       + You had a big heart that much was evident to anyone. Sometimes that big heart got you in trouble. Naturally you always wanted to help people, hence joining the Hero Course at UA. One day, you did get in trouble just innocently helping someone being bullied and couldn’t help yourself afterwards. Your quirk couldn’t match theirs in the moment and you ran for help. Finding your help and hiding spot with Kirishima, the loveable rock.

      Sometimes being the nice person can really bite you in the ass. Be nice to the wrong person and you could have a couple things be the result. One, nothing could happen. Two, you could be seen as a bad person. And three, it could turn whatever was happening on you. That third bit happened a lot to me.

       “L/N! Uraraka and I are going to get something to eat. Do you want anything?” Su asked me. I looked up from my book and shook my head.

       “Thanks but I am okay. Have fun!” I waved as they jogged off. I looked up at the clear sky and closed my eyes. I sighed in content. It was nice day of refreshment at the park after the long, tiring days we have had lately. A lot of training and gloomy, dark days on top of it are not fun mixes.

       “Can you believe it?” I heard Midoriya yell in excitement. I cracked my eyes open and looked to my left to see him and Todoroki lounging in the grass a few feet from me. Midoriya was fanboying over something again and Todoroki was just watching him amused, head resting on his hand as he laid on his stomach.

       “Adorable.” I whispered and turned back forward. Kiri and Bakugo were playing a rough game of catch while Sero and Mina were huddled around Kaminari looking at something on his phone. My gaze lingered on Kiri as he smiled wide at his friends. As if feeling my gaze, he turned and caught my gaze. He smiled wide again before winking. I blushed and looked down smiling. He is such a flirt.

      Others that decided to join us were scattered around the park. I was just about to go back to my book when a distressed voice caught my attention. I looked up, searching for the source when I saw a woman and a man walking deeper into the park and the woman looked distressed. I immediately got up and followed, not liking the feeling I got from seeing them.

      “Please, just let me go.”

      “No! I want your money. Now!” The man yelled and I heard the woman whimper. A pang hit my heart and I sped up. I turned around a corner and saw the man pinning the woman and holding her at the mercy of his quirk. A hand to blade quirk it looked like. Something my vegetation quirk would have little effect on.

      “Hey!” I yelled. Both of their heads whipped towards me. “Let her go.” I said firmly. The man just laughed at me.

      “Get lost little girl. This has nothing to do with you. Run along.” He turned his attention back to the woman while she looked at me fearfully.

      “I said…” I started, lifting my hand. He side eyed me. “Let her go.” I repeated but this time punctuated my statement with the flash of vines tangling around the man’s blade arm. I moved my arm yanking him off the woman. “Go!” The woman ran. She went by me, thanking me and I watch as see runs out of sight. I turn back when I heard the sound of him cutting the vines.

      “You little…” The man growled before charging at me. I dodged his attacks and continued to use my quirk to little avail. Knowing he was getting angrier and closer, I did one last hit before retreating. I ran through the trees purposely. I heard him yelling but I lost him, for now. I leant against a tree to catch my breath.

      “L/N?” I heard Kiri call out. “You out here?”

      “Kiri!” I called back. I finally heard the man coming up on me again. I run in the direction I heard the sharp toothed red head. I snuck a peak behind me only to run into something hard.

      “Woah there! What’s the rush…”

      “Shh!” I shushed him before pulling him with me. He questioned me until he heard the yelling behind me. He let me pull him to the tree line opening into the park clearing. I ran to the spot where his stuff was at and grab his blanket. I stopped and pulled him down with me to sit at the base of a tree. I pulled the blanket over our shoulders.

      “What?” He looked at me confused but let me do whatever. In the corner of me eye, I saw the man come into the clearing looking around frantically. He deactivated his quirk but came our way. I yelped a little before grabbing his arm and maneuvering it around my shoulder.

      “Please just… go with it!” I said, eyes still locked on the man. He followed my gaze and spotted him. I set my head on his shoulder and pulled the blanket higher.

      Kiri finally understood my discomfort and took if one step further. He moved and pulled my into his side tighter and propped his knees up in front of us. He reached up and moved my head further into his neck before leaning his head on top of mine. He cuddled into me and I blushed.

      “Little bitch.” The man got closer and I turned my head to nuzzle into Kiri’s neck. He held me tighter. Just as the man got within a few feet of us, Kiri seemed to have another idea. He gently grabbed my chin and moved my head to kiss me softly. I made a surprised sound but fell into it easily. He moved slightly in front of me and held me tight.

