs

• I thought bout it and the movie itself while interesting I'm thinking of instead Lloyd having lived with Nya & Kai (totally not ta get him a better childhood never....it is)

• Nya would still be kidnapped but for an actual purpose given she knows where Lloyd is so it's not just um yeah we making shit up as we go

• I'm debating with Wu but I'd keep him the way he is for the most part

• He'd be better in canon but his got so many problems he doesn't know how ta tell his students things

• Wu still tries ta help and actually helps them learn things while still being kids

• Morro would've still died but Wu learned from his mistakes

• Morro still would be a bad guy but his problem with Lloyd wouldn't happen instead his anger is all directed at Wu

• After that Wu would actually get the therapy and help he needs ta get

• Morro would get his good character (totally remember how ta spell the actual word-) arc and help Cole out

• And Lloyd DOESN'T fight Garmadon simply because his not the great evil and Lloyd's a kid

• Also the whole aging him up thing? Never happens

Mateo was a little surprised that Izzie could dream walk like him buuuut he should've seen that coming what was more surprising was that Zoey the new girl Nova Izzie's BFF and Logan could as well

Apparently Mr Oz could as well but he wasn't with them because he ran some fancy place for dream agents or whatever Mateo was a little bummed that Cooper couldn't be here

But Cooper was still a big help and proved it time and time again Mateo is just glad he didn't have to hide this from him anymore

Izzie had been bummed out that she couldn't get an hour glass like Nova and Logan had but she could beast craft which more than made up for it

They all somehow got a teacher? At least for the dream world Royce was nice enough if not a little strict at times but it was fine he wasn't that bad

What really bugs Mateo is having to watch Izzie and Nova pine after each other all the time in the dream world like hello Izzie's older brother is right here knock it off!

Well at least Logan agreed with him and wow can't believe he ever got Logan to agree with him on something Zoey said it was normal and to let it go

But Mateo doesn't want to see his sister fail at flirting with Nova it was horrible watching it play out

Shade frowned as he woke up alone in bed he got up wrapping a blanket around himself as he went off to find Kai

Shade found him sitting off in his own world by the living room window gripping his staff Shade walked over to him

"Kai" Shade waited for a moment before reaching out and touching his arm

Kai's head whipped around staring at Shade with anger before it disappeared only leaving behind a small amount

"You're up early" Kai rolled the staff in his hands a sign of his worries

"I got cold is all" Shade leaned down kissing Kai "come back to bed?"

Kai nodded getting up letting Shade guide him back to their shared bed the staff resting against the bed as they cuddled
