just realised yet another one parallel in arcane

what caught my attention is this moment where jinx plays a little makeover with isha and dyes her hair

jinx wishes she had moments like this with her sister and in the next episode we see her painting her face to look almost the same as vi’s tattoo (ofc the writing itself is more in jinx’s style but still)

she’s just a girl who wanted to be like her older sis when she was little – the same way isha now wants to be like jinx

SPOILER WARNING (please don’t ruin this wonderful and at the same time ruining experience for yourself, watch the show first and then read tumblr posts about it, I beg you)

I would make a post explaining how I feel about arcane season 2 in all its gory glory, but sadly, words cannot explain the gut wrenching emotions this show has caused. My heart has been torn and unwound with every minute of color that flashed on my phone screen as I watched it, and I’m now left with a pile of blood and ribbons from what once was my heart. Also in the scene where Jinx realizes Isha was taken, Isha appears as one of her hallucinations. The one directly infront of her to be exact, the easiest to spot and the least monstrous one. Hallucination-Isha wasn’t sharp with jagged scratchy lines, she was soft, possibly symbolism of how she kept Jinx calm (not crazy) because being infront meant she was Jinx’s main focus. Just thought that was interesting. I don’t acknowledge episode 6 and no one can make me.

It really surprised me that Jinx didn't start fighting Vi even harder after she accidentally hit Isha. I know that it made her angry that Isha got hurt, but she ignored her own emotions to make sure that Isha was okay <3

Jinx being a good older sister was NEVER in my bingo card but you can pry it off my cold dead hands. This is the best thing I could have ever hoped for for her. She's THRIVING with someone to care for.
