I like the idea that chat is actually really good at keeping his identify because of how chatty he is. like imagine an interviewer asking “so how old are you” and chat thinking nothing of it just goes “oh yeah I'm 14″. but he's not 14 he's actually 15 he just forgot he turned 15 3 months ago but oops oh well cant change what just splatted out of his mouth now so the entirety of Paris now believe they have a 14 year old superhero. Can’t lie Dido’s suicide is the best thing to happen to both Dido and (kinda) Aeneas. Cuss like listen okay Dido lusting over Aeneas is not his fault! It was the Gods work and then Dido’s sister that convinced her to act on her divine feelings.

Is Aeneas still kind of an ass? Yes. He still took her univera status from her, allowed her kingdom to collapse since she was following him like a duck, and then go on to denounce their (tbf unofficial) marriage . These aren’t great things but they also wouldn’t have happened without Juno, Venus and Cupid.

Anyway the reason why it’s good is cuss Dido gets to be with her husband- her one *true* love. The person she swore off men for. The person who even in death she craves to be in his arms! Like sorry but her suicide is what allowed her to return to him. Not to mention it’s what broke cupids spell AND brought her so much sympathy from Juno (who yes… is to blame) that she sent Iris to cut her life thread short. Ya know. BREAKING FATE! Her death is horrible but it’s also the kindest fate she could ever have once the Gods caught sight of her.

For Aeneas it’s not so much her suicide but the leaving, he does it for his son! It’s not even for himself he doesn’t care, mercury ‘manipulates’ Aeneas using his fatherhood and leader role against him to not only force him out of Carthage but to leave THEN and there. I mean come on, Aeneas isn’t pleased with Didos death, in book 6 he uselessly reached out to talk to her and in book 11 he buries his surrogate son, Pallas, in robes SHE gifted. He doesn’t forget her. Her last mention is with the son that he could never truly have. The family he could never have *because* of Rome. It’s depressing.

But it’s better than loving a man because the Gods forced you. It’s better than watching your kingdom slowly crumble around you and you not having the ability to care. It’s better than failing as a father and the carrier of your cultures future. It’s better than ignoring the call of the Gods.

Wanna know why I love avatar so much? Cuss the avatar really was the friends we made along the way. This isn’t some big deep dive into the morals of the show so be warned, it’s as surface deep as you can get but…

Being able to bend all 4 elements isn’t what the avatar is. The bending is just a physical representation of bringing those 4 clashing cultures together. Without Aang there is no reason for zuko, toph, katara or sokka to be friends. But because of him they are. They as representatives of their nations work with the last air bender (AND THE AVATAR!) to bring peace.

Because one man, one culture, cannot be the defining force in a universe. It’s just not true to reality. Sure some people helped more than others (the earth army was larger than the water tribes) but it was still a group effort. Everyone has to put effort in to keep their world at peace because every nation/ element plays a role in sustaining their life.

Honestly would love to write a fic about the avatar spirit dying/ disconnecting with humanity after aang gets stuck in the ice to further explore this idea but …. Im lazy.

Kuina and last bosses fight was like cool and all but imagine instead of they just rap battled. Or better yet power of friendship and they became like best friends.

Imagine just last boss being forced to come along and suddenly becoming the annoying dad of the group. All “no you can’t go try climb that 7 story building usagi that’s dangerous. I’ll do it instead”.

Also imagine Kuina like finding a wig for him and styling it and it’s like bright blue and he refuses to take it off cuss his bestie gave it to him.
