Goosewyrm progress is going smoothly. He must have wings
So I've finished it! It's been done for a while now, but... I need some constructive criticism. It also doesn't stand up very well, which I'm wondering would be a bad selling point if I made the pattern.
I think he's cute though, and I don't have the heart to undo all that work lol.
the baby. I must crochet it. but how
I am now an isopod owner!🪲!
Soooooo white temperate springtails just SHOWED UP in Fetta's tank. After a quick freak out session I deduced (with lots of help from an elder pod keeper) that God Himself gave me free bugs to finally kick off my isopod squad.
Snake tax (he is watching me set up the isopods)
when life gives you bugs get more bugs
Lots of thoughts recently. Everything feels plastic.
I could go on and on about why all that AI "art" is bad. I could mention theft, lack of creativity, it's impact on the work field and environment, but countless people have already said all that. I wanted to touch on something that to me is the most utterly wrong about all of it.
Art is more than just something pretty to look at or listen to. It's therapeutic. It's a form of communication. A tool for human connection. It's a pure, human need.

I just like how it looks like the pillars of creation 💟
now vs. 10 months ago, same pattern and same balls of yarn.
I don’t want an AI assistant in my browser I don’t want an AI chat bot built into every website I don’t want AI images appearing in searches I don’t want AI to help me write I don’t want AI integrated into every facet of my life in a completely useless and unnecessary way just because it’s trendy and it sounded futuristic to investors. AI has genuinely helpful applications and has the potential to make people’s lives easier and instead it’s being forced upon us in totally absurd ways that no one wants or needs just because tech companies want to increase their stock value and I’m going to fucking scream
