Leo: Do we even weigh anything to you?
Raph: No. It’s like holding a couple of grapes.
Raph just casually lifting Leo and Donnie up like it's nothing, and them not even really either being bothered or reacting to him, will never not be funny to me
As much as what can be inferred about a fictional culture while also understanding that human influence will be projected. We can take a guess for the association of at least 4 colours.
Green, white, red, and yellow. These being the colours of martians that have popped up in dc comics.
Green is obviously a well known being the colour of the main and most well known Martian. I imagine green still holds the symbolism life and prosperity as it does in a lot of earth culture
White however is not looked up in a positive sense due to the destruction the white martians. It likely doesn’t have any of the positive connotations that it does on earth ie purity, cleanliness, light, but it def has the negative connotations that earth has about “white” and “whiteness” (I say as a white person, we highkey suck)
Yellow as martians have one notable characteristic in which they tried to invade earth, otherwise there’s not much to infer.
Red being the colour of the entire planet definitely has similar symbolism to what earth has to green and blue. That being it’s common and in abundance, it may have symbolized prosperity as well before the war and disease wiped out a lot martian kind.
Then as for other colours
Orange is the most common colour of fire so I think itd be the colour rooted in fear and aversion
Blue is a rare colour for martians to find in nature, hence why it makes up a lot of Mmh suit. Also the Martian sunset appears blue (this is actual real life fact btw) so it my also be associated with renewal
Indigo likely has similar connotations that blue has if it’s a shade close to blue rather than red that is.
Violet is barely a colour on earth, humans fill in the gaps of light and boom purple. It is fully possible that the Martian comprehend violet light in a way humans can’t.
Black would be whites opposite, as it is on earth, but take on the positive connotations to whites negative connotations. It would be associated with calm and curiosity.
Hey, hey, I have a question, DC lore knowers
Do you have any canon material/headcanons about color associations in Martian culture? If not, would you like to treat this post as a long discussion to figure it out?
I got a sudden urge to know it and I don't feel like I know enough about the Martian culture in general to make it up. Plus, I have only my European perspective to aid me and I know it varies between cultures on Earth alone so it probably be better if more people worked on it.
But, you know. I think this topic has potential to be fascinating.
Anakin: Listen, I make a lot of bad decisions.
*explosion off in the distance*
I just wasn’t planning for this to be one of them.
Turbo Granny: It’s apart of my life mottos: carpe diem, carpe noctem, carpe coles.
Okarun: Seize the day, seize the night, what's the last one?
Turbo Granny: Seize the dick.
Logically, waking up sooner rather than later would’ve been beneficial. If he had woken up the first spring since petrification then most modern technology would be in working order. Even in 10/20 years it would’ve been reasonably doable.
He might not have even tried to wake up for spring at first. If he woke up early enough there would’ve been food, shelter, and access to survival materials regardless of the season.
At some point he reached a deadline where waking up in any season wouldn’t work, it had to be spring.
question:
hello there! how about codywan's mad bros – vox, Quinlan and Fox?

Coruscant Guard hot take:
Out of the all the clone sects, they’re the most accustomed to killing organics (non-droids).
Hear me out, other clones are on actual battlefields but 90% of their enemies are droids. I don’t think we see much of clones killing organics outside of order 66, and that one fucked up episode w/ pong Krell.
Also I know there’s groups aligned w/ the separatist or at least unaligned but still fighting republic troops. But I’m not arguing quantity I’m arguing the clones familiarity with killing organic beings
For the coruscant guard, while a lot of droids are around, living beings are far more likely to be perpetrators/criminals. Lethal force to a degree seems to be allowed, not for the safety of the clones of course, but so the assailant doesn’t hurt anyone with actual human rights. But do you see my point?
