i really need to vent about how ignorant guilty gear fans are with northeastern brazilians
like the amount of people calling trigger "gringo music" or "white european music" makes me mad, they're ignoring manguebeat and its cultural significance
as someone from the state where manguebeat came from, i feel a huge connection to giovanna and makes me happy that she indirectly represents a culture that never gets talked about in media! sadly the whole fandom seems to have an ignorance about that (and were even prejudicious against northeastern brazilians)
(btw naoki confirmed that he listened a lot of sepultura and soulfly when singing trigger, they were brazilian numetal bands inspired or related to nação zumbi, band that is symbol of the manguebeat genre)

I remember that when I was trying to draw semi-realistic characters, I realized that I was losing more and more of the charm of exaggerated manga-like characters, so I increased the degree of deformation in this illustration. But still, I feel again that I am not good at drawing more than two people in a composition.
