talk about comfort characters. she is one of my all-time favorite fictional characters, she makes me so nostalgic and happy & she and simon are a permanent god tier ship for me ❤️

i could write an actual essay about how this dress symbolizes her reclaimed girlhood and how the first 2 pics are more like the izzy she presents and the third is her vulnerable inner self we see mostly through simon’s eyes throughout the series–

ps i have never seen the show, this is how i always pictured izzy reading the books! & i use stand-in normal tattoos bc i’m not fond of the available rune cc
