And Geralt would just be confused as hell like: who is this murder child?

But also, Arya is a princess (her sister is the Queen in the North) and Geralt does tend to be very protective of small, angry, murderous, scary powerful princess, so he would just go all batman style like "you're my child now, here is a sword, imma teach you how to fight like me" and Arya would just be like "fuck yeah you will"

There is an intended contrast between this comic's Mykola and canon Mykola: Both long for freedom, yet one seeks clarity over his own thoughts and feelings to free his true self from external brainwashing (comic) - while the other (canon) does have clarity over his emotions- but views those as the brainwashing itself, an "internal" brainwashing, he wants to *lose* sight of himself and be free of the sane state of mind. Seeking the truth vs seeking a chosen illusion, that's their difference.
