I'm gonna be so real all I can thank about is how in an AU where they didn't all just die eventually Sarah, Rory, and Erica would simply be 'to young' for Benny and Ethan. Like socially if people saw these two 30 year olds hanging out with what looks like high school kids people would look twice.

Like sure those two dying whilst the other three remain imortal is sad. But what about all those years they do have together, but feel preasured to split apart? What about when Benny starts getting lines along his forehead and Ethan loses the baby fat on his cheeks? what happens then when Erica still has working knees, or Sarah never gets smile lines, or Rorys hands never earn calouses? Because even if Benny and Ethan decide to join them in their vampirism, that still a few years older than their friends, a few more years for them to collect these wonders of aging, a time to see their bodys become what could've been.

I just realised McDonalds wont be like a thing in borderland cuss obviously everyone's like gone. How am I meant to fulfil my brain for its need to picture Arisu surrounded by a mcflurry, a bunch of napkins, a large drink and a box of 20 chicken nuggets that he's frantically shoving in his mouth as his sobs whilst watching mlp now??? 

In a fairy tail here's the roles of characters. yeah. woo.  Kuina is the pretty Princes who fucking wrecks her captures ass  Usagi is the other pretty princes who comes to save Kuina by offering her a horse as a getaway car  chishiya is the horse  Arisu is her butler  Hatter is a random bird that the villain owns and screams the future but its really lame things like “mark from down the street will have waffles on Thursday at 3am whilst watching titanic”.  He also only speaks in French  Aguni is like the villains cat that is always arguing with the bird/hatter except he only speaks Polish  Last boss is the story teller who's like narrating it all and is sat on a bean bag with a pop up book in his lap as a bunch of kids stare at him scared 

Arisu is the type of lover who goes through the motions of being overly clingy and then almost not clingy enough. He’d go from spoiling his lover, texting and msging them any second he can, making playlists and writing fanfics of his lovers Favorite couples ( not that either are very good). then randomly he’d start pulling away, the play lists would stop, the writing would run dry and the gifts would stop ( not his choice, money is hard to get). he still texts everyday but the goodnight texts fade as his sleeping schedule falls into a whack thing.  And he knows it happens, he's sobbed to himself on the kitchen floor enough to know it happens. He’s been broken up with and broken up with people over it for not being a good enough lover. and yet he just cant stop because it comes and goes with the seasons, an unchangeable force of nature . 

Arisu: even at the age of near 19 I still find nothing more I’d enjoy than a crisp glass of apple juice. Well other than college tuition. I guess that’d be great

Usagi: you didn't even go to college? 

Arisu: I feel the debt in spirit

I should be revising but instead im reading about the same ship falling in love a thousand different ways. MY EXAM IS IN EXACTLY A WEEK I DO NOT HAVE TIME FOR THIS BRAIN

alot of shipping drama is fixed with polyamory. so anyway hoa is a big polycule and when people try to explain it it sounds like a meme and not everyone's dating everyone but somehow their all linked. the teachers have a bet for who's dating who because some days they see Fabian and Nina walking through the halls with their hands linked, and the next they see Fabian and Mick hugging the hall way as Mick holds up a mirror behind Fabians back for Amber to use.  or like how Jerome is some days bugging Mara but clearly flirting with her, and the next he’s stealing Alfie's food and resting his feet in his lap.  oh and the whole no one ever being in their bed but whenever Victor can be asked to catch them he never finds the same 2 people sharing a bed

the walking dead intro music reminds me so much of teenwolf that sometimes I forget what show I have going on in the background. I hear it and I'm like "wow can't wait to see some teenage werewolves kill each other" and the next thing I know I'm hearing gun shots and people sobbing as their loved ones get bit.

That boy is running down the stairs in his little jammies and reindeer slippers waiting eagerly to be allowed to open his presents. He'll be in his 20's doing the same routine he did when he was 5. Has a stocking aswell! He's also super proud that he never got a clump of coal unlike some people (cough cough L cough cough)

A lot of peoples defenses for the live action start with "its an adaptation it's not gonna be the exact same show" and like...duh??? Most people who are writing criticisms for the show aren't criticizing it because it's a bad adaptation alone, they point out flaws that come down to it just being a bad show. Adaptations are tricky to get right because they are essentially a professional fanfiction retelling, you have to work out what is the most important parts to carry across the main theme, sometimes that means you have to change the characters personalities or even arcs. We understand that. Many successful adaptations get that (think lord of the rings, or [i'm sorry to say this] harry potter. or even better yet good omens!). Why do those adaptations work then? because they adapt and write a fluid story BASED on that original work. It's there, USE IT.

The live action doesn't work for me because it fails to write its own story well. The exposition dumps, the clunky dialog between characters, the pacing. It feels like a rough draft and not a final product. Like there is SO much potential in this show and I really hope it gets a season 2 with a larger budget and a couple more episodes because I want them to do well. There's a couple of really cute small things that are so interesting like Zuko having those avatar dolls or Sokka and Suki first training together and her correcting his form. I want more of this and less of them just dumping future lore on me for no reason. It would really help them narratively if they just let some things remain a mystery to new audiences.
