3. Redraws of scenes from canon in the style of a real Netflix show or video game

4. Drawing characters with way cooler outfits than they have in canon for the sake of cool outfits

5. Character design breaking down each layer and piece of a character's outfit

6. Mimicking historical art styles (e.g. vintage posters, Victorian portraits)

7. Sprawling landscape paintings of the setting that you can barely even tell is fanart because its just a beautiful landscape

I imagine you get this a lot, but how do you recreate the CRT TV cartoon look? It looks great!

lately i've been using ntscQT to add those types of visual effects! i highly recommend it, as it has different filters/adjustment options (the fx can also work on videos and GIFs)

ever since i heard about ntscQT tbh i dont really make my own crt tv effects within the art program anymore because i lack confidence with how it visually looks LOL

but to those that do prefer achieving a similar 2000s cartoon tv vhs overlay (what do u call this haha), you can use this as reference or to come up with your own process that works best for you:
