Using Zerbu’s Ultimate Career mod (updated by the lovely Sonya YA on MTS) for the very first time and trying out the politics career. Well, the first town meeting did not go well. Nearly the entire town showed up and turns out only one chair was actually able to be ‘sat in’ thanks to move objects (and that one chair has the town doctor who got this horrible randomly generated career outfit that will be fixed soon). Poor William. 

But some drama did start to go down outside, two of the towns teenage boys started to get in a fight outside, seems like Aaron is bullying poor Nathan. Nathan’s family rotation is up next so we’ll have to see what’s going on there. 

Even though there was a lot of upset sims, William is making progress in his career and is now up to level 3. Well done buddy.

As a surprise for Nellie, Frank invited her closest friends over for the weekend to throw her a bridal shower. He knew she was finding the idea of getting married without her family or friends difficult to bear. Nevertheless, it was a sacrifice they had to make to keep the farm a float and to savor a small honeymoon to France.

One phone call to Anna Leigh who was dubbed the ‘mother’ of the group - due to her wisdom, ability to organise and multitask like no one else - and the girls left their busy lives and came together at the old farmhouse in the midst of ancient trees and sprawling wildflowers. Vesper left her insta-worthy adventures, Roxie left her beautiful young family and sweet Gracie left behind her new teaching career; all to be with their friend who needed them.

It was Vesper’s idea to host the morning tea outdoors where Frank proposed to Nellie. Anna Leigh - culinary goddess - baked magic and brewed the most delightful tea. Gracie sneakily ran around picking the flowers that adorned the table. Roxie distracted Nellie with tales of her children and then blindfolded her and led her to the morning tea.

The day flew by in a heartbeat and before they knew it, their time together was drawing to an end. Frank, who had become quite the camera man that day, took one last photo. That photo became a keepsake of their weekend together and the memories they shared.

This is an awesome mod that I have play tested and it make so many new types of businesses possible! Gone are the Sims 3 days of savy seller rugs everywhere, instead we’ve been gifted a marvelous Sims 2 ofb inspired mod that makes business dreams come true! I’m seriously so excited to see what the community can do with this. I have so many ideas for new shops, and I’m sure so do many others. If you’ve ever wanted to run a ts3 business this is the mod for you! 

Yay, it’s finally here! Sim State Dude’s Open For Business for Sims 3 has arrived! Welcome to Sim State! A new mini expansion focused on adding ownable stores to the game in an open ended format. Create a store, hire employees, set objects for sale (without rugs!), restock objects, earn XP on sales to increase your rank and more! Check it out below! DISCLAIMER: The mod has been thoroughly tested by myself and other simmers but due to the nature of public release I cannot guarantee you won’t run into a new one! As a rule make backups to keep your saves safe, but you can shutdown a business by purchasing a computer and using the ‘Manage Business’ option on the lot, this should fix any Sim State specific issues for a buggy lot.
