Me: *Never watches ninjago, not really into it any more, absolutely asleep*
Ninjago: this season will feature like 10 seconds of Zane trauma :D
Me: *rises* bitch I'm back from my coma-
*Lo’ak and Aonung arguing/fighting again*
Neteyam: Would you to give it a rest!
Lo’ak: He started it!
Neteyam: Ewya, give me patience.
Kiri: I think you mean ‘give me strength’.
Neteyam: If Ewya gave me strength these two would be 6 feet under the sand.
Rexwalker but it’s that one scene from httyd 2 between Valka and Stoic.
Takes place in an AU where Anakin doesn’t turn and they cross paths either when Rex is w/ the bad batch or when he’s w/ the ghost crew. (Do not ask me how this affects the continuity it’s 2/3am brain rot, enjoy.) (reworded to fit the ship)
———————
Rex: I know what you're going to say, Anakin. How could I have done this? Turned on everyone so quick. And why didn't I come back after? Once my chip was removed.
Well, what sign did I have that you were alive, Anakin? That anyone survived after the order went out?
I didn’t want to fight you or anybody, I wanted to go against the chip, but my body wouldn’t listen.
I know that I betrayed you and then left... but I thought you’d be better off without me. And maybe that was wrong, I see that now, but...
Why are you so calm, Anakin! Go on... SHOUT, SCREAM, SAY SOMETHING!
*Anakin cupping Rex’s face with his hand.*
Anakin: You're as beautiful as the day I lost you
Sleep Soundly…
The clones run warm, hyperspace is cold, and these three deserve a cuddle. Ahsoka sleeps on the inside where it’s safest and Rex is used to waking up with dead arms. Anakin clings. He’s very effective at getting Rex to lay in by just refusing to let go and move; they all sleep better having each other close by anyhow and they need all the rest they can get.
Obi-Wan came in to ask them something and turned on their room’s night cycle instead.
Garp: *patting Koby on the back like a car dealer* he’s like the grandson I never had.
Koby: um, sir? Isn’t Luffy your grandson?
Garp: …
Koby: ..?
Garp: *slaps again* like the grandson I always wanted!
One thing to point out but w/ Ultimate Spider-Man, the show doesn’t start at his origin but months maybe even a year into his ‘heroing’. At the point Fury reached out to him he’d been doing this pretty efficiently and alone.
And to your last point, spidey is a teenager but also has immeasurable power. The people around him who know both sides, don’t know what to do with that. They forget he’s a teenager yet remind him of it constantly. They shoulder the weight of an entire team onto him.
Then of course his character gets disrespected by teammates and adults and yeah I’m not surprised he’s a bit jaded or spiteful.
You know I realised something today. There’s a stark contrast between the animated versions of Spider-Man/ Peter Parker and the movie versions
Like we know Peter is hella awkward and he is kind. With or without the suit, his personality is mixed with confident and awkward. But ultimate Spider-Man is a completely different breed. Most of the time rude and hella arrogant. Ultimate Peter was so spiteful it’s hilarious. Spectacular Spider-Man wasn’t quite like Ultimate Spider-Man but there are some parts worth noting.
Peter in the movies is devoted to one girl. MJ or Gwen. Spectacular Peter?? Man had four women. MJ, Gwen, that one cheerleader and mf black cat. Ultimate Peter tho was hella gay for Harry. He rather spent time with him than the gang.
Spider-Man in the movies was quite humble. They knew not to push it. Just stay as Friendly Neighbourhood Spiderman. Minus Tom. He was pulled into the big leagues. He didn’t want it at first. Tom’s Spidey was hella awkward with Tony too at first. He acknowledges him as someone with high authority. Hell, he wouldn’t even think of himself standing next to Tony when suddenly the man himself appears in his apartment
Ultimate Spidey? Every time he sees Tony Stark, he is imagining himself as a higher ranked person if he is alongside Tony. But the fanboying stays atleast. You can tell he’s quite arrogant here.
Not to mention, he’s a spiteful man. I remember there was one scene he’s talking to Fury and Fury tells him not to be late. Then he’s all like “You don’t have to teach me something I already know!” or something like that. Then he storms out like a kid with a tantrum and the door closes after he leaves. Then Fury just says “Teenagers” and Peter with his enhanced hearing obviously heard that. The man opens the door, webs both sides and pulls it, smashing the door, just to prove Fury’s point of ‘Yes I’m the average teenager full of spite’
It’s hilarious.
(I just love ultimate Spider-Man. He’s so overhated.)
Fox meets the little bb’s because Crosshair did Crosshair things while in Guard HQ and he got called in to deal with it
Hunter tries very hard to establish that they’re a very strong and serious commando. Fox wonders why there’s a bunch of 17 year olds running wild. and why exactly he has to take care of if them, dammit Stone come back here-
Wrecker and Tech are the real heroes and stop Crosshair from doing any more Crosshar things. which he takes, eh, badly
and yes, Hunter tries to glare at Fox. which isn’t effective. mostly because Fox deals with Wolffe on a regualr basis. you’ve got a long way to go, kiddo
fun fact, Fox styles his hair back to look older. every little piece helps when dealing with the senate and upper military assholes sitting on Croruscant
He’s trying to explain that the debate of thin Oreos vs double stuffed Oreos is pointless as the presence of the cookie and the cream in measured harmony is what makes the original Oreo the best.
Lucky I had the right colours
This is basically their dynamic- AM I WRONG
Here’s a bonus sketch and drawing of Anakin I hate 😀👍🏼 Do with it as you will LMAO
