1. Ah Fai was a chief animator for McDullâs animated features. Heâs super cool. Ultimate senpai.Â
2. Previous post on breakdowns right hereÂ
Some thoughts on acceleration and force
I presented this in the order of how I slowly understood the trick of delivering force -Â first an abstract concept of impact taught by Ah Fai, then a more complicated discovery on the acceleration pattern, last back to a more abstract concept of breakdowns.Â
Like Iâve previously stressed, 2D animation is everything but one single approach. Thereâs no one rule that rules them all, but interchangeable ideas with math, or physics, or music, etc. Thereâs no âperfectâ animation either, but what is perceived as organic and dynamic. E.g., using the Fibonacci numbers to animate didnât bring me a perfect animation! On the other hand, a tiny change in the pattern could already make the feeling of force so much more powerful.Â
Not so much of a tutorial than a personal experience. I hope you find this interesting hahahaÂ

I see BABDâs cult and the bad part of the FNDM have found us talking shit about them.
If Iâm the idiot, then how come youâre the ones complaining about realism in a series where everyone has a magical energy barrier that protects them from harm and has weapons with alternate gun modes thatâs second to only the battle choreography in sheer over-the-top absurdity?
Mindcrank, I donât know what crawled up your ass and died, but Iâd certainly expect an actual RWBY fan to know better than to blindly listen to someone who not only doesnât know shit about anything they bitch about at all but regularly steals art, edits it without the artistsâ permission, is ridiculously sex-negative, stalks and harasses everyone (inculding women) who tell them theyâre a goddamn idiot, and just generally is a complete hypocrite.Â
 âB-but Cinderâs arrows!â
Remember Amberâs class case? Cinder pierced it BEFORE she got the maiden powers.
Pyrrha couldâve worn armor as thicker than concrete and it wouldnât have helped.Â
Also Pyrrhaâs combat style relies on her being able to move quickly, which thick, restrictive armor like the kind that BABD regularly masturbates to wouldnât allow.Â

Asexual and aromantic people are members of LGBT community, without conditions such as who they are in relationship with or what other romantic or sexuality labels they self identify with.
Asexuals and Aromantics definitely belong in the lgbt+ community.
So Iâve gotten a bit of ace and aro hate on my dash recently, and thought Iâd make something.

Stay Dead is a 17 second horror film about a girl thatâs tormented by something in her home that wonât stay dead. It definitly gave me the creeps. (Source)

Start pushing for a movie or show about the Young Avengers, because hot fucking damn THERE YA GO.
Ya got Koralina Dean who is a lesbian, and has badass solar energy powers.
The girl sheâs dating, Julie Power, who is pansexual.
Teddy Altman aka Dorrek, who is half Hulk half changling and also gay. Heâs also an alien prince.
And Billy Kaplan, who has fucking reality warping abilities, a shitload of kenetic abilities, healing telepathy. Heâs also Scarlet Witchâs reincarnated kid. Heâs dating Dorrek.
So weâve got these, frankly, awesome as all hell characters with some cool powers (seriously Wiccanâs powers are fucking badass, just like Scarlet Witch. And Koralinaâs powers? Stunning to look at, absolutely stunning), yet I donât see ANYBODY claiming about there not being enough LGBT represation talking about them; if itâs simply a matter of not knowing, here you are! Now you know, read up on them to your heartâs content just like Iâm doing right now (Avengers Academy seems pretty damn interesting period, if itâs good and not apart of the clusterfuck that is currently Marvel I may just have to get some of the comics).
Marvel has always been pretty good about diversity with their characters; race, ethnicity, religion, sexuality, the whole shebang. So Iâm not really understanding this need to force LGBT status on non-LGBT characters, when we have these characters already.
No, I donât want Cap to have a boyfriend if it means itâs forced bs to make shippers happy, that doesnât sit right with me. Give the characters like the ones listed above more love and attention, who knows we may see them on the big screen one day.
More of a chance than we will forcing LGBT status on non-LGBT characters, thatâs for sure.
Frankly, I wanna see Northstar in something, and yes it is mostly because heâs Canadian.
