Of course I was gonna draw them in their witch hats, obviously
my love letter to colored pencils and acrylic markers

side note posca pens are MADDDD overrated and have since moved down in my tier list of acrylic markers. the tiktok artecho ones tho? goated. looootta layering, but goated.
Your gender is now the first randomized wikipedia article you get. No rerolls.

YALL THEY GAVE HIM CLONE ARMOR
bringing this up again bc im rewatching tbb (yes for the 4th time)
having hunter grapple with being a soldier and no longer knowing if that role suits him, let alone the fact that he has a choice in the matter, all while trying to protect omega and his family
and then proceeding to have him lose a quickdraw because he reacted like a soldier (drawing faster but choosing to aim instead of hipfire) and subsequently failing to protect omega
is genuinely such a good choice and foundational development for the dad he becomes later on. this moment and him attempting to leave omega behind with a "real family" make the payoff for his character that much sweeter imo
There's an EU initiative going on right now that essentially boils down to wanting to force videogame publishers with paid games and/or games with paid elements such as DLC, expansions and microtransactions to leave said games in a playable state after they end support, or in simpler terms, make them stop killing games.
A "playable state" would be something like an offline mode for previously always online titles, or the ability for people to host their own servers where reasonably possible just to name some examples.
I don't think I need to tell anyone that having something you paid for being taken from you is bad, which is a thing that routinely happens with live service and other always online games with a notable recent example being The Crew which is now permanently unplayable.
Any EU citizen is eligible to sign the initiative, but only once and if you mess up that's it. You can find it here. (https://citizens-initiative.europa.eu/initiatives/details/2024/000007_en)
Even if you're not European or you signed it already, you can share this initiative with anyone who is, even if they don't care about videogames specifically because this needs a million signatures and there is different thresholds that need to be met for each EU country for their votes to even count and could also be a precedent for other similar practices like when Sony removed a bunch of Discovery TV content people paid for.
Unfortunately big lettering scares me and I have to fight the urge to block people who reply to me with the Biggest word format every time
if you exit out of your browser (but dont close the app) He shows up in the audio thingy, was wondering if this happens with samsung/other processors :3
OP i am smooching u on the forehead respectfully. you're absolutely right, why wouldn't luke know huttese?
owen knows jawaese, we see it in the beginning of ANH when bargaining for threepio and r2.
i'd argue huttese also has a wider use and range than jawaese ever could as a language, even just on tatooine.
Anyway ROTJ take:
- idk what EU material has to say about this but I fully believe that Jabba the Hutt can speak & understand Basic just fine and is simply choosing not to as a power move. And honestly, he's valid for that
- I also fully believe that Luke can understand huttese. Like he grew up on Tatooine in what seems to be a bilingual society. He's got to at least know some. On his visit to Jabba's palace I think he's pretending not to for his own reasons.
Conclusion: during the scenes where Luke & Jabba are communicating via interpreter they are both just pretending not to be able to understand each other and making poor Threepio act as go between