      “Kiri.” I whispered as he pulled away so we could breathe. We looked each other in the eyes longingly before moving in for another kiss. This kiss was more than the last. That’s all I could describe it as, more. We only pulled away when someone yelled.

      “That’s him!” We pulled away and saw the woman with two police officers. I smiled as they arrested the man. “Where is she?”

      “Who?” One of the policeman asked.

      “The girl that helped me. There was a young girl with a vegetation quirk that helped me. I wanted to thank her.” Kiri turned to me and raised an eyebrow. I just smiled before looking back at them. The police escorted the man away as the woman stayed, looking around. She seems to give up with a huff before smiling at nothing.

      “You and your big heart.” He said while leaning back against the tree with me still pulled into his side.

      “What can I say? I like helping people.” His head fell back in exasperation.

      “I know and there’s nothing wrong with it. You just have a bad habit of getting into trouble on days where you are supposed to be RELAXING.” He put emphasis on the last word before pecking my nose. I froze before blushing and touching the tip of my nose.

      “Eep.” I accidentally let out the sound of excitement.

      “Oh? What was that little pebble?” Kiri teased. I looked up at him wide-eyed. He gave me a toothy grin before gently kissing me again. The only thing that pulled us apart we the sound of the snap of a phone camera. We looked and saw Kami and Mina sitting by us with Kami’s phone pointed towards us. Bakugo and Sero were standing a few feet behind them.

      “You guys are cute!” Kami yelled.

      “Are you two dating now?” Mina suddenly asked. Kiri stalled for a second before looking at me in question. We looked at each other for a second before I smiled and nodded the slightest bit. He smiled wide and kissed me forehead.

      “Yep.” Kiri answered.

      “About damn time you damn extras. I was getting real tired of your relentless pining for each other.” Bakugo exclaimed before turning to walk away. I blushed and hid my face in Kiri’s neck. They all laughed and I heard another snap of the camera.

      “Get lost you jerks.” Kiri laughed before cuddling into me again.

In the dark and deep dungeon where Jungkook laid, his head perked up at the sound of a lady’s voice and his brows furrowed. A girl? What was a girl doing in a part of the village where the villagers have deemed to be the most dangerous zone? Surely guards must have surrounded the area with tough security, right? So how did you manage to go past it?

“I’m Y/N,” he heard the voice again and a soft scoff left him.

You were probably just there curious to see the dragon those infamous soldiers have managed to catch.

“I am…” you trailed off and he found himself waiting for what you had to say, “I am the keeper of the dragon.”

“Have you heard, have you heard?” Someone in the crowd whispers, “The circus is coming to town.”

The distorted music coming from the giant tent is ringing in your ears. The night has fallen, but the lights the circus provides gives the impression that it’s still daytime.

Floods of people are entering the tent, they seem never-ending, but the tent always has a place for more people. People who exit the tent have souvenirs, colorful hats, and unusually big candies. Some are with family, some are with friends, but they all have a smile on their lips, eyes sparkling with the miracles they just witnessed.

You witnessed it, too.

You’re fresh out of the show that had ended. The torch-lit room still makes you shiver when you think of it, excitement prickling on your skin despite the show already being over.

You saw a man carry an elephant in his arms without breaking a sweat, the hypnotizer who can command people at will, a man creating ice and fire out of thin air, there was even someone who could make explosions with his hands. A pink-skinned girl, invisible girl, a man with 111 piercings, a redhead with skin as hard as a rock- they all had something weird, special about them.

You are standing in front of the entrance, not going in, neither going out. Your eyes wander over the flyer that’s pinned on the board. It’s the flyer you’ve seen the past week everywhere, the streets are littered with it, but you never picked it and read what was on it. You find yourself looking at it, hoping to feel the remnants of the magic of the show on it.

The paper is adorned with reds, purples, and greens, and you bring your hand up to touch the smooth surface of it as you read the golden, big lettered headline.

“The greatest circus in the world!” It says, listing the shows right under it, you find something similar to envy bubbling inside you as you read about the shows, the quirky people who would be an outcast if they were anywhere but here. You envy them, the life they have, how free they are, going around the world and just being themselves, being as weird as they want, it still gains them money.

A circus is just what you need; you find yourself thinking. Leave your life behind and join them.

“Do you want to see a man lift a whole house with his pinky? Someone who can create explosions out of thin air? There’s more, more to the freaks. Come then, come closer.” You read, unconsciously stepping forward and nearing the paper.

You bite down on your lip, an audible gasp makes your eyes widen when you read the small box that’s in the corner of the flyer.

“Want to be a part of the show?” It says, so small you would’ve missed it any other day. “Show us what you have, and you might become one of us.”

“You have to prove yourself first, though.”
