About a year or so ago I asked for fanfic submissions to be turned into comics! And this was one of them! I had actually started drawing this a year ago, but just now got around to finishing it!

It's a pretty heavy fic, but its short and really well written! Id suggest checking it out if your in angsty mood!

To spark some positive fandom enthusiasm, I thought I'd try creating a ~fun little ask prompt~, so here goes!

color: Green -> a color often associated with spring, life and new beginnings, Arlo embodies all of these qualities. She is vibrant and full of feeling, and her endless optimism allows her to inspire new beginnings in even the most desolate of beings flower: Spring Beauty -> symbolizes cheerfulness, youthful gladness, which is Arlo's general state of being animal: Dove -> this ties into the role she plays in Crosshair's life. Just as the dove is a symbol of peace, freedom and love, Arlo is Crosshair's love, helped him make peace with the scars of his past, and ultimately find his freedom scent: Freesia -> a light, cheerful scent, often associated with springtime song: imperfect for you by Ariana Grande -> this song is the Crosslo theme. Neither is the perfect partner, but they are exactly what the other needs, and are better together because of it feeling: warmth -> a lot of the Crosslo series focusses on Crosshair and Arlo's desire to feel safe and a sense of belonging, and this is often described as the feeling of 'warmth', which Arlo embodies for Crosshair.

The first one is a little idea I had when coming up with head canons/day dreaming some scenarios for my Crosslo fics post TBB S3. It's not all Crosslo tho (and not all of the chapters will be post S3). I was planning to have one chapter for each person in the batch and my oc, Arlo (ie. 6 chapters total, one with each of Hunter, Wrecker, Echo, Tech, Omega and Arlo). Five of these chapters will be Crosshair (often begrudgingly) telling his brother/sister/partner that he loves them, and one chapter will be a time where he couldn't/didn't say it (but probably really should have). I'll let you guess who he doesn't say I love you too (hint: it's definitely not who you think it would be).

Yeah my "poor sad Cross fic" is one we've chatted about before. Cross is a poor traumatized boy, and unfortunately I've been very kind to him in the last few fics of my Crosslo series. After the first date fic, there are less happy times coming Crosshair's way :(
