Age Dreaming - Not technically a regression, age dreaming is when someone pretends to be younger than they are, without actually mentally regressing. This can mean watching cartoons, playing with toys, and even dressing up in onesies and using pacis. Pet Dreaming - Also not technically a regression, pet dreaming is when someone pretends to be an animal, without actually switching to the headspace of one. This can mean walking on all fours, eating similar foods to the animal they're pretending to be, and making animal noises. Someone may pet dream for a number of reasons, such as coping with trauma or stress, or just for fun.

Partial/Half Regression - When someone regresses or switches to a younger or less developed mindset, but only partially or not all the way. Regression as a whole has the ability to fluctuate and even be fluid, though this is the most common term for a fluctuated regression.
