(Dragon! Min Yoongi x Human Reader)  (ft. Baby Jungkook + Baby Dragon! Hoseok) 

Summary: When Dragon Yoongi finds baby Jungkook in the wreckage of a house he burned down, he can’t bring himself to kill the child. Months after someone drops a baby at your door, you start to notice something- or someone, lurking at the edge of your farm. Why does the man you catch glimpses of have horns?

Tags: sort of medieval times, mentions of death/murder (both humans and dragons, other mentions of magical creatures, baby Jungkook domesticity, fluff, brief sickfic.

A/n:  so here you go, baby dragon hoseok is not in this part- but he is in the next one. I love dragons! and I love yoongi! so yeah! partially inspired by comic i saw with dragon yoongi and knight hoseok so if anyone finds it please let me know! 

- Though Yoongi is a Solitary dragon, he still has a fair amount of interaction with the dragon community, so when small settlements go missing, or there is an isolated attack on a nests and others of his kind are in need someone with finesse for fire breathing- Yoongi comes and helps. 

- The Human vs. Dragon war is as old as time. And Yoongi is no stranger to the violence- his own family was killed hundreds of years ago by a human raid- though the war has changed since then, dragons have been pushed to the edges of the world or been made to hide in some places. There are even standing truces between some kingdoms and any dragons that might be passing through. 

- He has enough interaction and care for his own kind that he cares when he finds a nest ransacked. Cursing humanity and acting instinctually, he begins to hunt the humans that have done this.

- Yoongi had tracked the scent of death to a small mountainside community- he’d flown over the old cabins and seen the fresh fletchling dragon skins hanging out to cure and started killing indiscriminately. The light of dawn was cresting over the mountains when Yoongi starts to spit his hot blue fire into the buildings.

- Yoongi walks through the wreckage of the houses he’s just burned. The rage inside of him winking out as the last life did. His long cloak rustling in the ashes as he shifts to his human form once his temper cools checking for signs of life and finding none. 

- And then a high-pitched keen, crying, underneath the wreckage of a house as the rain starts up. The baby is small but healthy as Yoongi pulls him out from underneath the wreckage, with little more than a scratch on his cheek that looks a little deep and little tears beading at the edge of large brown eyes. Yoongi doesn’t know much about human children, but if he had to guess, he’s probably older than 6 months but younger than a year. Still immobile and unable to care for himself.  

- There is a name embroidered on the edge of the torn red blanket that swaths the baby, half soaked with mud. ‘Jungkook’ it reads, fine bronze thread against the dull red. A first name or a last name- Yoongi doesn’t know. 

- The weight of the babe calms in his arms, it starts to rain, and Yoongi finds himself curled over the tope of him and shielding his face from it. He can’t find it in himself to kill the child and save him the misery of starving to death. Despite the fact that this small family of warriors had killed countless of Yoongi’s kind and all for the more malleable young dragon skins- different than the rough hide of older dragons that could not be made into fireproof clothing- this child has done nothing, taken part in no such acts of violence. 

- But the baby- Jungkook - is an unintended consequence of Yoongi’s rage, and likely- his relatives, and simultaneously Yoongi does not want him to secum to startvation like he would if yoongi left him to die and yet cannot take care of him. Yoongi is a dragon- and cannot take care of a human child.

- It almost feels like something deep within him whispers to his fire filled heart, maybe not words, but definitely, something that tells him not to leave the child to die.

I'm a baker and I've always loved the idea of people enjoying my cakes. I love baking for people.

Then I had this dream. I was friends with the guys and often made cakes and treats for them. In the dream (and real life to be honest) I'm head over heels with Frankie and would blush everytime he liked my cakes. He even got a little more tummy by eating cakes all the time 😆💜

What I didn't know was that he was crazy about me to. But then I woke up, before any of us could do anything about it.

“There she is! Our favorite little baker!” Benny shouted as he walked into the shop with the rest of the guys in tow. The rest of the patrons turned and looked at him as you shook your head.

“I know you only say that for free treats, Benny,” you teased.

“Hey, we all have a sweet tooth and we don’t trust anyone else to make us stuff,” he admitted. You walked from behind the counter and gave him a quick hug before hugging the other guys.

“How you guys been?” you asked, zoning in on Frankie who always seemed to linger in the back of the group. You had to confess that you always found him the most attractive out of them all and, more often than not, you found yourself thinking about him. “Frankie...”

“I’m-I’m good, thanks.” He looked at you then looked away quickly, smiling down at the floor as he rubbed the back of his neck.

“I want you guys to try something new for me. Go find a table and I’ll bring it out,” you told them and they all scrambled excitedly to the table with the most seats right by the window. 

You walked to the back and carefully plated the chocolate treats you had made last night. You tasted one yourself and thought it was great, but it was always nice to have a second, third, fourth, and fifth opinion. When you walked back out, Benny pumped his fists in the air and you laughed. Frankie stared out the window but looked as soon as you place the plates on the table. His eyes widened ever so slightly.

“I know how much you like chocolate, Frankie,” you said and he froze as he reached for a plate and looked up at you.

“Y-You do?” he asked, a small smile playing at his lips.

“I do.” You winked before walking away and you could hear the guys all teasing him now.

You busied yourself with other customers for a while, your eyes drifting back to Frankie every now and then. They were all talking animatedly about something but you couldn’t really pay attention since you were minding other customers.

“Frankie, dude, please go over there and tell her how much you liked her new...treat,” Santiago said. He nudged his best friend but Frankie only shook his head and shushed him.

“She’ll hear you. She’s...looking over here!” he whispered angrily before covering his face with a menu.

