Do you ever just consume something that makes you go "oh god I need this vibe all over my story" "I need to inject this aesthetic into my book" "I need this thing to stick itself right in the plot holes and defile my writing"

do you ever re-read your own wips like 'damn the bitch that wrote this oughta finish it'

finished a book in the morning and that was a mistake like what am I supposed to do with the rest of the day? Starting a new book would feel like a blasphemy towards this one but also so would just moving on & doing other things

HOW DO PEOPLE WRITE CONSISTENTLY. HOW. I SPENT 3 HOURS STARING AT A SINGLE SENTENCE YESTERDAY. meanwhile someone out there has written a trilogy this year and i am one (1) typo away from fighting god. send help.
