“Well looks like we’re done moving in boxes.” Gracie smiled “I know, it’s crazy.” She looked over at her sister and ran her fingers through her hair. “I can’t believe my baby sister is all grown up. And moving into Nana’s old house. It feels so surreal,” she looked around at the old place. “But remember I am always here for you. That’s the nice part of Sam and I only being thirty minutes away. And you know your my permanent babysitter now right?” “I wouldn’t have it any other way Hope,” Gracie smiled. “And thank you.” “Let’s take a picture for Mom okay? Mmmmm lets be cute.” She handed her phone to her husband Sam who began clicking away. “Now lets be dramatic models” The sisters stilled for a minute until they began laughing as Gracie’s cat Willow began meowing loudly at their feet. “We’ve got to get back my Love,” Sam said as he hugged Gracie. “I know I know.” Hope teased as she looked lovingly at Gracie. “Promise you’ll visit?” “I promise,” Gracie said, pinky out as she pulled Hope in for one more hug. “Love you sissy!” Hope yelled as they pulled out of the driveway. “Love you too!”

Are you named after anyone? Yes, my name is a twist on a famous actor and my middle name is after my grandfather. 

When was the last time you cried? Probably recently, I’m a pretty emotional person and think sometimes a good cry is helpful. But I’ve been feeling better lately and I’m grateful for that!

Do you have kids? Yes, one amazing little boy! And I hope to have more 

Do you use sarcasm a lot? No, years ago I was told my sarcasm burned and after that I stopped all together. I don’t want to be the kind of person who makes others feel bad or insecure. I prefer that people always come away feeling better after talking with me.

What sports do you play/have you played? Ballet and soccer, but when soccer got to competitive I quit and became a music girl. I definitely prefer that!

What’s the first thing you notice about other people? Their energy. I get a pretty good sense of if someone is happy, calm, irritated, strong willed, etc. I pretty much always try to have happy energy and brighten others days. 

Scary movies or happy endings? Always happy endings! I am an absolute chicken and never watch scare movies. Ever. 

Any special talents? Not really? I’m a pretty good organizer lol. Does that count? 

Where were you born? California, USA

What are your hobbies? Simming, Stardew Valley, Reading, Embroidery, being outside, learning more about cc making. 

Do you have any pets? Not currently but we want to get a golden retriever soon. 

How tall are you?  5'2

Fave subject in school?  History and English! Loooove history though. 

Dream job? Ummmm, homesteading and having my own hobby farm. Sign me up for having some Jersey cows, chickens, and baking sour dough bread.

Hi friends, I am so excited to be sharing some last photos before leaving home to set off on my new adventures. Finally done with uni and off to be a teacher in Appaloosa Plains. I can’t wait to share more with you all.  <3 Gracie

~ S U M M E R ~ “Hey!” A stranger in a polka dotted bikini waved at Gracie and Matt as they emerged from the water glistening wet.

“Hi!” Matt responded waving in a friendly manner while Gracie tried to follow suit by sending the girl a reserved wave. From the safety of Matt’s shadow of course

“We just lost a few players for our volleyball game. Want to play?” Her eyes were open and kind.

“Sure!” Matt responded without so much as a glance towards Gracie. He started walking towards them. Gracie followed and began to towel herself dry, watching Matt and marveling at how being friendly came so easy to him (and at his muscles).

Matt gave her a friendly nudge, “Earth to Grace. You ready?”

“Uhm it’s just that I’ve never done this before. You know, volleyball.”

He didn’t bat an eye, “Then it will all the more fun to teach you. Come on”

Gracie opened her mouth to argue but Matt was already walking away so instead she obediently followed. Much to her surprise she found herself enjoying the company, especially the outgoing Natalia. By the end of the day Gracie had exchanged numbers with some of the girls and promised to come play again.

A fun collab for @simblrsimplyforfun with @simming-love and her beautiful sim Natalia. My computer kept crashing so I didn’t get to take as many photos but at least I could finish  This was to complete challenge 9! Frankie could I have the Fleur skin?

Hylewood Round 1 - Atwood

Part Five

We left off with Sarah at the beginning of her pregnancy, the girls enjoying their summer break and William working on his career. To further his career William invited over local Law Enforcement Officer Ben Johnson and his wife Kate (ironically not pictured here but she is the local photographer you'll see later) for dinner.

The girls really just worked on their skills. Charlotte and Sarah did some painting and Jessica worked on her piano (The Atwoods are the wealthiest family on the Island and I figure they would want their girls to be a bit of over achiever proper ladies)

Soon enough it was time. William and Jessica had a good freak out.

Then the Doctor was called, and also the repair man to fix the dishwasher, while we have a baby in the kitchen because sims.

Welcome to the family Alexander Atwood! (Not sure if I'll stick with the A-Z naming for rotations but Alexander just seemed to fit).

I think William was after all quite glad to have a son and despite his early reservations was super attentive to the new baby.

Time to end their round by posing for a nice picture with Kate Johnson.

~ F A L L ~  Last Pumpkin Spice Latte of the Season. Not ready for winter yet! Trying to finish a remodel on my second bedroom, soon to be office before the snow hits. I’ve decided I’m not much of a painter, but I’m trying my hand at novels. Let’s see how this goes… Also gotta love Willow my photobombing cat! I can’t ever take a photo without her coming up to see what’s going on! Haha, gotta love this sweet fluffy feline. 

Hiatus

Hey guys!

Sorry I dropped off the radar for the past month, I’ve had some crazy real life stuff going on, like my husband being diagnosed with MS. We are still reeling and just trying to adjust our life and help him to heal and recover.

Because of all that I’m taking a little break here. All conversions and stuff are on pause for a bit. I still have some things in my queue so I might post those if I have time, and pop in here and there when I can.

But truth be told I’m an Enneagram nine who likes to shut down and retreat to my ‘inner world’ aka sims when things get too hard but I am really trying to just show up and be present for my real life, even though it’s overwhelming and hard (and let’s be honest I broke down in tears because never did I ever think I’d be worrying about losing my partner and learning how to cope watching him suffer when I am only 26. That was not on my radar)

So anyway, I hope to return eventually because I have some more Saint Greer builds I was really excited to share and more going on in Hylewood. Not to mention a folder full of half finished conversions. But I need to (force myself to) take a step back and just embrace the season we’re in. Any prayers and love is appreciated.

Hey Guys!  Wanted to start sharing my recent save. I’m playing rotationally in the beautiful Hylewood by @nilxis! This is my first rotation since finishing doing some of my own builds and I’m excited to share a mix of gameplay, story, and occasionally posed photos. 

Atwood Family Bio:

Hello from Hylewood’s oldest family line, William Atwood’s great grandfather helped discover and found this Island and they have been helping the Island grow ever since. William is in the political career trying to make his way up to mayor. His wife Sarah is the local teacher and they have two beautiful daughters Charlotte (left) and Jessica (right). 

One of the wealthiest families on the Island, William is a perfectionist who deeply cares about appearances. He makes sure his daughters are well behaved straight A+ students, while his wife helps brings out the family’s gentler nurturing side. William is perfectly happy with how life is going, but his wife Sarah thinks that maybe they have room in the family for one more.
