absolute territory
Togchako
Honestly as a BNHA lover since the beginning, watching these two come from being considered a rare pair to basically a crack ship to THIS is everything and more.
this is such a beautiful development, nobody can say otherwise.
Warning: This contains majour spoilers for season six and seven of MHA. Please be advised.
I headcanon, when I’m not pretending Hawks didn’t lose his wings in the war, that when it’s over, and he’s no longer able to be a hero, that he’ll do anything to not forget the feeling of wind in his now phantom wings. He’ll do anything to remember the feeling of wind blowing his swept hair in the skies during a high-speed chase.
When he has the time, he’ll watch birds—Whether from outside or through videos—Fly through the air, watching as they tilt their wings, flick a feather to catch a higher drift, and imagine he’s right there with them, flying in the sky and twisting and turning as freely as he wants.
Sometimes, he’ll go up to the tallest skyscraper he can reach wingless, and just feel the wind as it passed by his body, feeling the wind through his ungloved fingertips, and he’ll close his eyes, and sometimes, it feels as if he has his wings again, spread open and ready for him to take the leap.
Sometimes, he’ll play games with either winged characters, or airplane games, and do all the moves he used to in his free time as a hero, and pretend that’s him in the sky.
And sometimes, when he does any or all of that, he can feel his wings again.
Because even though they’re gone, they were still part of him. They’re still in his soul, he is Hawks, and though he has responsibilities as President of the HPSC now, he can’t wait until he’s able to fly with the birds in the clouds once more.
Severitus but instead of Harry being scared of making the wrong move, he wants to make the wrong move. He can't stand the lack of chaos and shouting, he needs to feel unsafe because that is how he feels safe. So he keeps pushing his buttons, and he's getting punished ofc, but he's not being hit. There's no slapping, spanking, kicking, nothing.
One day, he pushes too many buttons for him to believe that he's not going to be hit, but to his surprise, he's not hit, so he loses it. He's screaming, shouting, maybe even crying a bit, asking when will he be hit because he can't handle not knowing.
Severus, calm as ever, maybe even looking down at a book or something, tells him he will never hit him because it's cruel, stupid, or wtv reason.
Cue Harry sobbing because he's never been told something like that, and Severus reassuring him.
Midoriya : i would take a bullet for you
Todoroki : please don't, taking a bullet would hurt me less than seeing you hurt
Kirishima : i would die for you
Bakugo : don't you fucking dare
Shinsou : i would sleep for you
Kaminari : *tears up* you would ?
Aizawa : i would smile for you
Yamada : MIRACLEEEE
Dabi : i would kill for you
Hawks : you would kill for fun
One of my favourite headcanons in My Hero Academia is the idea that Dabi has a comfort food. More specifically, sandwiches are his comfort food. Like, he had a really shitty childhood, yeah? Neglected and cast aside. I imagine that the bad days, when Endeavor was just really upset because, oh, maybe All Might got the case he was supposed to get, or maybe he didn’t get to the scene in time. Or maybe Shoto wasn’t listening during training, or maybe Touya himself got into a fight with his siblings.
When those days happened, I feel like Touya would make a sandwich, and find the nearest, darkest corner probably in his room to hide in, so he didn’t have to face his father. Maybe a good book, too. Because it’s simple. It’s simple, tasty, and can have hundreds of different combinations.
It’s something he carries over as Dabi, as occasionally, the LOV will find him eating a sandwich, despite the meal Kurogiri could have already made for them.
The LOV doesn’t question it, maybe he thinks they’ll poison them or something.
But no, it’s not that.
It’s because it reminds him of some of the only safety he’s known, of comfort in the simple things. And, if he goes back far enough, back when his father still cared for him. And it calms him down on his bad days, where maybe a heist didn’t go as planned, or maybe he got into a fight with one of the LOV members.
I don’t really care if this is OOC, because it’s my headcanon, and dammit he needs some comfort in his life.
The only acceptable trans Tim headcanon would be Tim introducing himself to the batfam as a boy from the get-go with such confidence that no one questions him. Then, his first solo case as Robin is investigating the disappearance of Jack and Janet Drake's "daughter," so he pretends to have a twin sister by forging a bunch of documents and photoshopping family pictures. He then fabricates evidence of her death, committing multiple crimes in the process, and holds a fake funeral at the end. Because if his previous name is dead to him, he's gonna kill it the Tim Drake way
So, there's a relatively common headcanon where Hawks can and does enjoy making nests like any normal avian would.
However, I like to imagine that since Hawks was raised in the HPSC, where they would only hone certain skills that are actually useful as a hero, his nest making skill were never improved or taught.. Ever.
His father certainly never taught him, and the HPSC would have deemed such a skill useless in the grand scheme of things.
So, Hawks would have never learned how to build a nest. However, he does still have instincts for it.
Hawks would, in my mind, probably make a nest exactly like how pigeons do.
Pigeons are well know for being absolutely awful with nest making, using scraps of whatever and laying them out in whatever fashion they feel is fit so high up in the safety of tall buildings or mountains.
Hawks, having very little valuables already, would probably have a scrappy little pigeon nest, because it's all he knows how to make. It's all he can do, because he was never taught or has been unable to build upon the skills needed in nest making.
The Endeavour doll would absolutely be in the nest too by the way.
Maybe 3 AM is the witching hour because it’s the transitional hour from “Late night hours” to “Abominably early morning hours.”
a writing competition i was going to participate in again this year has announced that they now allow AI generated content to be submitted
their reasoning being that "we couldn't ban it even if we wanted to, every writer already uses it anyway"
"Every writer"?
come on
