She knew she was likely blushing like an idiot, but she otherwise tried to smooth out her appearance, dusting the sand from her hair and her back, and readjusting her shirt where it had ridden up to her ribs. She resolutely ignored the warm, honeyed desire in her core, pretending like she didn’t want to grab Crosshair’s hand and run across the beach in search of another secluded location to finish what they’d started. But she was able to control herself. Probably. Mostly. Maybe.
