A compilation of stuff I know about drawing Asian faces and Asian culture! I feel like many “How-To-Draw” tutorials often default to European faces and are not really helpful when drawing people of other races. So I thought I’d put this together in case anyone is interested! Feel free to share this guide and shoot me questions if you have any! I’m by no means an expert, I just know a few things from drawing experience and from my own cultural background.

the fact the inscryption fandom is still kicking is crazy to me LOL but im glad theres still a community behind this game. it still means a lot to me even if its not one of my main interests anymore. this art is very old, i just never got around to finishing it or posting it on my account. i found them while going through old csp files and decided i liked them enough to post, so here you go! this account has been abandoned for a while now, and it probably will continue to be abandoned unless my inscryption hyperfixation comes back or something </3 i might be online for a while to see the tags on the reblogs or something but after that ill probably go back to ignoring this blog, but thank you guys for all the nice comments youve left on my art over the time this blog was active :3 thats about it uhh kaycee hobbes is still my fav i love her okay byee

I keep seeing people making fun of using growled, hissed, roared, snarled etc in writing and it’s like.

have you never heard someone speak with the gravel in their voice when they get angry? Because that’s what a growl is.

Have you never heard someone sharply whisper something through the thin space of their teeth? Or when your mother sharply told you to stop it in public as a kid when you were acting up/being too loud? Because that’s what a hiss is.

Have you never heard a man get so blackout angry that their voice BOOMS through the house? Because that’s what a roar is.

Have you never seen someone bare their teeth while talking to accentuate their frustration or anger while speaking with a vicious tone? Because that’s what snarling is.

It’s not meant to be a literal animal noise. For the love of god, not every description is literal. I get some people are genuinely confused, but also some of these people are genuinely unimaginative as fuck.

When we realized this was happening, we immediately investigated and are taking steps to prevent this from happening again.

The LGBTQIA+ community makes up about a quarter of the Tumblr community. It is important for us to support all Tumblr users, especially those whose safe spaces are under threat in certain parts of the world.

As you know, alongside of the rollout of Community Labels we also expanded the types of content allowed on Tumblr as a way to welcome more creativity, art, and self-expression. Our goals remain the same today. Human error happens and we apologize to anyone who has been impacted by these mistakes.

What I like about Yellow Guy is that he isn’t “stupid” by any means of the word, despite what Duck, Red Guy or the average viewer might think. He talks slow, he can be forgetful, and sometimes his words don’t come out right, but he’s consistently shows social and emotional awareness that the other two often lack, even without the batteries.

Yellow Guy is inquisitive, observant, and very empathetic. His brain friends, despite being based on basic concepts, have complex speech and thought. They know exactly what to say to Warren to make him feel comfortable. They compliment him, call him an eagle, and gently help him connect the wifi, which end up making the teacher feel *too* welcomed.

Unless pushed to the extreme, Yellow Guy has emotional maturity that the other two lack. Even behind the mirror as his “slower” self, he asks if he’s “gone wrong”, essentially pondering on whether he should be happier being able to think with better clarity, or being palatable to the ones he cares about. Or, if he should even care in the frist place, since they aren’t controlling him in any sense of the word.

Yellow Guy is the only person who manages to understand the social atmosphere at work, fitting in without effort after mere minutes. He is the only person who thought of saving Duck, despite Red Guy knowing full well that he was still “alive” beneath the ground. He is the only one who knew how to turn on the car, while Red Guy struggled to figure it out. Moments like these showcase a greater depth in Yellow Guy.

Heck, it’s possible that Yellow Guy might’ve obtained batteries/the book in the past, only to willingly disregard them when the pain of reality became too much to bare. Ignorance is bliss, especially when you live in an inescapable nightmare. Even if you seemingly have all the answers, there is always somebody else controlling you.

And, at the end of the day, Yellow Guy wants to please the people most important to him: Duck and Red Guy.
