Pictures of the day 2 - December 4, 2018
Insight B-VI is the outer-most planet orbiting Insight B. The planet is a Jupiter-Sized gas giant with a mass of 1.42 Jupiter Masses, and a radius of 74,962 kilometers. A thick carbon-rich ring system surround the planet.
Insight B-VI orbits its sun at an average distance of 1.74 AU, completing an orbit once every 2.79 Earth Years. A day on the planet lasts only 8 hours and 7 minutes. It is a frigid giant, the atmosphere of which averages -258 F. Monstrous storms rage in the planet’s atmosphere, powered by internally released heat.
The planet is the only world in the system to by surrounded by a major lunar system. Three massive moons larger than Mars orbit the planet, along with 3 smaller rounded satellites, and 74 asteroid-like moons.

A system of 6 planet’s orbiting a rare dim carbon star that has swelled into a red giant. All of the planet’s have been roasted by the star. The star has a very low surface temperature; therefore, all of the planets have a red-tint due to the lack of blue colored light.
The outer-most planets form a double planet system which consist of a Mars-like world orbited by an ocean world. The ocean world once being a frozen ice-covered world melted the by expanded sun.

Two planets in the O’Sirus System have rings, the 7th and 10th planets respectively.
The 7th planet is an ice-world with a thick icy crust floating on a sub-surface ocean. It is roughly 0.30 Earth-masses, has a radius 75% that of Earth and orbits 1.32 AU from the sun. The surface has a carbon dioxide atmosphere of approximately the same pressure as the atmosphere of Mars and surface temperatures of 133 K or -224 °F.
The 10th world is small ice giant 10.5 times more massive than Earth, has a radius 2.8 times larger than Earth and orbits at a distance of 6.02 AU. This world also has a pronounced ring system.

The sun begins to set behind a large moon of a gas giant that has a thick atmosphere. Another large satellite is visible in the background.

Twin suns begin rising over an airless Mercury-Like planet.
Top image shows the Andromeda Galaxy rising above the inner-most dwarf planet. From here, the great spiral galaxy covers over 11 degrees of the sky or almost 22 times larger than a full moon on Earth.
Other three images show the inner-most planet, a large ice giant 50 times the mass of Earth orbiting 0.30 AU from the sun.
In the last shot, each of the small stars in the background are actually large bright asteroids in the systems asteroid belt.

The silhouette of a gas giant and it rings.
The inner-most planet is a Chthonian Planet, or the core remnant of a large Ice of Gas Giant that lost its atmosphere to the solar winds. The planet is a Super-Earth mass world of 8.4 Earth Masses and a radius of 1.56 Earth’s or 9,954 kilometers in radius. The planet is extremely dense, being made almost entirely out of compressed metals with a thin silicate crust. It has an average density of 12.1 g/cm³. The surface experiences a gravitational force of 3.44 g.
This world has a water-vapor atmosphere that generates a powerful greenhouse effect on the surface. Surface temperatures reach 1,623 °F, and sodium and potassium clouds circle the planet. Pressure on the surface is so extreme, the atmosphere exists as a super-critical fluid, with an atmospheric pressure 6,511 times that of Earth. The atmosphere reflects enough sunlight that the day-side has a bright-white color that drowns out the glowing clouds.
