Thought I'd finally share the Hunter helmet I made with the internet. :)

The helmet was 3D printed, and I hand painted it with acrylics. This was part of my Season 2 Hunter cosplay I put together.

I'm really proud of how this helmet turned out. :)

Sooooo I'm back at it again with the BAD BAND because I refuse to be stopped hahaha (losing it)

I totally thought this would be awful bc I usually HATE this downward-looking-up angle, but it's actually kinda..... Hear me out- ☠️

Slightly feral over this, thank goodness I had his bangs to cover his face a little bc I don't think it would've turned out otherwise

(Omega painted his nails black for the show btw, that's canon here)(and the sole reason he's in a tank is bc I wanted to try the tats)(went pretty well but I had to google how tf the arm bones look)(the radius and the ulna are WEIRD bones)

Sergeant Hunter 🪶✨ He has many titles, but here I absolutly indulged the Mr. Mysterious Hair in the Wind version 😎 He's melancholic and needs a hug and a caf – not mandatory in this chronological order ☕️

Hunter is the one of The Bad Batch who seems to have a changing eye color with every new light or shadow situation! 👀 I noticed very late, I admit, because I was mostly distracted by staring long hair or something else, 🫠 but I tried to catch his undecided eye color – not brown, not grey, not green, not golden... but very much wood wilderness in there 🪶

Have a closer look, because I never made detailed eyes like this before:

I couldn't think of anything I'd rather do for my birthday than paint Hunter, so here he is! Can we call him the man in black? Or blacks? 😁 I just made a simple one but wanted to capture his thoughtful look. It's an 8x10 acrylic on canvas board, and yes I do make prints.

Bad Batch Edition: Hunter

Green - Sensory Disability

This may come as a surprise to you because Hunter doesn’t have an impairment of his senses - on the contrary they are enhanced.

I hc that this is a blessing and a curse. Take the sense of smell for example. You can close your eyes and cover your ears but you HAVE to breath so you can’t avoid getting all those scents in your nose (or mouth), especially when your senses are enhanced. We know that Hunter can sense electromagnetic fields - this is also something he probably can’t shut off. And I‘m sure the show only scraped at the very surface of Hunter’s abilities. It must be very exhausting to deal with the magnitude of different sensory inputs all the time and we don’t know if his brain can keep up with his sensory abilities, filter them properly and make sense of all the inputs he’s getting. That’s why I listed him among the sensory disability. To me Hunter is a #1 candidate for migraines.

Last (😭!!) Bad Batch eve today. I think the finale is set up to be heart-breaking / bittersweet so let’s have a moment of joy, k? Here’s my attempt on a family pic of them just happily chilling in their S1 outfits as a family of 6!

I haven’t been THIS emotionally invested in a show for years - there are many reasons why I love The Bad Batch and the found family aspect is a big one, so I wanted to just present them this way before we (probably) cry tomorrow.

My take on Hunter

I can’t believe this is the final bad batch eve. I don’t know what’ll happen in the finale, but I know that the story that Jennifer and Brad and everyone on TBB team created will live on in my heart forever. And for that I will always be grateful
