I guess sometime just being there just sets it off. Cause Crowley mentioned that "Overblots are rare" yet since Yuu suddenly came there 7 overblots happened in a whole SCHOOL YEAR. Sure in the game Yuu, has just been "Hey, im here" but like a support member that helps be there and makes good calls(not all the time but still help).

For the therapist part, Crowley mostly puts us in charge to help with everything, find the mysterious accidents in chapter 2, help with keeping the school warm in chapter 4, and being a manager for the Dance competition in chapter 5. Its hard not to see Yuu as a therapist when doing all of Crowley work

Twst spoilor for chapter 7.

I havent made it far to chapter 7 yet, but Malleus overbloted because he saw Lilia is getting old, plus he also knew that we will leave him once we find a way home.

See, I don't understand this bout the twst fandom. Talking exclusively about the game here. Never read the manga, but honestly, my point would still stand since this is about Shrimpy Yuu.

Why does the fandom dub Yuu "the unpaid therapist". Literally, they are just THERE. Just there to experience those guys' mental breakdown.

It's always some other character that says anything about it. Wether it be confronting the person about their behavior - which leads to the overblot - or after.

No one is being a therapist. Especially not Yuu.

So why the title??

They're a person who gets dragged into the drama and is trying to protect their friends. Nothing about that screams therapist.
