WARNING ABOUT A REALLY NASTY NEW VIRUS.

Meet CryptoLocker. It’s your worst nightmare. A lot of antivirus software, including the big names, cannot yet detect or stop it. If your computer gets it, CryptoLocker takes all your files hostage by encrypting them and giving you a certain amount of time to send a certain amount of money to the man behind the virus.

The encryption is very tidy, and so far seems uncrackable (well, crackable, but it might take a couple centuries). If you tamper with the virus itself, it will pretty much self-destruct and take everything with it. And the way the money is transferred, the dick programmer behind it all for the moment is pretty much uncatchable.

YOU CANNOT GET RID OF THIS VIRUS WITHOUT COMPLETELY WIPING YOUR COMPUTER. YOUR ONLY CHANCE IS PREVENTION AND PREPARATION.

Back up your computer to something like an external hard-drive, or even an internal hard-drive that you just take out and stuff away somewhere for safe keeping. Make sure your antivirus is up to date, avoid skeevy sites, and don’t open random emails. DO NOT download email attachments unless you know exactly what it is, because that seems to be how this is primarily being transmitted.

Luna’s preorder is live! The preorder will run from October 1st to the 31st, 2016. Luna is my first sculpt and will be cast by Harucasting. They will be available in 5 skin tones; Black, Dark Tan, Pastel Pink, Pearl Dark Grey, and Pearl Violet. They are $180 USD each for the dark and pearl colours, and $165 for pastel pink, plus express shipping to your location from Canada. You can pay in one instalment, or pay $100 at the time of ordering, then the rest plus shipping when the dolls arrive to me from the casting studio. Each doll will come blank with a padded box, COA and a pair of 10mm randomly coloured acrylic glitter eyes from Chocolate Tsang. I will also be donating $10 USD to Bat Conservation International for each Luna sold! Luna is 13cm tall and single jointed with 12 points of articulation. They can sit, stand, and hang upside down by their curved feet. Luna can wear 10 or 12mm eyes depending on taste and brand. Just trying to even things out. Make sure the eyes are at the same depth, checking nostrils and the way the philtrum and septum meet up. Her skull/forehead will obviously be larger, I'm just focusing on her face at the moment.

Abdab Season 2016… it’s coming!

I’ve been getting questions coming through about what Abdabs are and where to get them, whether they can be preordered and so on, so I put together this info sheet to help clear things up.

It’s light on the lore, if you’re interested in a fun story and the character of each abdab then head over to the Abdabs section of my website for more info!

It starts on the 1st September but Abdabs will be available in unlimited quanities until the 30th November so there’s no panic to get your order in on the first. However, if you wanted to give an abdab as a Christmas gift I would recommend getting your order in as soon as possible, as shipping around the festive season gets weird and irritating!

Some things I haven’t mentioned on the info:

There will be a special “grab bag” style blind box release of CRYSTAL caberfeidh – they are caberfeidh with transparent heads! I have cast 35 in loads of different colours with glitters, iridescence and some glow in the dark. They will be packaged in an opaque box so I don’t know which you will get, it’s a surprise! They will be £35 each.

There will also be a grab bag blind box release for crystal corvies too, I’m still casting them. I have over 50 and they will be £20 each!

 I will be releasing 100 enamel abdab pins this year! Yup, jumping on the pin game. But I love them and they’re little affordable fun things. They will be £7 each - $9

Made her armature last night! Still have lots of work left on the head, I just was itching to mess around with this part. It's made of tin foil and bits of Styrofoam wrapped in floral tape. If she looks short it's because this doesn't account for her feet, which I will sculpt separate, same for hands. She looks so silly this way 😂
