How have I missed that Achilles’ father tries to tell him a story about a warrior who feels wronged by a king and therefore refuses to fight for him, but Achilles isn’t listening because he’s trying to get Patroclus’ attention, so Peleus says that it’s a story for another time. But then Achilles is send to Mt Pelion, and instead of listening to the moral of the tale, he ends up living it.