“And that’s not obvious at all,” Will teased.

“What did you guys think?” you asked excitedly and Frankie quickly lowered the menu and pretended to read it. He had a bit of chocolate in the corner of his lips. Those lovely, plush, pouty lips.

“They were fucking amazing,” Benny said. “What do you call ‘em?”

“I...don’t know yet.” You shrugged. “And the resident chocolate lover, what did you think?” you asked, looking directly at Frankie who was trying to hide his face with the bill of his cap.

“Frankie...” Santi whispered, elbowing him.

“Hm? Oh! It was...amazing. Best thing I ever tasted.” He smiled and you smiled back, feeling the heat rise to your cheeks. It was obvious that you had the same effect on him by the slight pink coloring his cheeks.

“You got a little something...” You grabbed a napkin and leaned over the table to wipe at the corner of his mouth. “Got it.”

“Thank you,” he said in a low voice, looking right into your eyes.

“Any time.” You stood up straight again and the guys all grinned at Frankie and held back laughs.

“You got any more?” Santi asked.

“You paying for ‘em?” You held out your hand and he just shook your head, making everyone laugh. “Maybe if you come back later. Now...get out and let me work, please.” 

They all said their goodbyes and, once again, Frankie lingered in the back. “Thanks again,” he said quietly. “You were good...I mean...the cake was good! The cake!” The guys snickered but you only nodded.

“Thanks Frankie. Come back any time.”

“Hey! How come he gets a ‘come back any time’ and we get kicked out?” Benny complained jokingly and Will shoved him out the door.

You laughed quietly as you cleaned the table they sat up, looking out the window just in time to see Frankie looking at you. He seemed embarrassed to get caught but raised his hand in greeting anyway. You waved back and he put his hands in his pocket before jogging to catch up with the guys. You watched as he did and tried to push all the thoughts you had of how good he looked in those jeans far back in your mind.

The bell above the door jingled as you cleaned and put stuff away for the night. “Sorry but I’m just clos-” You turned to find Frankie standing by the door awkwardly.

“Frankie?” You walked around the counter quickly and stood in front of him. “What are you doing here?”

“Um...well...you said I could come back any time, but if you’re closing I could come back tomorrow,” he said nervously, his words getting a little jumbled.

“No, no...please stay. Mind helping me a little?” you asked and he smiled.

“Love to.”

You threw him an apron so his clothes wouldn’t get dirty as he cleaned. It took you a lot longer to clean up tonight because you were so distracted by him. The way he easily reached for the highest shelves, the stretch of his shirt as he did. The determination etched on his face as he scrubbed at a particularly stubborn drop of icing was probably your favorite thing.

“It doesn’t have to be perfect, Frankie,” you told him and he looked up at you. He lifted his hat to wipe his forehead then replaced it.

“You do this alone every night?” he asked, looking around the kitchen.

“It’s not too bad,” you said.

“I mean...if you want, I can come by around closing time and help you out. I don’t mind.”

“You would do that for me, Frankie?” you asked.

“I’d do anything for you,” he blurted. “I mean, I’d...yeah...of course.”

You giggled and took your apron off. “Hey, I have something for you.”

“For me?” He smirked as you walked over to the big refrigerator. When you turned, he smiled even brighter.

“I had a few of these left over and...I know how much you like chocolate. Here.” You held the tray out to him and he took one of the little cakes. His phone dinged and he pulled it out.

Hey, whats goin on? the text from Benny read. Are u with her? Please dont have sex in the kitchen or thats all ill think about when we eat there. Frankie rolled his eyes and put his phone away.

“Benny?” you asked.

“How’d you know?” He took a bite of the cake and closed his eyes. “Best thing ever.”

“You really mean that?” you asked.

“Yup. Here.” He held the part he hadn’t bitten out to you and you took a bite. “Is that not the best thing you’ve ever tasted?”

“Wouldn’t it be conceited of me to say that about my own baking?”

“No. There’s nothing wrong with being confident in your work. I think I’m a damn good pilot,” he told you.

“Because you are.”

“And you’re a damn good baker,” he said. “Oh...you got a little...” He looked around and found a paper towel. He wet it in the sink before walking back over to you and wiping your lip. “Got it.”

“Thanks...”

“Can I...uh...kiss you?” he asked.

“You can.”

“Really?!” He was not expecting that answer at all. He looked down at the little piece of cake left in his hand. He shoved it into his mouth and you laughed.

“You’re gonna kiss me with a mouth full of cake?” you joked. He held up his finger as he chewed and chewed then swallowed.

“Okay. May I kiss you...now?”

“The answer is still yes.”

When his lips touched yours, you swore you sighed out loud. His lips were so soft, softer than you could have ever imagined. And his kiss was so gentle, one hand cupping your face while the other gently pressed at your lower back. There was no rush, no greed...just time. He pulled away, leaving you breathless.

“You taste like chocolate,” you murmured, still feeling as if you were floating.

“Do I?” he chuckled.

“Yeah. Sweet.” You looked at his lips.

“All credit to those delicious little cakes you made but you...you’re sweet all on your own,” he said quietly as he moved in close again. “Like I knew you would be.”

Ok, hear me out. Zuko, but with piercings and a Chinese dragon tattoo 👀👀

Zuko boy was heavily requested when I asked about the 6 characters challenge a few months ago. I wasn’t able to do the drawings during the hype, but I still have you guys’ answers and I’ll try to draw some of the characters you suggested!

Also, this was the first digital drawing I was able to finish since February and I’m so happy 😭 Now I just need to be able to write how I used to. I’m slowly becoming myself again!!!
