I can feel the steering bar of this sled in my hands as I recall racing down the snow-covered hill of the golf course many years ago as a little girl. Do your kids sled?

"You are worried about seeing him spend his early years in doing nothing. What! Is it nothing to be happy? Nothing to skip, play, and run around all day long? Never in his life will he be so busy again." ~Jean-Jacques Rousseau, Emile, 1762
Yes, indeed!
Indeed.
Oh, my goodness! How beautiful and enchanting.
Oh, the beauty of a winter snowfall! So magical.
That exudes awesome energy!
"The season of Advent is like springtime in nature, when everything is renewed, and so is fresh and healthy. Advent is also meant to do this to us - to refresh us and make us healthy, to be able to receive Christ in whatever form he may come to us." Blessed Teresa of Calcutta

Will I see you at the #RedDotAuction on May 9?
A horse of a different color.
Mea culpa for the sporadic postings, but directedbychuckjones has been up to their collective eyeballs in preparations for next week’s Red Dot Auction benefiting the Chuck Jones Center for Creativity. Please bear with us (the editorial ‘we’ indicates, at times, that there is more than one of us, nothing could be further from the truth. and now you can debate “further” or “farther”). If you’d like to pre-bid on the art go to Heritage Auctions for details and to view.
Wynonna Judd describes herself as an Alpha Female. I believe it! I could sense her strength while having my picture taken with her prior to her recent Hobbs, New Mexico concert. Wy, her nickname, has freely shared about the struggles in her life which you can read about in her book released in 2005, "Coming Home to Myself - A Memoir". I had the fabulous opportunity to win a "Tweet Seat" at her concert last week in Hobbs. How did this happen? Well, it's social proof that when you engage in conversations through online communities, the possibilities for business and personal experiences are endless. I follow Wy on Twitter. When I saw that someone was tweeting at her New Year's Eve concert, I excitedly started to follow the hashtag (if you don't know what a hashtag is, click on my ask link) and was able to follow Wy's selection of songs, what she wore, her funny comments back and forth with the audience (that woman is really funny!) and more. It was almost like being there in person. I was able to ask questions of the tweeters and they interacted and engaged. A few days later, Wy tweeted that anyone could win "Tweet Seats" at any of her upcoming concerts by going to her website, http://www.wynonna.com/welcome.html I immediately acted on this invitation, submitted my information that was required and was fortunate to have been chosen to win a "Tweet Seat". Do you see what can happen on Twitter? The value of engaging and interacting online is priceless! If you have an experience that you would like to share with me, please submit your post.
